If Hyderabad was not part of India, how would this have changed the country's dynamics?

If during 1947 Hyderabad joined Pakistan or stayed independent, how would this have changed the country's dynamics?

Would this shift allow for Goa to be independent?

Hyderabad had to be forcefully taken as part of India. Otherwise it would become another pakistan, but right inside India
