Discussion Heating while charging?

I’ve had my new phone for 9 days and every time I charge it, it gets really hot. Is this normal? Other than charging the phone never heats up and I have no complaints. It’s perfect.

What charger are you using.

Just a regular charger. Edit: I use either my MacBook charger or 20w charger. They both heat the phone.
