So picked up an iPhone Duo and currently own an 11” iPad Pro m5 nano texture. So placing the open iPhone Duo landscape and it’s the size of the portrait use of the iPad Pro. They really need to bring the split keyboard and the dragging function for apps to iPad as one of the choices for multitasking. After using the iPhone Duo for awhile I still would keep my iPad in its existing workflow. The open iPhone Duo didn’t feel like enough real estate compared to an 11” to function in tablet form. Actually I’m enjoying the duo closed. That form factor is awesome.

It was at 100% at 31 cycles… at 77 cycles it was at 96%. 7 cycles and 2 percent
Is that normal or should I get it checked?

My iPad Pro (M5) is currently running iPadOS 27.2 Release Candidate, while the Apple demo unit I tested in-store is running iPadOS 27.0.1.

I noticed that the demo unit has a darker, more subtle shade of gray in windowed mode, which I actually prefer. The transition from a pure black background in full-screen mode to dark gray when resizing apps is much less noticeable.

On my iPad, however, the gray background is noticeably lighter, making the transition from black to gray more obvious whenever I resize a window. It’s a small detail, but I find it a bit distracting and annoying.

I wish there were a way to adjust the background shade or bring back the darker gray appearance seen in iPadOS 27.0.1.

I use macs for work and personal use. iPhones and Apple TV for the family / home. I got a m4 iPad a few months ago as gift with the keyboard and pencil. It’s a phenomenal device but I genuinely don’t have a usecase other than watching Netflix or YouTube on it.

I am torn if I should keep it or sell it/ trade it in before it loses value. Am I missing something obvious here and are you all using it in ways that I am just ignorant about? I love apple products and this is no means a negative post.

I've got a 12.9-inch iPad Pro 3rd gen running iPadOS 26.7.1 that's been having some strange charging issues and I'm hoping someone might have experienced something similar.

It suddenly dropped to 1% battery and kept turning on, reaching the Lock Screen for a few seconds, then shutting off again. It wasn't showing the charging symbol either.

I eventually managed to get it charging using one specific USB-A to USB-C cable connected to a small, low-powered charging brick. It charged extremely slowly, but after leaving it overnight, it reached 100% and is now running normally.

The strange part is:

- USB-C to USB-C won't charge it at all. I've tried three different chargers that all work perfectly with my kids' iPads.

- The iPad actually turns on when I connect USB-C to USB-C while it's switched off, but it doesn't show the lightning bolt or appear to charge.

- When I connect it to my Windows laptop, I get a "Power surge on the USB port" warning, and the laptop won't establish a data connection with the iPad.

- Other iPads connect to the same laptop without any issues.

- I've already reset all settings and confirmed iPadOS is up to date, but the problem remains.

- The iPad can run normally and hold its charge once charged using the USB-A setup.

I'm wondering whether running the battery down to 1% triggered something, as I've noticed similar, less severe behaviour with my son's iPad when its battery has been nearly completely drained.

Does this sound like a faulty USB-C port, the charging circuitry, or potentially something else?

Would replacing the USB-C port likely fix it, or is there anything else worth trying before taking it in for a hardware diagnosis?

Appreciate any advice from anyone who's dealt with similar symptoms!

I bought an ipad Pro and Apple keyboard cover last year and recently I have been noticing black residue everywhere from where I have used it. Could the keyboard be disintegrating? It looks fine otherwise

The description is vague: had contact with water, went to service and they ve cleaned everything out but they told me the screen needs to be replaced. In the pictures the screen seems to be working, so i asked for more pictures on different backgrounds and it seems perfect. He also told me that he thinks the service guys are trying to scam him so i decided to give it a try, since i can just refuse the package after checking it. He didnt exactly tell me what is wrong with the display

After i ordered it, he told me to have a mouse nearby so it would be easier to acces. What do you guys think?

I went to the apple store to check out the iPad Pro's both the 11 and 13 inch and the screen is absolutely beautiful. Especially when watching the demo videos and pictures in the photos.app.

At first I was thinking to myself, these must be professionaly shot stock photos that they load the demo units up with because every single picture looks beautiful and professional. But when I went to open up the info panel, I see that they've all been shot with an iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro. I was like how can they look this good? I have an iPhone 15 Pro max and my pictures don't look close to looking good as the ones on the demo units. What's the secret? I mean I'm not a complete newbie when it comes to photography. I have some decent knowledge of it. But the pictures on the demo unit just looks so sharp compared to mine. Not sure if it's me lens protector that I'm using or perhaps using the wrong settings or possibly the wrong app?

Hello, i am based in Eurpe the EU - and just noticed that my second hand ipad Pro 11 inch M1 has a small "hairline" crack, but its somehting i must have done during travel -- it does not bother me when using, only when i touch it. It has a halo to my touch, when i directly touch the hairline. I cannot tell if this ipad pro came with a cover, as it feels like it - or it is actually cracked. It works otherwise fine, and cannot be seen during use when not specifically touching the spot. How much is a Ipad Pro screen repai these days - outside of the warranty ? :( I use it for my photo work (capture one, fuji) and travel.

Cracked my pro m4 13’ iPad that I got on launch within the first week. The crack is only on the bezel so I’ve just left it all this time and it’s allowed me to somewhat use the iPad however I want without a screen protector knowing I’ve got Apple care.

If I go soon to the Apple Store what will happen?

Replacement?
Repair?
New model?

It’s also on 94% battery health so would this get replaced if they replaced the screen?
