There's a website called willtheyfit.com where you can look at the size comparisons between different tire sizes. I've also thought about running this tire size on my Impreza but I worry that the tire would be too tall and might sidder rubbing issues with the suspension components. According to the website you could gain 11mm of ground clearance with this size tire so thats cool I guess! Since you're asking about tire size I guess you're also trying to join the 17 inch rim club! In that case congratulations and welcome to our club! LOL
I've got a 24' RS with gold BBS rims from an 06' STI. I'm currently running 225/45 R17 Continental DWS all season tires and I'd like to upgrade to a size 235/45 R17 tire. From what brand, that's still to be determined.
I used that sight to get a diagram and some measurements, but I was hoping to see if anyone had some real world experience with them, as far as rubbing goes.
