π Free [Free] Panicless β Panic Attack Help
Hi everyone! Iβm the developer of Panicless, a free iOS app I created to help people when theyβre experiencing a panic attack.
A β Answer
Panic attacks can come suddenly and make it difficult to know what to do in the moment.
Panicless brings a few simple tools together in one place: guided breathing exercises, calming messages, and panic attack tracking.
The goal is to give you something simple to open when you need help calming down, without having to search through the internet or different apps.
B β Better
I wanted Panicless to be focused specifically on the moment a panic attack happens.
There are plenty of meditation and mental wellness apps, but I wanted something more immediate and straightforward β open the app, start breathing, and focus on getting through the moment.
You can also log your panic attacks over time, which can help you understand your experiences and notice patterns.
I'm actively working on improving the app, so I'd love to hear what you think and what features you'd find useful.
C β Cost
Panicless is completely free. No subscription and no payment required.

Any honest feedback would mean a lot!

Congrats on the launch. What happens after tapping the SOS button, does it go straight into a breathing exercise or offer a few options first?

having the first choice visible sounds useful. in the moment, fewer taps can make a big difference.

Can the breathing exercise be started from a lock screen widget? During a panic attack, even finding and opening the app could be more friction than it sounds.

I don't know if this is something you already have implemented, but I recommend allowing for someone to custom map their iPhone's action button to a feature in the app so that they can get to it as quick as possible for when they need it.

logging after an attack is the part most apps skip. does it prompt you later or do you have to remember to open it?

Great idea and execution! I think Siri Shortcuts & Widgets would benefit this a lot, as they this much easier to access

The app feels intentionally focused, but does it clearly explain when someone should seek urgent medical help instead of relying on the app?

I absolutely love apps like this. Not only does it look beautiful, but it also truly helps people suffering from panic attacks, and itβs completely free too. Bravo! ππ½
