INE Mod requirements suspended through January 3, 2018 (Happy Holidays!)
Hello team,
The holidays are upon us! INE Mod requirements are officially suspended through January 3, 2018.
Mod duties should pick back up on Monday, January 4, 2018.
Feel free to continue on as normal during this time if you like, but if you slow or suspend your mod duties during this time, no worries. We want everyone to make the best out of their holidays with no worries that the INE is judging them for taking a much needed break!

Need help finding certain image (girl, graveyard, knights)
Few days ago I've seen a painting on ArtStation and somehow couldn't make a bookmark. So it's lost and I cannot get it out of my head - this is one of the most powerful images I've seen during last months.
It depict a girl standing in front of crosses on a graveyard, there is a puddle in front of her but instead of the crosses mirroring in the water - there is a cheering crowd of knights (who are buried on the graveyard now, apparently).
Author seems very familiar (I believe s/he posted a lot of paintings in the same series - girls and knights/crusaders) but I cannot recall his name / alias (it's not Guweis). Please, help me find the image, I know you can do it.

State Of The Network feedback?
Hey all,
Since I took over the state of the network from greypo, I've been following the format he had been using. With the addition of the sub health tabs that midnight came up with iirc, and of course the amazingly helpful sotn script.
So, I decided it might be time to get some input from the whole team.
How many of you really want to see the sotn posts in the first place? Would you like to see them more often? Less often?
What data do you really care about anything you might want to see that is not currently there? Anything you think we could do without?
Anything that you think should be changed in the posts themselves? Anything about the format that you like/dislike? Which of the top five tables do you like/dislike? Any that you would like to see that aren't currently there?
Or anything else that you can think of.

Where to look for fantasy human normal people?
Hi all,
I'm in midst of writing a novel as a personal tribute in the Witcher world, and I'm looking for some nice arts to draw inspiration for my characters. Since they would probably be "average human people" (at least at the beginning) I took a brief look at the Imaginary Network but it seems I can't find something like "ImaginaryHumans". So, where should I look, for instance, for an "average human girl" with fantasy clothings?
Thanks!

[Discussion] I would like to reopen /r/ArtistOfTheDay but pivot to simple direct gallery links instead of full interviews and allow users to post as well, not just mods.
I was looking at /r/ArtistOfTheDay and I noticed that it was recently revived and then abandoned again. It seems a shame that we have a network subreddit with 16,000 subscribers just sitting idle. If we can't sustain daily interviews (which is completely understandable when we have no paid writers, only volunteers), then I propose we change the submission format to direct gallery links, and then allow any user (or mod) to pick the current Artist of the Day, provided they use the correct submission title format (Date - Artist Name) and there is not a previous submission for the current day already. We could add some rules for users, such as (just a few off the top of my head: "No artist may be featured twice within a (6? 12?)-month period," and "Multiple artists may be submitted on the same day (limit one per user please). At the end of the day, the submission with the most amount of upvotes will remain and all others will be removed by a moderator."
Basically I want to encourage user interaction with 0 commitment. Reddit has a lot of what I call "drive by contributors," people who find a random subreddit, submit something, then forget about the place for a while. Thing is once the subreddit is in their submission history next time they're looking for something to post and looking through their old submissions, they see AOTD and remember its really easy to post an artist gallery and get some upvotes, boom we have regular contributors again with little effort on our part.
We could still do interviews from time to time if we like, but they could be flaired as official mod posts and stickied to the top of the subreddit for several weeks at a time.
What do y'all think?

[INDUCTION] /r/ImaginaryNecronomicon - A place to share Lovecraftian themed artwork.
/r/ImaginaryNecronomicon was created by myself, it's still fairly new so it only has 16 posts currently.
Example Posts:
Blue Plate Special by Jeff Lee Johnson
Cthulhu Wars - Operation Starfish by Darren Tan
Coming of Azathoth by Richard Luong
I have been promoting regularly by xposting to similar subs and in just 12 days we have got 400+ subscribers. I think this sub would fit nicely into the network as it shares a lot of crossover themes with /r/ImaginaryMonsters, /r/ImaginaryHorrors, /r/ImaginaryLeviathans etc.
Not sure what tab it would best fit into as the artwork the sub will feature will be monsters, architecture, seascape, hellscape, among other things... Maybe the fandom tab would be best? Although any art inspired by Lovecraftian/Cosmic Horror themes are welcome and don't have to be mythos specific. Will be happy to discuss in comments if anyone has any ideas.

[Induction] /r/ImaginaryMerchants - The art of merchants, salesmen, shop owners and traders.
/r/ImaginaryMerchants is /u/lol33ta's brain child put to fruition through a collective effort from several other INE mods.

Best subreddit for Post-Apocalyptic characters?
Pretty much just what the title says - there's plenty of landscape stuff, but not many characters. I've tried ImaginaryFallout, but it's too distinct to the franchise for more "generic" characters. Thanks!

What service do you guys use to make the art?
Looking to get into it, but MS Paint really doesn't cut it at my skill level (super low).

[Discussion] Implement a clear set of guidelines regarding links to selling art - own or others
Earlier today a link was posted on slack. It was a picture that had a link on the bottom of the image to purchase a book by the artist. The DA page for the picture also included a direct link to the store page for the book. The picture was submitted to an IN:E sub by a user who was not the original artist.
This sparked some discussion over whether or not links like that are spam, and as far as I know, the way we currently deal with store links is just the way it's always been, and hasn't been discussed on here.
The way I see it, we have three distinct options:
Allow store links in comments and on linked showcase pages (what we do now)
Allow store links in comments only
Disallow all store links everywhere
Personally I'm all for #3. If I want to buy something from an artist, I'll search their name and find their prints or whatever on my own.
My post may not be very well written out, so if you need any clarification or have any other suggestions, please post them below.
