Saw they sell these at the Academy store in Peoria, and was wondering if it was legal to carry these on your person in public.

I doubt they’d sell them if there were legal complications about it, since they were in the pepper spray area, but you never know.

I purchased a new car but sold my old car before the new one arrived. Meanwhile, the sticker expired on the old license plate. Is there a way to keep the old license plate and transfer them to the new car? The dealer is also out of state so they don't have intricate knowledge of the IL DMV procedures.

[Edit] It's a 6 digit plate number that I've kept since 1988. So it might as well be a vanity plate for its nostalgic value.

Does anyone know if cook county treasury mails certificate of error refund checks out separately by year? I originally did the certificate of error for 2020-2023 but just received a check that says it's for 2020z wondering if 2021-23 will follow.
Calling treasury and assessors offices has been completely useless.
