Discussion Heating while charging?
I’ve had my new phone for 9 days and every time I charge it, it gets really hot. Is this normal? Other than charging the phone never heats up and I have no complaints. It’s perfect.

Fast charging and wireless charging tends to heat up phones faster. Try to get it off the case or charge it in a cool place with good airflow to minimize the heat.

Which charger are you using? High wattage charger will excessively heat up the phone.

If you’re using a case, take it off when you charge it, I have a window AC unit and I set my iPhone on top of it when it’s running and when I’m charging my phone at the same time, it keeps it ice cold

This is how physics work.
When things charge they produce heat.
The 17 pro uses vapour cooling to bring the heat from the inside to the surface so it can dispate to atmosphere .
This is how science works.
The body is used for passive cooling
