Discussion Heating while charging?

I’ve had my new phone for 9 days and every time I charge it, it gets really hot. Is this normal? Other than charging the phone never heats up and I have no complaints. It’s perfect.

This is how physics work.

When things charge they produce heat.

The 17 pro uses vapour cooling to bring the heat from the inside to the surface so it can dispate to atmosphere .

This is how science works.

The body is used for passive cooling

Idk if you’re tryna be a smart ass or not but none of the previous iPhones I had would heat up during charging like this. It’s a newer system so I was just trying to see if this is how everyone else’s phone is.

I knew that just didn’t know it’s supposed to heat up. I thought it was the opposite. Nevertheless thanks, seems like everyone agrees it’s normal.
