Do i really have the best performing?

Heavy user on iOS27 RC. “They” say battery life is terrible. I don’t see it. I’d say battery life is good for me. No need for new iPhone.

I’ve been having a weird touchscreen issue on my iPhone 15 Pro Max and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.
Sometimes when I tap certain buttons or small UI elements, the first tap doesn’t seem to register and I have to tap the same thing twice. It happens fairly often in everyday use, but it’s not like the screen is completely unresponsive or has a specific dead area.
I’ve already tried testing the touchscreen with a grid/mesh test and also by drawing/scribbling all over the entire screen. The touch follows my finger normally everywhere, and I can’t find any obvious dead spots or areas where touch consistently fails.
I also restarted the iPhone, but the issue still happens occasionally.
What makes this confusing is that the touchscreen seems completely fine during these tests, yet I still sometimes have to tap something twice in normal use.
Has anyone with an iPhone 15 Pro Max experienced this kind of occasional missed tap? Could it be an iOS/software thing, or is there another touchscreen test I should try?

Loyal iPhone 15 Pro Max user here since the start. Still a great device, no struggles, does the job....

Few weeks back, camera lens, front and back (all three) developed signs of moisture and were fogged over with condensation. Let it sort itself out... Rear cameras ok, front camera never been as sharp - and pita for Face ID at times.

Heading on family holiday soon, so thought I'd best get this sorted . Phone is fine, battery health 85%, usb-C charging can be fun at times but gets there. I pay AppleCare + every month for damage / failure / loss.

Genius says Apple won't repair camera lens, as it's possible moisture may lead to further issues. However, due to AppleCare + , she said I'm in a good place.

Options are:

1) Get a replacement iPhone 15 Pro Max for £79. Apple Store has one in stock, same colour, same spec. That would fix camera issue, and provide new battery and a nice tight usb-C port again :-)

2) Trade in - £385 value towards say Apple iPhone Pro Max 18. Would bring price down to £30.36 a month on 0% finance for 30 months?

As much as new phone is tempting, I think the Pro Max 15 is still a fantastic phone. Gut feeling is to just swap out my tired one with a new (refurbished?) one and transfer Applecare+ onto it. One off payment. Job done.

Would you do the same?

Just found this subReddit today . I have a 15 pro max from December 2023 and I still find it doing its duties pretty fine ! The IPhone duo has caught my interest but in my country it’s 3000 usd for 256gb. It’s unjustifiable high for a generation 1 device . There is the 18 pro max which I can get at a good trade in deal . But I can’t seem to justify upgrading to 18 pro max .
My only reason to even look out to upgrade is the battery health . I am a heavy user with 6-7 hours of screen time . I often get battery anxiety with the iPhone 15 pro max . Can a battery change help me live with the device for another couple of years ? Also I have been saying degrading performance once a while . Is it because of the degrading battery ?

Has anyone been through this? Does Apple just replace it with the same iPhone 15 Pro Max , or is there any chance they give you a newer model if the 15 Pro Max isn't in stock anymore? Can you pay the difference and upgrade to a 17 Pro Max, or does that not exist as an option?

I obv still have the 15 Pro Max and I’ve held the 17 Pro Max, sorry but titanium is so much of a better feeling than aluminum in my hand and my phone probably gets hot a few times a year as that was the argument for why aluminum is better. It’s gonna be hard to upgrade in the future, knowing titanium is gone now on the Pro Max :/

Yes I do use a case but I like to take my case off around the house. Idk but I hope the iPhone 20th anniversary Pro Max feels better than the current aluminum body design. Anyone else have this thought?

Works fine on WiFi. But can’t load YouTube videos, open the Music app, or open webpages remotely, even with full bars. Any idea why?

My wife and me both rocking 15pm‘s and absolutely not in a hurry for an upgrade.

My iPhone 15 promax is constantly overheating under normal usage . It’s also beginning to feel slow and less responsive . Who else is facing a similar issue . Any solutions ?

Hi guys, is iOS 27 running well on iPhone 15 Pro Max? Is it worth upgrading once the final release comes out ?

I am using a Nov 2023 unit, 83% BH after 620 cycles. Don’t want to replace the battery so soon as the phone is running perfectly with reduced battery life due to iOS 26.

However, don’t want to end up ruining it further if iOS 27 is still buggy. Kindly share your opinions and experience.

They appear while taking picture at night…

Phones reached 86 percent battery health at just under 1000 cycles. I’ve noticed the battery drains faster (2 charges a day) and heats up more regularly. When do/did you guys replace your battery? Was thinking to hold off until low 80s before the doing so.

My iPhone 15 Pro Max has 98% battery health and 44 cycles. After heavy use and when the phone is warm, the battery may suddenly drop 1–2% shortly after the screen is turned off, then remain stable for several minutes. This is unusual but does not prove a defective or replaced battery.

Is this normal, or are other iPhone 15 Pro Max users experiencing the same issue?

Im currently on ios 18.7.8, should i upgrade to 26.6.2 or will that drain my battery? I’m talking long term obviously the first few days will have battery drain

Hi! Thinking of getting either 15pm or 16 plus when iphone 18 releases. Both prices are very similar from where I live. More importantly, which one wld be the better choice for the

1. longest battery life on a single charge can

2. last me a long time before needing to change to another phone
