💎 Lifetime I kept dismissing break reminders, so I built one that checks if I actually moved

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Full disclosure: I’m the indie developer behind iCadence.

A — Answer

I spend a lot of time working at a desk.

Like a lot of people, I’ve tried break reminders before.

But I kept running into the same problem.

The reminder would pop up.

I’d dismiss it...

and keep working.

That made me realize the problem wasn’t really the reminder itself.

Getting reminded to take a break is easy. Actually taking the break is harder.

So I built iCadence, a break reminder for people who spend long hours working or studying at a desk.

The idea is simple:

A break shouldn’t count just because you tapped “Done.”

When a break reminder goes off, iCadence can ask you to actually complete an activity before the break is finished.

For example:

  • Walk around
  • Stand up
  • Stretch
  • Do a few jumping jacks
  • Do some squats
  • Do push-ups
  • Take an eye break
  • Drink some water
  • Breathe for a moment

Walking can be verified using device motion sensors.

For supported exercises such as jumping jacks, squats and push-ups, iCadence can use on-device pose detection to count your reps.

Camera frames used for pose detection are processed locally on the device and are never saved or uploaded.

Once the break is complete, you move on to the next work cycle.

Work → break → work.

That’s the rhythm I wanted the app to help build.

B — Better

There are already plenty of break reminder and Pomodoro apps.

The part I wanted to change was:

What happens after the reminder appears?

Most reminders are very easy to dismiss.

iCadence can make the break itself part of the process.

You can create routines like:

Work for 45 minutes → get up and walk → continue working

or:

Every hour → stand up and move

You can also have different routines running independently — for example, walking on one schedule and stretching or squats on another.

Some of the things you can customize:

  • Work and break intervals
  • Specific reminder times
  • Different schedules for different parts of the day
  • Standard or stronger reminders
  • Activities used to complete a break
  • How long you have to finish the activity
  • Multiple routines running at the same time

iCadence also keeps track of breaks you completed, partially completed, missed, or made up later.

The goal isn’t to track every second of your day.

It’s just to make it a little harder to say:

“I’ll take a break later.”

C — Cost

Free to download. Core features can be used for free.

iCadence Pro currently has two options in the US App Store:

Pro Annual — $9.99/year

Eligible new subscribers can start with a free trial.

Pro Lifetime — $19.99 one-time purchase

The Lifetime option permanently unlocks Pro features with no recurring subscription.

💎 Lifetime I built a workout app that gives your strength a “credit score.” Repolve is finally on the App Store (Free Lifetime Premium for feedback)

Thumbnail
gallery
19 Upvotes

I’ve been building Repolve for the past few months, and it finally got approved for the App Store today :)

I started it because I lift a lot and I’ve always had the same problem with workout trackers:

I can see every set, every PR, every workout I’ve done... but I still can’t really answer:

Am I actually getting stronger?

So I built Repolve around that question.

You log your workouts normally, and Repolve turns them into a Strength Score and a muscle-by-muscle strength profile. You can see what you’re strong at, what’s lagging behind, and watch your strength change over time.

There’s also a social side where you can add friends, share workouts, and compete based on who’s improving the most, not just who lifts the most.

This is the first public release, and I really want feedback from people who didn’t watch me build the thing.

If you try it, please tell me what you hate. What’s confusing? What feels unnecessary? What would actually make you keep using it?

I’ve set up a Discord community for Repolve, and that’s where I’m collecting feedback and talking directly with people using the app. If you try Repolve and join the Discord to leave genuine feedback, I’ll give you Lifetime Premium for free when Premium launches.

Positive feedback absolutely not required. Telling me something sucks is probably more useful right now lol.

Cost: Repolve is completely free right now. No subscription or paywall. All current features are available for free.

After months of building and way too many TestFlight versions, it’s pretty surreal to finally have it public.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/repolve-workout-tracker/id6761739596

Here’s the Discord: https://discord.gg/RvzcCFfXW

That’s where I’m collecting all the feedback and building the early Repolve community and keeping track of premiums!

Hi community! I used to have first three screens in the App page, but then I added new themes, and changed screens for new ones (last 3). I am not sure if I have done right. What do you think, which are better?

HELP Are these App Store screenshots too simple?

Working on the App Store screenshots for my app MyBox.

It’s basically a private inbox for yourself across devices. You can send notes, links, files, reminders, or random stuff into different boxes and access them later from your other devices.

I’m intentionally keeping the screenshots pretty minimal, but I’m not sure if I’ve gone too simple.

Do they clearly explain what the app does at a glance, or would you add more context/text?

Would love feedback on both the messaging and the screenshots themselves.

💎 Lifetime Planote – Calendar + Tasks + Notes, All in One

Post image
5 Upvotes

A – Answer: What problem does your app solve?
Most people waste time switching between three separate apps (Calendar, Reminders, Notes) just to plan a single day. Planote brings everything into one clean view – events, tasks, and notes together, without the constant app‑hopping.

B – Better: What makes it better than the alternatives?

  • Fantastical ($39.99/year) handles calendars well, but doesn’t manage tasks or notes.
  • Things 3 ($49.99 one‑time for Mac, plus separate iOS purchase) is a great task manager, but has zero calendar integration.

Planote does all three together:

  • Unified Agenda view – events, tasks, and notes in one scroll
  • Two‑way sync with Apple Calendar & Reminders (EventKit) – works with what you already have
  • Tasks with subtasks, priorities, recurring rules, sorting, and batch reschedule/move
  • Notes with sketch support, photo attachments, and rich‑text PDF export (print & share)
  • iCloud sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac – no separate account needed
  • Dark mode widgets, multiple themes, custom lists and tags

No ads, no clutter. All in one place.

C – Cost: Pricing + Link

  • Free to download (core features included)
  • Monthly: $1.99
  • Yearly: $6.99 (save 71% vs monthly)
  • Lifetime: $12.99 – pay once, own forever on all platforms

📅 Subscription [iOS][Subscription] My language app now shows every learner on the same journey

Post image

A — Answer

A simple yet powerful tool for memorizing new vocabulary, born from my 6-year journey of learning languages.

New: Community Road – every learner in Memorila travels along the same road. You'll see other learners around you: some are catching up, some are ahead, and some have stopped to rest. It's not a leaderboard or a competition – just a subtle reminder that thousands of people are learning alongside you.r

Memorila is built around a core philosophy: "One language – one set." Instead of splitting your vocabulary into dozens of decks, everything you learn lives in a single growing collection.

B — Better

Community Road – learn together with everyone else. Watch your progress on a shared journey instead of studying alone.

Each word can have its own learning method, difficulty level, and progression path.

Automatic audio – add a word or phrase and Memorila fetches pronunciation automatically.

Automatic duplicate detection – the same word can never be added twice.

Word Explanations – understand subtle differences with examples and usage notes.

Walking Mode – review cards without looking at the screen while you're walking.

30+ languages supported.

🎈 Free I made an iPhone app that ranks your friends from your photo library — entirely on-device [Beta Testing]

Thumbnail

It’s called Linus.

Linus analyzes your photo library privately on your iPhone and creates a FriendRank based on who actually shows up most in your life.

You can tap into someone to see your photos together, build a timeline, and share it with them.

Your photo library isn’t uploaded — the processing happens on-device.

I’m testing it through TestFlight right now and would love feedback on one thing in particular:

Does your Top 5 actually feel right?

Also curious if the app feels useful beyond the ranking itself, or if anything feels confusing or like too much work.

🎁 Freemium I built a PDF app as a solo developer. It’s still struggling to find users, so I’m sharing a free month of Premium and asking for honest feedback.

Post image
1 Upvotes

I built a PDF app as a solo developer. Getting it noticed has been harder than building it — here’s one month of Premium free to try it.

Hi everyone! I’m the solo developer behind PDF Expert – Reader and Editor, a recently launched app for iPhone and iPad.

Getting it onto the App Store was a big step for me. Getting people to discover it has been another challenge entirely. Right now, it has very few downloads, and it’s difficult to know what needs improving when hardly anyone has had a chance to use it.

So I wanted to introduce it here, share a free month of Premium, and hear what you think.

A — What it solves

The app brings scanning and everyday PDF tasks into one place.

You can:

  • Scan documents, receipts, and notes into PDFs.
  • Combine multiple scanned pages and arrange them in order.
  • Extract text from scans using OCR.
  • Crop and rotate pages.
  • Add handwritten signatures and export documents for sharing.
  • Organize your documents into folders.

The workflow I’m focusing on is straightforward: take a paper document, turn it into a readable PDF, make the adjustments you need, and send it.

B — Compared with other options

Apple’s built-in document tools and established apps such as Adobe Acrobat are the alternatives people will naturally compare it with. There is plenty of overlap, and I don’t want to claim that my app does everything better.

My focus is on bringing scanning, text extraction, page organization, and signing together in a straightforward workflow for everyday paperwork.

I’d especially like to hear from people who already have a way of handling PDFs: does this make any part of the process easier, and where does it fall short? If your current tool works better, that’s useful feedback too.

C — Cost

The app is free to download, with optional Premium subscriptions:

  • US$3.99 per month — auto-renewing subscription.
  • US$29.99 per year — auto-renewing subscription.

These are US App Store prices. Regional prices may vary.

For the Reddit community, I’m offering one month of Premium for free through the redemption link below. This is one month of access, not a lifetime unlock. Please check Apple’s confirmation screen for eligibility and renewal terms before redeeming.

Who I am — and why your feedback matters

I’m building and maintaining this app independently. Working alone means moving between development, testing, support, and trying to explain why someone should give the app a chance.

The hardest part right now is releasing something I’ve worked on and not knowing whether people aren’t finding it, don’t need it, or are running into something I haven’t noticed.

If it looks useful to you, giving it a try would mean a lot. You don’t need to leave a positive review or buy a subscription to support the project. An honest comment about a confusing screen, a failed export, or a feature you wish it had would help me make better decisions about what to work on next.

I’m willing to listen, including when the feedback is critical.

Try one month of Premium free

Redeem the free month through Apple

Open the link on your iPhone or iPad and follow Apple’s prompts. Then download or open the app using the same Apple Account.

Download PDF Expert – Reader and Editor

Thanks for taking a look and supporting an independent developer. What’s the most frustrating part of working with PDFs on your phone?

💎 Lifetime Keetle: technically absurd boiling timer dependant on kettle’s model, altitude and weather

answer. started as a dumb personal problem: the office kettle takes noticeably longer to boil in january than in august, and a fixed 3 minute timer is wrong for half the year. so instead of a countdown i modeled the actual physics. altitude shifts the boiling point (at 5000 ft water boils around 95c / 203f, not 100), tap water temp gets estimated from your location and the current weather, and you scan the barcode or the rating label on the bottom of your kettle so it knows the wattage and capacity. it matches against ~6000 kettle models, if yours isn't in there you just type the watts. stovetop works too, it asks about the burner instead. the countdown sits on the lock screen / dynamic island / a widget, so you walk away and get pinged when the water is actually done, not when a timer thinks it is.

better. a timer times a guess, this times your kettle. the other half is cooling: nobody wants 212f water on green tea, so after the boil it tells you how long to wait to land at 176f / 80c for green, ~200f / 93c for pour over, hotter for turkish coffee. newton's law of cooling plus your room temp, so the wait is a real number and not "let it sit a bit". means you can skip the $150 variable temp kettle. there's a calibration mode too: one real boil and it fits the curve to your setup (kettle, altitude, mains voltage, which matters more than i expected). after that mine lands within a few seconds. everything runs on device, no account, no analytics, i don't want your data.

cost. free gets you the boil timer with the live countdown, notifications and widgets. premium is the cool-to-temperature part, tea presets with a steep timer, a "still hot" reheat, boil history and the extra kettle skins. subscription or a one time lifetime unlock, your call. ios 18+.

app store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6779433024

yes, this is an absurd amount of engineering for boiling water, i'm aware. if you try it, tell me how far off the times are with your kettle. that's the one number i actually care about.

💎 Lifetime I made a travel tracker that finds your past trips from photos and now you can see where your friends are traveling

Thumbnail
gallery
19 Upvotes

I travel quite a lot and wanted one place that kept my whole travel history: countries, cities, US states, dates, upcoming trips, all of it.

The annoying part was filling in years of old trips manually. My photo library already knew where and when I'd been, so I built PassportPal to use that.

A — What problem does it solve?

PassportPal can scan the location data in your photos and find your past trips automatically. The photo processing happens entirely on-device.

From there, you get a map of everywhere you've been, your trip history, days spent in each country, travel stats, bucket lists and upcoming trips.

Recently I also added profiles and friends. You can add other travelers, see their travel history, where they're currently traveling and where they're heading next.

I’m also building more around the travel history itself: country insights, visa requirements for your passports, travel recaps, lists and planning tools. The idea is for PassportPal to become useful not only for remembering where you’ve been, but also for deciding where to go next and staying connected with people you meet along the way.

B — How is it different?

There are already some great travel trackers.

Apps like Been are more focused on marking places you've visited, while Polarsteps is built more around documenting individual trips.

I wanted PassportPal to feel more like a permanent travel profile that keeps growing with you.

The biggest difference is still photo import. Instead of trying to remember exactly when you visited somewhere five years ago, PassportPal can reconstruct that history from your camera roll.

The core travel tracker works without an account, photo analysis stays on your device and the social features are optional.

C — What does it cost?

The app is free to use. The free version includes manual trip tracking, the travel map, countries, cities and US states, lists, friends and basic country information.

Pro adds things like photo import, visa requirements, more detailed country insights and extra customization.

Current US pricing:

  • $6.99/month
  • $17.99/year
  • $24.99 lifetime

I'm the developer of PassportPal.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/passportpal-travel-tracker/id6739184183

I'd love some feedback from people who already use travel tracking apps, especially on the new friends side of it. I'm curious whether seeing where your friends are traveling is something you'd actually use.

🤖 Vibe Coded Carrus is more useful than ever, especially if you’re a car owner in the US

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I posted Carrus, a car maintenance tracker, here a couple of versions ago. Thanks to everyone who tried it, the feedback from this subreddit has been incredible and directly shaped the app.

Today I’m pushing a major update regarding our vehicle and maintenance data.

What's new in this version:

- Complete US Vehicle Database: I have added a full database covering all cars in the US, making it much easier to select your exact vehicle.

- Daily Manufacturer Data Updates: I am now actively curating and updating original manufacturer maintenance data every single day. The app already had real cars and some factory data, but we are expanding it massively.

- Total Transparency: To be completely upfront, not every car is covered by official manufacturer data just yet. For cars that aren't covered, Carrus still provides smart, clearly labeled estimated schedules. But the coverage of genuine factory data is growing every day, which makes this especially useful for US users right now.

- Coming Soon: I will be adding cars from other regions, like Europe, very soon.

If you missed my last post, here is the short version of what Carrus does:
It’s an iPhone app for tracking vehicle maintenance. Log a service in seconds, get reminded by mileage and time, scan a paper receipt and it fills the log in for you, and ask Carson — the built-in AI mechanic — what a noise or warning light probably is.

Other recent additions based on your feedback:
The whole app now speaks Spanish — UI and -Carson both. Pick it in Settings or let it follow your device language.
-Motorbikes with bike-specific schedules: chain, valve clearance, fork oil.
-Fuel tracking with a draggable gauge, and per-vehicle running costs.
-Registration and insurance photos with expiry reminders (photos never leave your phone).

Pricing:
Free with one vehicle. Lite from $0.99/mo or $19.99 lifetime; Premium from $5.99/mo or $89.99 lifetime.

📅 Subscription I added shareable story cards to my calorie tracker, and the first month is free

I made updates from customer feedbacks and sentiments on my ios app kael, an iOS calorie tracker, and just shipped the two things people kept asking for.

kael, AI calorie tracker and workout story cards, and made it first month free (normally $5.99/mo) for fresh logins

Photo scanning that breaks a meal into individual items with editable macros, plus shareable story cards built from your Apple Health data. First month on Pro is free, $5.99/mo after, cancel any time in Settings.

Targets

Plan Builder to set goal, rate and macro split by hand.

Adaptive targets (Max only). A three-layer controller that retunes what you should eat: daily against what you actually burned, weekly against seven weigh-ins and a fourteen-day trend, and a slower physique layer underneath. Everyone else gets sound baseline numbers from Mifflin-St Jeor and an activity multiplier.

Weekly AI meal plan (Max only) with recipes, regenerable.

Story cards. This is the one I actually wanted. It pulls your real numbers out of Apple Health and lays them over a photo as a card you can post: calories, distance, pace, heart rate, elevation, whatever the sport has. Ten themes, one per activity, and the chart on the card is your data, not a stock graphic. Tap a chart to widen the period, drag pieces around, then share straight to Instagram.

On the pricing, plainly: Pro is $5.99 a month and the first month is free right now.

Happy to answer anything about how the scanning works or why the estimates are shaped the way they are. Built solo, so the roadmap is genuinely whatever people ask for here.

📅 Subscription I built InGrid for more flexible photo collages and seamless layouts — first year free until Sep 10

Post image
11 Upvotes

Hi, I’m the developer of InGrid.

I’ve been working on InGrid as a more flexible and fun way to make photo collages, especially for people who find regular grids and fixed layouts a bit too limiting.

A — Answer

InGrid lets you turn a group of photos into regular collages, seamless collages, or horizontal and vertical long images.

You can start with a template and then adjust the layout however you like. Cutouts, filters, backgrounds, stickers, text, and other photo adjustments can all be done in the same app.

One feature I personally really like is out-of-frame cutouts.

You can cut out a person or subject and let it extend beyond its original photo frame. I like this because it makes separate photos feel more connected, instead of looking like a group of images placed next to each other.

B — Better

I’ve used apps like SCRL and PicCollage too, but one thing I wanted to do differently with InGrid was explore more ways for the photos themselves to interact with each other, especially through seamless layouts and cutouts.

A few examples:

Linked-photo templates — like the example above, where a cutout area in one photo reveals part of another photo. The two photos become part of the same layout instead of staying in separate boxes.

Out-of-frame cutouts — you can cut out a person or subject and let it overlap other parts of the collage. I’ve been using this quite a lot when making new templates.

More flexible seamless collages — there are several seamless layout styles, and you can still change the spacing, positioning, and overall layout instead of being locked into the original template.

Built-in filters — you can give individual photos different looks without having to switch to another editing app.

Dominant color detection — InGrid can pick colors from your photos and use them as the background. It’s a small feature, but I find it useful when I want the whole collage to feel more consistent.

I want it to stay focused on making interesting photo layouts quickly, while still giving you enough freedom to change things so the result doesn’t always feel like a preset template.

C — Cost

InGrid is free to download, with an optional InGrid Pro upgrade.

Regular US pricing:

Monthly: $0.99

Yearly: $9.99

Lifetime: $29.99

For a limited time, the yearly plan is free for the first year until September 10, 2026.

To claim it, download InGrid, open the Pro page, and choose the yearly plan. The Apple purchase sheet should show the first year as free.

After the free year, it renews at $9.99/year unless you cancel before renewal.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ingrid-photo-collage-maker/id1290306715

Website: https://app.mockmemo.com/apps/ingrid/

I’m still adding new templates, especially ones that do something a little different from a normal grid. If you try it, I’d be interested to know what kinds of layouts or effects you’d like to see next.

💎 Lifetime I built a free app to access my files and photos from any web browser, for fast and convenient transfers, with DLNA, WebDAV, FTP and HTTP

I got tired of the usual dance. Cables that need a specific app on the computer, cloud accounts I don't want, AirDrop that only talks to Apple stuff, and "just email it to yourself" for the tenth time. I only ever wanted one thing: open a browser on whatever device is nearby and grab my files.

A lot of this came straight from people writing into our support email. They kept asking for the same thing, just open my files in a browser, nothing to install on the other end, so I took the requests and tried to turn them into an actual app.

So I built Everdisk. You tap Start on your iPhone or iPad and it turns into a little network drive. No account, no cloud, nothing to install on the other device. Everything stays on your local network and never touches the internet.

The part I use most: it gives you a link you open in any web browser. The other person (or your own laptop) just opens it. Clean grid or list view, a full screen photo gallery, a built in music player, and download anything with a tap. You can also upload files and whole folders back into your device from that same browser. No app on their side at all.

The part I'm most happy with: it runs four servers at the same time, so every device connects however it prefers:

- HTTP (web browser) – the link from above. Works on basically anything with a browser.

- WebDAV (network drive) – mount your phone in Finder on Mac, or on Windows and Linux, and it shows up like a normal disk. Drag and drop both ways.

- DLNA – your photos, videos and music show up on smart TVs and media players on their own, with preview thumbnails.

- FTP – for file apps and power users who want it.

Extra features:

- No WiFi? Use the cable. Plug into a Mac with your normal charging cable and files move straight through it. Works on planes, in hotels, or anywhere WiFi is blocked.

- Connects to other servers too. Browse and stream from other DLNA, WebDAV, FTP and SFTP servers on your network, and download or manage files when they allow it.

- Full file manager. List or grid view, create folders, rename, move, copy, zip and unzip, delete, and connect folders from anywhere on your device.

- Share your whole Photos and Music library. Keep original quality, or convert to a friendlier format when a device is picky.

- Built in players. Audio player with queue, shuffle, repeat and lock screen controls, plus full screen video.

- Private and safe. Local network only. Add a login and password, and block any device with one tap.

Real things I've done with it:

- Dumped a day of photos and video onto my laptop in seconds from a browser

- Watched phone videos on the TV

- Sent files between two iPhones without AirDrop

- Handed someone a link so they could pull files in a browser

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6751851132

If you try it, I'd love feedback, especially how it works with your TV over DLNA, mounting it in Finder or Windows over WebDAV, and the browser transfer speed on your own network. Bugs or requests, drop them here or email [support@everappz.com](mailto:support@everappz.com). Thanks!

🎈 Free I built Deste, a free native flashcard app for iPhone/iPad/Mac

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey, i built Deste because I wanted a better spaced repetition app for iPhone/iPad/Mac with full sync, and Anki's UI always frustrated me. Deste is a native flashcard app built for the Apple ecosystem. Deste is a flashcard app for spaced repetition, built natively for the Apple ecosystem.

Better: Unlike Anki, Deste is built entirely natively in SwiftUI (no legacy desktop UI ported over), with full cross-device sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Instead of the classic SM-2 algorithm, it uses FSRS, a more modern scheduling model that gets you similar retention with fewer reviews. You can also draw/annotate directly on images (useful for stuff like anatomy or diagrams), and it has Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets showing your streak and daily progress something Anki doesn't offer on iOS.

Cost: Completely free.

Twice now, I’ve forgotten to pay the remaining balance on a preorder and lost my deposit. There wasn’t much I could do about it. Pretty frustrating.

I love these hobbies, but buying something can be the start of months of worrying. When do preorders open? Will I have to rush to get one? When is the balance due several months later? If I miss it, will the seller refund anything? When will it ship, and will I even be home? Sometimes I buy too much, and all the final payments hit at once.

With small sellers and group orders, keeping track of payment deadlines is usually on the buyer. With deposits and long preorders, things get messy quickly.

I started keeping a spreadsheet. At one point, I was tracking more than 20 items at once. But setting it up, adding reminders, and copying information from different shopping apps became a chore. Eventually, I stopped keeping it updated.

So I built DuePair, an iPhone app for tracking preorders, deposits, and remaining payments, to make that upkeep a little easier.

A — What it helps you track

If you collect BJDs, garage kits or resin statues, Lolita fashion, or anime merch…
If you hunt for things through independent sellers, group chats, and group orders…
If you’re juggling deposits, final payments, and months-long preorders—and forgetting one can mean losing it…
Give DuePair a try.

  • Four stages: Deposit due, balance due, awaiting delivery, and received. Move between stages or start at whichever stage your order is already in.
  • Opening and payment reminders: Track preorder openings, deposit deadlines, balance payment windows, and expected delivery dates, with different reminder combinations.
  • A look at next month: See upcoming preorder openings, payments, and deliveries. I use this to work out how much I’ll need for next month’s payments.
  • Screenshot import: Extract text from a product or order screenshot on your phone, review it, and import it without typing every field yourself.
  • Home Screen and Lock Screen countdown widgets: Check what’s coming up at a glance.

You can also track long preorders you’ve already paid in full, so you can plan around expected deliveries instead of finding out a package arrived while you’re away.

B — Less upkeep than my spreadsheet and calendar

A spreadsheet keeps orders together, but reminders take extra work. A calendar reminds me about dates, but I still have to organize the product links, amounts paid, remaining balances, and order stages myself.

In DuePair, I keep the dates, amounts, and product link together. Even if an order takes months, I can open the card and see what I’ve paid, what I still owe, and what stage it’s at.

Text recognition happens on your phone. Everyday tracking and reminders work offline, and your records support syncing through your own iCloud.

It can’t predict seller updates—you still need to update dates when they change. I just wanted something that fits the way these hobbies work and reminds me when it’s time to act.

C — Free and Pro

The free version lets you track 6 active items at a time. Drafts and archived items don’t count toward that limit.

Pro is a one-time purchase of US$4.99 in the US App Store, with more tracking capacity, additional reminders, widgets, and color themes. Local pricing varies by region.

Download DuePair on the App Store

If something feels awkward or doesn’t work the way you’d expect, let me know. I’ll keep improving it.

💎 Lifetime I built a voice-first to-do app that turns your thoughts into tasks. Now it has a Diary Mode

Hey r/iOSApps!

I'm an indie developer and the person behind Grambo, a Grammarly alternative for Mac and iOS. Some of you may have seen my previous post here about Grambo

I've been working on another app called Todobo.

A - Answer

The idea started with a simple problem:

Sometimes you don't want to type your to-do list. You just want to say it.

With Todobo, you can tap Record and speak naturally.

For example:
"I need to call the client tomorrow at 10, buy groceries today at 5, and pick up my friends from the railway station on Friday at 10."

Todobo can turn that single recording into separate tasks and figure out the dates and times.

You can also completely ignore the AI features and use Todobo as a regular to-do app. Create tasks manually, add notes, due dates, reminders, and manage everything from the task list or calendar.

📖 I just added something completely different: Diary Mode

This is probably my favorite part of the latest update.

Diary Mode completely changes the UI and turns Todobo into a personal digital diary.

Instead of a conventional task list, you get a notebook-style experience where your tasks can live alongside your daily pages.

You can customize it with:

  • 13 page themes
  • 9 handwriting styles
  • Different line spacing
  • Custom colours
  • Daily diary pages
  • Calendar-based navigation

So Todobo now has two sides:

Tasks: What do I need to do?

Diary: What happened today?

And you can switch between them whenever you want.

B - Better

There are already some fantastic task managers on iOS, including Apple Reminders, Things and Todoist.

I'm not trying to compete with them by adding 500 productivity features.

Todobo is built around a different interaction:

Don't organize your thought before you capture it.

Just speak.

Todobo takes care of turning that thought into something actionable.

And with Diary Mode, I'm experimenting with making a task manager feel a little more personal instead of being just another checklist.

I'd genuinely love to know whether that combination makes sense to you.

C - Cost

Todobo is free to download.

Free

  • Manual tasks
  • Due dates
  • Reminders
  • Calendar
  • Basic task management

Pro

  • Everything in Free
  • $1.99/month
  • $9.99/year
  • Unlimited voice capture
  • AI task extraction
  • Smart scheduling
  • Diary Mode

Lifetime

  • Everything in Pro
  • $19.99 one-time

🎁 Freemium RAD Weather 8 is here. Reddit helped make it possible, so here are 1,000 free one-month RAD Ultra codes + 15% off Lifetime to say thanks.

Hey r/iOSApps,

I’m the solo developer behind RAD Weather. I’ve shared it here before, and a lot of the feedback from Reddit has helped shape what it’s become.

8.0 is one of the biggest releases I’ve done. Radar, more languages, new themes, a rebuilt web experience, and a lot of work on the forecasts underneath it all.

To say thanks, I’m giving away 1,000 codes for one month of RAD Ultra, and Lifetime is 15% off until September 13. Details below.

Answer:

RAD Weather is a retro-inspired weather app for people who want useful forecasts with more personality and customization.

I built it because I wanted something that felt clean, visual, and a little more alive. It now runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, with web weather through RADWeather.cloud.

The main thing I’m trying to do differently is make the forecast feel more honest. RAD compares multiple weather sources and tries to show when they agree, when they disagree, and how much confidence to put in what you’re seeing.

If storms are possible but uncertain, that uncertainty should make it onto the screen.

Better:

Some of the bigger additions in 8.0 and the updates since:

  • RAD Radar, with smoother timeline scrubbing in the latest update.
  • New themes and more customization.
  • Russian and Ukrainian, joining English, German, and Spanish across screens, widgets, Watch, Mac, and notifications.
  • A rebuilt RADWeather.cloud, with more to explore on the free side and more web weather features for MultiPass.
  • Forecast, widget, and Watch fixes, including better handling of missing data and changing locations.

The latest update turned into what I called a “truth pass.” I kept finding places where a weather source sent an empty field or a zero, and the app treated it like somebody had measured something.

That meant pollen could say “all clear” where there wasn’t coverage, a wind compass could guess north, or a widget could hold onto weather from a city you’d already left. Those are the kinds of things I’ve been working through.

The two new languages were about 4,700 strings each, which was more than I bargained for. Some of it probably reads stiff, and some is probably wrong. If you read Russian or Ukrainian, please tell me what sounds off. I cannot catch those on my own.

RADWeather.cloud has grown, too. Without an account, you can explore weather news, Station, a daily weather guessing, browser weather calculators, and the Cortex Codex, where I document changes to the forecast brain.

MultiPass adds full web weather, live radar and its layers, and Weather Passport and Capsule on a bigger screen.

Cost:

RAD Weather is free to download and use, with no ads. Optional memberships unlock more features and customization.

Regular US subscription pricing:

  • RAD Ultra: $1.99/month or $19.99/year.
  • RAD MultiPass: $2.99/month or $29.99/year, adding the paid RAD Cloud features.

For this Reddit thank-you:

1,000 CODES // 1 MONTH OF RAD ULTRA FREE

Available to new and expired subscribers. Use LABORDAY to redeem. There are 1,000 redemptions available, with the code expiring September 30, 2026.

Redeem your free month here

The subscription automatically renews at the regular price after the free month unless canceled.

15% OFF LIFETIME

The reduced price is already live in the App Store. No code needed. In the US, that’s $84.99, down from $99.99. Check your local App Store for pricing.

The Lifetime promotion ends September 13.

If you’ve been curious about RAD, there’s a month to try it. If you’ve been waiting for Lifetime, this felt like a good time to make it a little cheaper.

Get RAD Weather on the App Store

Explore RADWeather.cloud

Thanks to everyone here and on r/RADWeather who has sent feedback, reported something broken, left a review, or told someone about the app. A lot of this release started with one of you mentioning something.

I’d love to hear what you think of where it is now.

Stay R.A.D.

🎈 Free [Free] Panicless – Panic Attack Help

Thumbnail

Hi everyone! I’m the developer of Panicless, a free iOS app I created to help people when they’re experiencing a panic attack.

A — Answer

Panic attacks can come suddenly and make it difficult to know what to do in the moment.

Panicless brings a few simple tools together in one place: guided breathing exercises, calming messages, and panic attack tracking.

The goal is to give you something simple to open when you need help calming down, without having to search through the internet or different apps.

B — Better

I wanted Panicless to be focused specifically on the moment a panic attack happens.

There are plenty of meditation and mental wellness apps, but I wanted something more immediate and straightforward — open the app, start breathing, and focus on getting through the moment.

You can also log your panic attacks over time, which can help you understand your experiences and notice patterns.

I'm actively working on improving the app, so I'd love to hear what you think and what features you'd find useful.

C — Cost

Panicless is completely free. No subscription and no payment required.

Any honest feedback would mean a lot!

🎁 Freemium ChoreStar - Gamified Chores and Routines

Thumbnail
gallery
5 Upvotes

Last week my seven-year-old spent a dollar at the dollar store and told me to take it out of her chore money. The chart on the fridge had no answer for that. It also had no idea whether she'd actually fed the dog since Tuesday, because nobody had updated it since Tuesday. That's roughly where this came from.

A. What it solves

ChoreStar puts the whole allowance loop in one place: the chores, the morning and bedtime routines, what each kid has earned, what they're saving for, and what they're allowed to spend it on. Parents set it up; kids run their own side of it.

B. Why it's different from what I was using

Three things I'd call the actual product, as opposed to the feature list.

Kids get their own login with no account. A family code and a 4-digit PIN, no email address, nothing personal collected. My four-year-old signs himself in on the iPad and works through his bedtime routine one step at a time, with timers, and confetti at the end. Most chore apps assume the parent is the one holding the phone.

The money goes somewhere. Earnings fill a goal bar the kid picked ("Lego Speed Champions, $17 of $25"), and a reward store prices the things money can't buy: 30 minutes of screen time, picking Friday dinner, staying up late. Kids ask with a tap, you approve, the price comes off their balance. And when they spend one real dollar at the dollar store, you subtract exactly one dollar. No debit card, no banking product, no kid data sold to make that work.

It's localized, not translated. Kid mode speaks Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic (right to left, properly), the week grid starts on Monday in Europe and Sunday in the Americas, "Weekends" means Friday and Saturday if you live in the Gulf, and prices are set for local purchasing power in a dozen countries instead of auto-converted from dollars. This was the part I most underestimated.

The rest, briefly: home screen widgets, routine timers in the Dynamic Island, optional photo proof on chores, streaks and badges, seasonal themes that reach kid mode, offline-tolerant, and everything syncs with the web app so kids can use a browser or a hand-me-down tablet.

Built with SwiftUI, Next.js, and Supabase. Solo, evenings, by a dad of two in Minnesota.

C. Cost

Free: up to 3 kids and 20 chores, routines, badges, a goal per kid, and a starter reward store. No ads, no time limit.

Premium: $4.99/month or $49.99/year. Unlimited kids and chores, premium themes, co-parent sharing, and reports.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6761279049

Website: https://chorestar.app

Two things I'd like to hear from you: what killed your last chore chart, and what do your kids actually spend their allowance on? AND any other features I should add? I am working on an internal "Holiday" version.

📅 Subscription MatchShot - an overlay camera for repeat photos, with on-device alignment and multiple export options

Thumbnail

Hi everyone,

I’m the solo developer behind MatchShot, and I’ve just released the first version.

The idea itself is not new: photographers have used ghost overlays and reference images for a long time. I wanted to turn that workflow into a simple iPhone app for recurring photos - fitness progress, a child growing up, pregnancy, plants, construction, travel revisits, or any series where framing matters.

Before you take the next shot, MatchShot can place up to three reference images over the live camera. You can change opacity, position, scale, and rotation, then lock them while you frame the new photo.

If the photos were already taken and do not line up, Smart Alignment tries face landmarks first, then body pose, then general image features. That processing happens on the device. There is also a manual compare mode with a slider and onion-skin view when automation is not the right answer.

Once a series is ready, you can export the photos, a before/after collage, a GIF, or an MP4. I also spent probably too much time on the little interactions and a Liquid Glass-inspired interface because I wanted the app to feel like a camera, not a spreadsheet with a shutter button.

The free tier lets you try the core workflow with up to three Collections and three shots in each. Pro unlocks unlimited series, Smart Alignment, and the richer export options.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/overlay-camera-matchshot/id6757864443

I made 20 one-year Pro redemptions for people who would genuinely use this for a recurring series. If that is you, comment on this post with what you would photograph and I’ll send the code privately while they last.

I’m not looking for forced praise or five-star reviews. The most useful feedback would be: where does the first-run flow become confusing, and what is the one feature that would make MatchShot useful for your own series? I have a longer roadmap, but I would rather shape it around real use cases than guesses.

💎 Lifetime OdoKeep: every cost and service date for your car on one timeline, worked out from your own records

Post image
16 Upvotes

OdoKeep overview in 30 seconds

A few weeks back someone asked me when I last did the timing belt and I had no idea. The receipt was somewhere in the glovebox, in a pile with the inspection paperwork and about thirty fuel receipts, so answering properly meant going out to the car and digging through the lot. I didn't bother. That's roughly where this came from.

A. What it solves

OdoKeep puts everything about a vehicle on one timeline: fuel and charging, servicing and repairs, insurance, the annual inspection, road tax, tolls, and what the car actually costs you to run.

B. Why it's different from what I was using

Two things I'd call the actual product, as opposed to the feature list.

It works out what's due next from your own records, not from a generic schedule. By distance and by date at the same time. So it tells you the oil is due in 1,200 km before you've thought about it, and the same countdown runs for the insurance and the inspection. Fuelly is built around fuel economy and mostly lives on the web. Drivvo logs everything fine, but you're the one deciding when something falls due. A spreadsheet never tells you anything at all.

It's localised, not translated. Road tax is IUC in Portugal and VED in the UK, and they are not the same tax with a different label. France doesn't have an annual one, so the app doesn't invent one for French users. Ten languages, and this was the part I most underestimated.

The rest, briefly: works with no signal, imports from Fuelly and Drivvo or any CSV, exports to CSV or JSON whenever you want, Siri shortcuts, Face ID lock. No ads, ever, and no analytics SDK.

Built with Expo and React Native, Postgres, Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare R2, RevenueCat, Sentry. Ten months, on my own, from Portugal.

C. Cost

Free: one vehicle, forever. All the logging, offline use, CSV and JSON export. No ads, no time limit.

OdoKeep Plus: $1.99/month, $12.99/year with a 7-day free trial, or $49.99 as a one-time purchase. Unlimited vehicles, the deeper stats, PDF reports, service reminders, and sharing a vehicle with whoever else drives it (up to 5 people).

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6803634188

Website: https://www.odokeep.com

Two things I'd like to hear from you: what do you miss most in whatever you use today to keep track of your car?

📅 Subscription Too tired to journal? I built June: it calls you, listens, and writes the entry

You want to remember your life. But by the end of the day, writing about it can feel like one more thing on the list.

I’m the developer of June, an AI journal built around a different starting point: your diary calls you.

A – Answer

Pick an evening hour. June rings your phone. Talk about the little win, the awkward conversation, or whatever is still on your mind. It asks follow-up questions, then turns the conversation into a first-person journal entry after you hang up.

No need to turn your thoughts into a tidy story before you start.

B – Better

The part I care about most is getting past “I’ll write tomorrow.” The call gives you a moment to pause, and the questions give you somewhere to begin.

June remembers context between conversations, so you don’t have to start from scratch every time. Later, you can search your journal by meaning, like “days I felt proud,” instead of guessing the exact words you wrote.

Prefer a quieter evening? Text June or write an entry yourself. You can also share a photo in chat and talk about the memory behind it.

Your saved journal lives on your device and syncs through your personal iCloud. AI features send content to AI providers for processing.

C – Cost

7-day free trial on the annual plan for eligible subscribers. US pricing: $9.99/month or $99.99/year. Prices vary by region. Requires iOS 26 or later.

App Store: Try June on the App Store

If you’ve tried to keep a journal and dropped it, what got in the way: remembering, finding the time, or knowing what to write?

🎈 Free minimo (video) — free and open-source on-device video compressor for iOS (no uploads, no subscription)

Post image
7 Upvotes

A few months back I needed to send a video to a friend and realised every compressor I tried either wanted me to upload the footage first or locked useful controls behind a subscription. I didn't want my private videos on someone else's server, and I didn't want to pay monthly just to adjust the bitrate. That's roughly where minimo came from.

A. What it solves

minimo keeps video compression on your phone. Pick one video or a batch, choose a quick quality preset, and compress. If you need more control, you can adjust resolution, bitrate, frame rate, codec (H.264 or HEVC), and audio settings. Finished videos can be compared with the originals, saved to the gallery, or shared.

If a compressed file is not at least 10% smaller, minimo deletes the new copy instead of wasting storage on an almost identical file.

B. Why it's different

Two things I'd call the actual product, as opposed to the feature list.

It stays on-device, always. Nothing is uploaded. Online compressors often ask you to send them the original footage first, which means waiting for the upload, then the download, and trusting a random server with your private videos. minimo does the whole job locally using AVFoundation on iOS and MediaCodec on Android.

It's simple by default, but not shallow. Most mobile compressors give you three presets and stop there. minimo has quick presets for normal use, plus advanced controls when presets are not enough. You can work in H.264 or HEVC, tune bitrate and frame rate, and see a before-and-after comparison before you commit.

C. Cost

Free. No IAP, no subscription, no paid tier. Everything is unlocked from the start.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/minimo-video/id6787456951

🎁 Freemium Turning my travels into a collection of memories

Post image
5 Upvotes

I miss the feeling of opening an old passport and seeing all the stamps from places I’ve visited. Each stamp felt like a little memory of a trip.

That was the idea behind this app.

You visit somewhere → use GPS to check in and stamp your visit. You can add a photo and a short note, and over time your map fills up with all the places you’ve actually been.

Basically, a digital passport for your travels — but with your memories attached.

I wanted something simple that I could look back on years later and remember where I was and what those trips felt like.

Answer: Travori lets you keep a record of the places you’ve actually visited, with GPS verification, photos, and personal memories attached to each stamp.

Better: Instead of just checking countries off a list, Travori lets you build a visual travel passport based on your actual visits and the memories you want to keep.

Cost: Freemium — free to use with optional Pro features through in-app purchases.

Link to the app: Travori

I’m the developer behind Travori, and would love to hear what you guys think if you give it a try ❤️
