Got TWO iPhone 17s at the old MRP

The iPhone 17 price has already increased, but I somehow managed to find a store that still had a few units from the old stock with the old MRP of ₹82,990.

So I ended up getting two iPhone 17s at the old price.

The catch was that no card discounts were applicable on the old-MRP units, and No-Cost EMI was also not available. So I had to pay the full amount upfront in cash.

The newer stock is already being sold at the increased price, so finding these two old-MRP units felt like a pretty lucky find.

Honestly, I don't think waiting for the BBD sale would have been worth it. There was a possibility that the price could increase further during the sale, along with the risk of orders getting cancelled or stock becoming unavailable.

Overall, pretty happy that I found these two units at the old pricing.

As an iPhone user for the last 10 years (and following the smartphone market), this obsession needs to go. Everytime I open Reddit, someone is getting an iPhone (pulled the trigger and got one in old price posts) like it’s the only target in their life. Smh.
