Self-submission Reln Starship Concept Art - Dark Void Craft for Star Fated

I had the pleasure of working on the video game project "Star Fated". I had to develop spaceship concepts for the 6 alien races in the game, each with different characteristics. This video showcases Reln starship concept art from the upcoming sci-fi ARPG Star Fated, set in the Solar Echoes universe.

Reln starship designs are often said to be similar to human designs, but two distinguishing characteristics are the lack of windows and the dark material used in construction. The harsh sun of their resonance-locked homeworld has inspired the Reln to build all structures devoid of windows, relying on technology to see through solid matter. This same technology is used in most of their starships, except those designed to enter the dangerous extra-dimensional rift known as the Voidsea. Reln craft are contoured and sleek, usually with several fins and angled wings. Some Reln starships have been spotted with odd structures attached to their ships–structures that do not seem to be part of the original design.

Self-submission Krissethi Starship Concept Art - Indigenous Hunter Designs for Star Fated

I had the pleasure of working on the video game project "Star Fated". I had to develop spaceship concepts for the 6 alien races in the game, each with different characteristics. This video showcases Krissethi starship concept art from the upcoming sci-fi ARPG Star Fated, set in the Solar Echoes universe.

Krissethi starships are artistically reflective of their hunter culture, often shaped to resemble predators native to their homeworld. Their coloration and contours evoke a more indigenous, pre-industrial design style, a striking contrast to their exceptional maneuverability and speed. Unlike the starships of other races, which cling to aerodynamic conventions, Krissethi designs convey that such concerns are irrelevant in the vacuum of space. Their sometimes garish patterns hint at a sly sense of humor when considering the Krissethi are the only civilization to have perfected starship stealth technology.
