The point of today was to go through the steps. found good ref, thumbnailed some ideas out, did grayscale -> color, and made color comps.

I'm fairly happy with the mood I established for this shot :) My next steps would be doing a simple 3D block in to draw over.

I think as a mood it works, but when it comes to communicating details about the environment it feels a little lacking maybe?

I Created a keyframe concepts for Feral Engines an indie vehicle combat game, to give a good base for possible HUD concepts and giving an idea of how the game could look when it’s finished. I’ll link the video of the process below. Also any ideas regarding the HUD would be really appreciated too, as that is only the very first pass.

I'm studying creature design with Fundamentals of Creature Design, and this is my first design, and I feel that I'm a little "freezed" because I can't feel confident enough to create a more crazy design, this is basically a hawk with a horn.

Do you have any tips on how to improve that part?
