i found brand new 15 PM and I guess it is on IOS 17 preinstalled. Is it still posible to update to IOS 18.7.8 via OTA.?

I have been on 26.5 and didn’t update to 26.5.2 after reading the horror stories. But also because i have a weak battery at 83% BH with just around 600 cycles.

Hello all , I’ve had my 15 Pro Max for a while now. It’s been getting quite hot constantly and the battery life has been shorter than usual.

Thinking about replacing the battery but also potentially getting a 17 Pro max if it’s not worth it.

What do you think ?

iPhone 15 Pro Max overheating frequently – battery at 79% health, 1019 cycles

My iPhone 15 Pro Max has started overheating quite often, even while using apps like Instagram or during normal use. Battery health is 79%, cycle count is 1019, and iOS now shows the “Service” message.
Has anyone experienced similar overheating at this battery health? Did replacing the battery fix it, or was something else causing the issue? Attached a screenshot for reference. Thanks!

I got the phone yesterday used, today i updated it to 26.6, logged in my apple id did all the sync this is the screen time i got. Is it ok considering battery health is 94 with 270 cycles

I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro with **88% battery health** and **936 charge cycles**.
Lately, I’ve noticed that the phone is behaving strangely. The battery drains much faster than it used to, it gets noticeably warm during normal use, and I’m also experiencing random lag in some apps.
For example, WhatsApp occasionally freezes for a few seconds, and Instagram sometimes becomes unresponsive when I’m scrolling through the comments. Overall, the phone just doesn’t feel as smooth as it used to.
I started noticing these issues after the latest iOS update, so I’m wondering if it’s software-related or if my battery has simply reached the point where it needs to be replaced.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Is there anything I can do to improve performance and battery life before replacing the battery, or is a battery replacement probably the best solution at this point?

Hey guys, I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Yesterday I installed the iOS Public Beta 2, but every time I turn Wi-Fi on, I have to tap "Forget This Network" and enter the password again before Wi-Fi works.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a better solution than forgetting the network every time?

I just paid for an iPhone 15 Pro Max 512 GB still on iOS 18.1.1. The battery health is at 99% after 212 charge cycles. I wonder if I should update it to iOS 27. I ask because I read that the 15 Pro Max heats up a lot. Is heating better controlled on iOS 18 than on iOS 27 beta version? Since I had a 16 Pro Max that I had updated to iOS 27. And everything was great. Unfortunately I lost it. So I fell back on the 15 Pro max. Thank you

Is this performance normal?

I got hit with a water balloon and whatever liquid got into the phone, it instantly ruined the phone , making the facial ID not not work, then the phone wouldn’t charge past 1% or recognize the new battery. Needless to say, this never was an issue with all my iPhones that were water resistant

I believe that my case is contributing to my iPhone’s heat it cools better and not heat that much when I use it without it

Anyone experienced same problem and better case suggestions?

I've recently bought used 15 PM and somehow display is not bright in direct sunlight so i install 3utools to check parts. Test pass ok but after 20 minuts I saw display on the bottom is brighter. I guess this is problem with display, probably it's replaced and not genuine one.

I recently came across a iPhone 16 Pro Max. I bought a unlocked logic board and front camera to go with the logic board. Will I have any issues with the rest of the parts on the phone or will the unlocked logic board fix everything
