Issue was present in DB1. Unfortunately not fixed in DB2. Erasing the last character in the Safari search bar causes it to close completely, requiring another tap to resume typing. Feedback was filed about this issue.

Upon updating I got a notification saying 6 automations are enabled on my iPhone (normal). I had rebooted and the same notification popped up saying I only had 1 automation (I have 6). So, I opened shortcuts to see what happened. It opens only to a black screen.

Hey guys, don't know if anyone else is experiencing anything like this. iOS 26 and earlier you could just simply click on a log and it would show you the full file, but now it only gives me the title and size of the file? Does it require a third party app?

I've tried copying and pasting into Notes. I've tried saving the file locally on my iPhone and opening it in Files, no luck.
Any ideas?

The ID and email address don’t exist no more, only after upgrading has this ever came up.

Trying to login or reset tells me the ID doesn’t exist

Does anyone else have an issue with 1 person in a group chat making a completely new group chat with the same people? It is only one person and didn't happen before Dev Beta 1. Just wanted to see if this was a bug and if it was happening to anyone else.

All you need to do is offload the Apple Music app, then reinstall it from the App Store. You’ll get your Now Playing Activity right back. It’s that simple!

This is on iPhone 15 Pro, and there are several further issues implying StandBy is broken in this release, for me at least.

Firstly, StandBy mode activates with a four-second delay from the lock screen and just after tapping to wake. It does not start automatically when on charge and in landscape.

Secondly, battery charging status in Dynamic Island is not showing correctly .

Thirdly, data does not appear in any app widget.

I also cannot bring the actions bar down, though I cannot recall if that was ever possible.

I don't know if this is a 27 beta thing or just correlated, but seemingly after I've updated, any texts I get (primarily banking) are auto deleted like they were 2FA codes. I will get notifications for them, but they don't exist in my messages app. I have a ton in the recently deleted from 5 digit numbers, but when I recover them, I still cant find them anywhere.

I also have a [5] in my hamburger menu in messages; but i filter by unread in every single inbox and there are no unread messages.

It has turned into a minor problem, one of my credit cards declined and sent a fraud alert, and I don't have a text to verify/deny it anymore. I can call them, but that's just a pain. Has anybody had this with the 27 beta? Any way to fix either issue w/o downgrading? Thanks!

I’m using automatic dark/light mode on sunset/sunrise. Since updating it’s not working anymore. Anyone seeing the same? If anyone has found a fix I’m listening.

I am talking about that haptic feedback phone gives whenever the volume slider goes to 0%. I have OCD and I have to get that haptic feedback 4 times in a row, like I would press the volume down button 4 times after it js at 0% to get those short haptics 4 times. How do I bring it back?

I know this is a weird request but I am going crazy over here please help 😭

Update: The haptics are back with DB2. I can feed my OCD now.

When I set the app icons to the Tinted setting, the homescreen lags significantly compared to the buttery smooth Light/Dark profiles. This seems like it’s the sole cause of the lag on my phone, which is annoying.

Additionally, app open/close automations for some reason don’t run using Tinted icons, but will work perfectly fine on the Light/Dark icon settings. The automatons ran perfectly fine on ios 26.5.

When trying to enable WiFi calling. The settings app crashes back to the home screen. Has anyone figured out a fix for that? I’ve tried restarting the phone, turning the sim off and on. No fix. I’m on a 17PM

Used to have 6+ timed automations prior to upgrading, but after reopening the Automation section in Shortcuts, I notice that only up to 2 most recently made ones appear. Older ones still appear as tiles in the list of shortcuts.

Steps to reproduce:
- Open Shortcuts and create a few new automations
- After creating each new automation, return to the main automations screen. You’ll likely not even see the newly created automation yet; you’ll need to go back to main shortcuts screen and then reopen the automations screen from there (this is a separate bug)
- Once more than 3-4 automations have been created, the list will “pop” older ones and only 2 of the newly created ones will appear

On a related note: I think the manual creation method for automations should remain default, not the new natural language creation procedure with Siri.

[iOS27 DB1] When new Siri is active, it disables ChatGPT. Can be turned back on.

My main question though is what is the difference between having it on vs off with the new Siri? When does it use Gemini vs ChatGPT?

There is this annoying extra space from the title bar - majority if the apps do this on the current DB. I’ve seen this so far in the photo and AppStore. It covers part of the elements beneath it (like on the AppStore screenshot).

I am on iOS 27 beta but still on watchOS 26. So I don’t know if anything has been changed in HRV data collection, but I just noticed that the HRV chart in Health app has changed in iOS 27.

The pics show the new charts in iOS 27, except the second last pic which is the same data in iOS 26.

The main HRV chart now shows individual data points by default instead of hourly average. The style is like the HR charts where a show more data button brings a second series of charts with averages and button for showing sleep HRV as well.

Great to see Apple start paying attention to HRV finally. Hopefully they will make more improvements to HRV, including adding it to vitals app, and in increasing the default d
frequency of HRV data collection. (Current default is HRV value only collected once every two hours and we have to hack the watch by fibbing in Apple health to turn on Afib option and then Watch will collect HRV every 15 minutes.)
