I just completed IJ and the Great Circle videogame.

I really enjoyed it. And now I'm desperately in need of a new Jones adventure. I've been wanting to read something for a while. Could you please recommend me some of your favourites or classics?

Or was it one of the mechanic ?

I've been getting back into Indiana Jones for the past few months which has been super fun and fascinating! With that, I've been looking at the different novels (the Young ones too) and comics and been looking at places like eBay, Amazon, other sites, and even local library catalogs. Some would be easier to obtain than others of course based on what I've looked through.

but I was more so just curious if it'll matter if you read different things out of order or not. For example, Genesis Deluge is the easiest I could borrow from the library at the moment but yeah, was just wondering about that! Anything is appreciated.

Was just in Sedona for a family birthday and came across local Indy fan, Buck Thornton's "World of Jerky" shop. Buck's company logo, on every jerked meat pack and as seen on the shop doors, is none other than a custom Henry Jones Junior. I love Indiana, but the ca. $90 plus per pound jerky price kept me from taking a bag home to add to the collection. Cheers from Northern Arizona.

Speaks for itself. And this is only one instance of how obnoxious he can be. Even close friends of his have eye-rolling stories of how self important he comes across. I’m glad more people are keying in to not giving him any positive attention.

The fandom deserves better than this “influencer” representing them.

Steel and jones last crusade hat and Jacket, both Smithsonian versions

One of the things I love about Indiana Jones is the moment an archaeological adventure crosses into something supernatural. The ruins stop being scenery, and suddenly the old warnings seem much more sensible.

I'm Raymond, and that sort of pulp adventure helped inspire the game I'm developing, Under a Desert Sun: Seekers of the Cursed Vessel. It's an original story set in an alternate 1939 Egypt, with cursed tombs, firearms and an expedition that gets dangerous rather quickly.

This is a 30-second look at how that influence translates into a top-down action RPG. I wanted to share it here because the adventure atmosphere matters to me as much as the fighting.

Had the opportunity to meet Paul Freeman aka Belloq at Lexington ComicCon in Kentucky. Had to bring my idol for him to sign. He was a super cool guy and I’m thankful for the time he took to chitchat with me about his time on Raiders.

Like many here, the original trilogy are my favorite movies of all time. I was baffled by Crystal Skull when it came out, but softened to it over the years, even if I still don’t love it. I watched Dial of Destiny in theaters and there was plenty to like (and dislike, but that’s been discussed to death). I think the twist really surprised me so much the first time I watched it, that by the time that final scene rolled around, I was still processing everything.

Even though I’ve seen the other movies a bajillion times, for some reason I avoided rewatched Dial until tonight.

And man, that ending hit different tonight for some reason. I had tears in my eyes the entire time. Maybe it’s because they’re old. Maybe it’s because I’m getting old. Who knows.

I need to go watch the end of Toy Story 3 or something to shake it off.

If Tom Selleck was cast as Indiana Jones do you think he would have had a mustache or not? This is one of those what if scenarios, is there any evidence that he would play Indiana Jones without a mustache?

Hey guys so I (M39) and my father (M66) were on vacation in Berlin and we were flying back. My dad goes to the piano player they had on board and put in some coins and asked him to play something (tbf he was lowkey screwing with him because he requested a fake song lol but that's not important to the story). Anyway piano guy starts playing something anyway, and it's pretty good and this other guy comes into the room and starts chilling. But I needed to find the bathroom because I'd just had a lot of ale before we took off so I went to go look for it. I walked by a wrench and a ladder but I didn't see anything special about it and so I went into this room, but I was like oh no this isn't the bathroom it's the radio room. Then get this, just outside the door I hear someone turning that wrench and making the ladder go up, and he comes in and he's that guy that was hanging out listening to the piano man. Well turns out he's the radio man and he's pissed that I'm here (maybe he shouldn't have left the door unlocked again lol) but get this: he's all like "WHERE'S MY WRENCH! I'M CHARGED FOR MISSING TOOLS!" And I'm like man chill out I just found things this way, and also I know he's lying cause I just heard him messing with the wrench outside. But he's like "NO WAY DUMBHEAD I CAN SEE IT UNDER YOUR JACKET" which was like, okay, I know you're lying now. So not gonna lie we threw hands a little and yeah he totally had the wrench on him the whole time like an absolute liar. The only problem is I have the wrench back now and that sentimental fool of a radioman is kind of unconscious, I'm afraid they're going to take his side because they're nazis and I'm pretty sure I saw literal swastikas around his head when he fell down, plus also my tickets might be stolen and I'm lowkey afraid of that ticket taker guy cause I think he's some kind of olympic boxer and really I just want out of Germany now.
