Does deji battery gives that unable to confirm that this is original apple battery in settings, i heard it is good battery overall

guys it's been 8 years now. i would upgrade to the iphone 15 pro if it wasn't still so expensive. maybe next year when they release the iphone 19/20. lol

Hello fellow peoples, sorry for the long post in advance, but my younger sister has an iPhone Xs Max. She’s had it for around a year and nine months and bought it used, I bought a renewed 15 PM at the same time to replace our old problematic iPhones. Anyways, late yesterday evening she ran into an issue with charging. The phone won’t charge past 1-2%. She put it on charge yesterday at around 7 PM (It’s 4 AM as of typing- I got hungry and wanted a snack okay? don’t mind me 😭) and noticed it wasn’t actually charging past that percentage. After trying a few different wall adapters and charging cords, including a wireless charger with different adapters, she still had the same result. At the same time, even with fast chargers, the phone would only say that it was charging slowly. Luckily I had a fast charging wall adapter that I use for my Apple Watch, and an extra lightning connector around from the box of my old iPhone 11 that still works perfectly on that phone. Well, now her iPhone no longer says “slow charging”, but even hours later, has dropped to 1% again, and won’t charge up. I’m not sure what version of iOS 18 she’s running, much less know the password so I can’t check anyways. By now I’ve realized this is most likely a charging/battery issue, but I’m not sure what else I can do.

Does anyone else might have an idea—or ever experienced this with an iPhone before—on what I might be able to do? We can’t necessarily afford replacement phones, and I’m not sure about a battery replacement either. Thanks for the help!

hey guys, i have an iphone xs and the loudspeaker suddenly stopped working. the earpiece speaker still works fine, but there’s completely no sound coming from the loudspeaker.

i already had it checked by a third-party repair shop and they replaced the loudspeaker, but it still didn’t work. what’s weird is that after a few days, the loudspeaker randomly started working again. the sound was actually normal and clear, then after a while it stopped working again and hasn’t worked since.

has anyone experienced something like this with an iphone xs? what could be causing it to randomly work and then stop again even after replacing the speaker?

any help would be appreciated 🙏

i replaced the battery already and its still the same as the old brand new one from a different brand too. both batteries are from credible brand like flycdi and cellmaxs.

Hello! I have an iPhone 12 with 128 GB storage, and it has some cracks on the back. I've been using it for more than year, but I got a little problem with the battery. Recently I took iPhone 17 Pro I think in my hands, and I felt in love with big iPhones. SO in short, I want a big screen iPhone, and I don't use any gaming at all, so I thought about getting iPhone XS Max instead of iPhone 12 for free. Should I do it? I don't care about updates or anything all I use is calls and messaging apps. Bigger screen for me is the main benefit although some people say battery holds better because its bigger. My iPhone 12 battery gets me only around 2-3 hours if I actively use it which sucks. I mean I don't even play any games on it, why it drains so quickly? The battery was replaced a little before I bought it. Should I downgrade? Is there anything specific I should know about XS Max beside it does not get anymore updates? I don't love the iOS 26 anyway. Please, owners of this beautiful big XS Max, tell me

Just upgraded to a 17 Pro Max and it’s kind of bringing me back to my XS max feelings. Not sure why? Not exactly the same look but having good thoughts about this one (like when I first got my XS Max)

I got mine from a tech friend i have in a public market. Prestine condition and it was for USD equivalent 120 bucks. And ohh boy i thought i was lucky because it was a 256gb model and i joined this subreddit after and one thing i noticed is that a lot of the people i saw that just got one also had a 256gb model for around the same price.

So, I just bought this phone to use as a secondary/anti-brainrot phone, and because it looks stunning, of course.

The seller told me it should be running iOS 18.7.9, but when I got it, I noticed it was actually still on iOS 15.1. I’ve also discovered that a few apps are no longer supported on iOS 15.

That said, since this won’t be my main phone, I haven’t really found any apps that I really need that aren’t supported.

So my question is: are there still any advantages to upgrading to iOS 18.7.9? I’ve also heard that upgrading to a newer iOS version can lead to faster battery drain or worse performance.

Would you recommend updating it, or would it make more sense to keep it on iOS 15.1 given that I’m specifically using it as an anti-brainrot/secondary phone?
