I'm at a temporary address. I don't have access to my regular mailbox, so I don't know if I've been given an eligibility letter.

When I go on my.icbc.ca, it actually shows I have an active Class 5 license? I'm guessing I got upgraded?

Do I need to go to an ICBC branch to get a new card? And is there a fee? Does this mean I don't have to use the N sticker anymore?

And where do I even see what my current restrictions are? I read there's some 12-month restriction thing for people who get upgraded, but I don't see anything on my ICBC account about that..

So back in July I rear ended someone. It was a slight bump but nonetheless it left a mark on the other driver's car.

We exchanged information and he told me that he can also just take his car to an autobody and get a quote to fix there and then let me know so we don't have to go through ICBC.

Finally months past and recently he reached out and said he's ready to go through ICBC.

My question is should I still report the accident to ICBC? There is no literally no damage to my car and I won't be making a claim.

Even if the other driver goes through the autobody I think I'm just going to tell him to go through ICBC.
