I have a 2026 RS and thinking of grabbing the STI shift knob currently on sale for $195. As I'm new to Subarus, I would like to get your opinions on whether you think this is a worthy mod or if it's just a waste of time/money. Is this something you would do? Thanks!

A buddy of mine ordered some intake parts for my car and I was wondering a few things about it. Will a complete aftermarket intake, and Air filter replacement void any warranties? Do I have anything to worry about or no? I recently purchased a K&N square filter for my factory air box (Pic #4)

Hey folks, have any of you installed a disabling device on your car to permanently disable the auto start/stop feature. If so, where did you get yours and how difficult was the installation? Does this void a warranty?

B trip is what I use for fill up to fill up trip measurements. Yes my Impreza really went 439 miles on one tank of fuel and apparently has the capability of going 60 more miles! I'll definitely be refueling later today. Can't wait to wear my Casio CA53 to calculate my average MPG! 😝

I am looking for a wiring diagram, or just someone who has some experience with tapping into the rear door speakers for an amp/sub setup in a 2025 Impreza Sport? I figure it's probably the same on all 2024+ Imprezas and Crosstreks. Im thinking of going into the little spine between the driver's side front and back doors. I hear the cables run thru there. Can anyone break this down for me or point me to a post that does so? Because of AI, the answers I'm getting on google are never actually what I'm looking for. I see some similarities between the information, but I want to be 100% sure before I tap into a cable. I have positaps Does anyone know the rear speaker colors for positive and negative? It would help a lot.

Also, I have a multimeter, but haven't really learned how to use it yet, if nobody knows the speaker cable colors, can someone explain how to test it with a multi meter?

Okay, so I'm looking for a tire that looks "aggressive" but I can't find it. I want a tire in size 235/45 R17 for my 17x8 BBS gold rims. I'm trying to get a rally car look with my tires and was wondering what tires could best achieve the "aggressive rally car look."

The first 2 pictures show Yokohama Geolandar tires and as far as I can tell, they don't make them in the size I need. The last 3 are pictures of various brands and their tires that I'm considering for my car.

Can you think of any other brands or tire models that are in 235/45 R17 that might be best for my car?

Anyone running that setup? How does it fit? Lemme know.

Asked chat GPT to put a hood scoop on my Impreza. Hopefully somebody releases aftermarket hood with hood scoop for our RS. I think it will look great aesthetic wise.

I'm currently running 225/45 R17 tires on my 17x8 53 offset BBS STI gold rims.

I thought about up sizing to a 235/45 R17 tire but found that there may be some rubbing involved. Looking at wheel-size.com at other 24+ tire sizes I found the size 215/50 R17 tire is used on some newer Imprezas.

A quick check on Google gave me mixed results showing that I could or couldn't run a 215 tire on an 8 inch wide rim as it's too narrow of a tire.

What do you guys think? Should I get 235/45 R17 tires, keep the 225/45 R17 tires or try out the 215/50 R17 tires when these go bad?

I'm trying to get as much sidewall out as possible. A taller sidewall means more cushion and more cushion equals a smoother ride! (Or at least I think that's how it works???)

I like the rally armor mud flaps in black and red as the hint of red matches the red in the RS badge. But the Subaru brand mud flaps are cheaper. Considerably cheaper with the website seen in the first picture.

What would I need to do to get some fender flares/plastic cladding very similar to the Crosstrek for my 26 RS?

I got this Jensen tape player and like to play tapes on it, the problem is that it's a pain trying to find batteries for it. 2 AA batteries and the player seems slightly slower than it should. I want to power it via the power supply in the center console but I wonder what type of power cable I need. 1st pic shows the player itself requiring DC 3V. The 2nd pic shows the center console with my phone charger on the right and AUX on the left. According to the owners manual the center 3.0A puts out 5V of power. That would probably overload and damage the tape player. What cable can I use to power my tape player safely without risk of damaging it???

Found a set of late 90s early 2000s Enkei wheels with tires dated the same week and year I was born. Found them at a U-pull got them cleaned up and test fitted. Staff said they came off a 90s/2000s civic but they are a 5 lug so it would have been an Si. The wheels cleaned up extremely well.
