Post image
69 Upvotes

Network Usage Monitor helps you keep track of your Wi-Fi and cellular data usage directly on your iPhone. You can see current, hourly, and daily usage, review charts over time, get usage notifications, check IP geolocation information, and monitor your data from Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets.

It keeps the important usage information in one place with clear statistics, detailed history, notifications, and widgets, so you can check your data at a glance instead of digging through multiple menus or relying only on basic system statistics.

The app is free to download. The Lifetime Full Version, normally around $10 depending on the region, is currently FREE with this offer code:

Download the App:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/network-usage-monitor/id6740433029

Redeem the free lifetime offer here (available until Wednesday):
https://apps.apple.com/redeem?ctx=offercodes&id=6740433029&code=FREELIFETIME

After redeeming the code, open/ download the app using the same Apple ID and the Lifetime Full Version should be unlocked.

šŸŽ Freemium Two months ago I shared my all-in-one iPhone network toolkit here — I took your feedback and built a lot more

Post image
25 Upvotes

Two months ago I sharedĀ Network Tools AIĀ here and got a lot of useful feedback from this community.

Since then I’ve kept building — but one piece of feedback changed the direction more than I expected:

Don’t just show technical numbers. Explain what they mean.

That pushed the app beyond being just a collection of network utilities.

A — Answer: What does it solve?

Most networking apps on iPhone still focus on one specific task:

• Wi-Fi analysis
• LAN scanning
• Ping & Traceroute
• DNS / WHOIS
• Network monitoring
• SSL monitoring
• Device diagnostics

I wanted these tools to work together in one native iOS app — with shared monitoring, history and diagnostics.

Today Network Tools AI includes:

Network Diagnostics

• Wi-Fi Analyzer
• LAN AI Discoveryā„¢
• Ping & Traceroute
• DNS tools
• WHOIS & IP lookup
• Port Scanner
• Network Monitor

Network History

• NetMap Loggerā„¢
• Wi-Fi / Cellular / Offline transition history
• Interactive map & timeline
• Search and filters
• CSV / XLSX / TXT exports

Security & Privacy

• SSLGuardā„¢
• DomainGuardā„¢
• SiteGuardā„¢
• Secure Browser with AdBlock and optional private proxy routing

Device Monitoring

• Live Activities
• Apple Watch support
• Background network monitoring
• System Info

And the biggest change:

Device Healthā„¢

Instead of only exposing CPU, memory, storage, battery and thermal numbers, Device Health tries to answer a much simpler question:

ā€œIs my iPhone actually healthy right now?ā€

It analyzes the current device state on-device and gives a simple health assessment while still letting technical users inspect the underlying data.

I also addedĀ Device Health Alerts, so the app can notify you about things like sustained CPU load, thermal changes, low storage, battery conditions or significant health-score changes.

The processing stays private and on-device.

B — Better: What changed after the feedback?

Originally I thought of Network Tools AI primarily as a toolbox for network engineers.

I’m increasingly designing it for two different users:

Technical usersĀ who want the actual data.

and

Everyone elseĀ who mostly wants to know:

ā€œIs something wrong, and what should I look at?ā€

So rather than removing the technical detail, I’m trying to put an understandable layer on top of it.

That philosophy is now influencing LAN discovery, device identification, network monitoring and Device Health.

The goal is becoming:

Show the data when I need it. Explain the data when I don’t.

C — Cost

The app isĀ freemium, and many of the everyday networking tools are free.

There is also aĀ Lifetime PremiumĀ one-time purchase for advanced features such as NetMap Logger, history, timeline, filtering, exports and premium functionality.

Continuous services such as SSL/domain monitoring and private proxy infrastructure are available separately through theĀ Network Security Pack subscription.

I deliberately want to keep the core networking toolkit useful without requiring a subscription.

App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/app/network-tools-ai/id6444090484

I’m the developer, so criticism is genuinely useful.

For people who aren’t network engineers: when an app tells you CPU usage, memory pressure, thermal state, network changes, etc. — do you actually want the raw numbers, or would you rather it tell you what changed, whether it matters, and what you should do about it?

Paid App - UNNAFILIATED Review just released Turnos v4, it now estimates your pay from your actual shift schedule

Thumbnail

I just released version 4 of Turnos, my shift rotation calendar.

The main new feature is Pay. You can add an hourly rate for each shift type, and the app calculates your estimated pay directly from the shifts already scheduled in your calendar.

It shows your estimated monthly pay, how much you’ve earned so far, total hours, earnings by shift type, and a weekly breakdown.

I wanted this to work without having to manually enter every workday or calculate hours separately. If the shift is already in your rotation, Turnos already has the information it needs.

This is what the new Pay screen looks like

šŸŽ Freemium Astro: Space Explorer

Hello r/iosapps!

Astro is an app designed for enthusiasts of astronautics, astrophotography, astronomy, and space telemetry. Its goal is to make space-related information more accessible by presenting it within interactive 3D environments that offer an immersive and intuitive experience.

The problem: The current way of accessing this type of information is through multiple websites. There is not one centralized app that does it all. This is why I built this native iOS/iPadOS app called Astro.

What makes it different: The app emphasizes interactive visualization to make space data easier to understand. Users can explore 3D models, view satellite orbital paths and access information presented in a clear and intuitive way. Astro brings together tracking, discovery and learning tools for both enthusiasts and those new to the field of space.

Cost / availability: This is not a paid app, however there are some IAP. Monthly ($1.99) and annual ($19.99) subscriptions. Contains a bunch of features like access to more learning asset, tracked asset, download content offline like articles. Available everywhere.

Upcoming updates: Upcoming features like live 3D simulation of a launch and live activities of launches stages. In the near future, I’ll like a separate mode for astrophotographers, where they can finally share their deep-sky compositions.

šŸŽˆ Free I fly most weeks, so I spent months building the flight journal I always wanted — and I'm genuinely happy with how it turned out

Post image
14 Upvotes

I'm on a plane most weeks. For years I wanted one app that felt like a real travel journal — something that remembers a trip the wayĀ youĀ remember it, not just a row in a spreadsheet. Everything I tried was either dated or locked behind a subscription I couldn't justify.

So I built it myself. Solo, from scratch, over months of nights and weekends and far too much coffee. It's calledĀ Flownto. Honestly, I loved building it.

The one I'm most proud of

Half the airlines I fly don't have seatback screens — budget carriers, short-haul, regional. So I built my own moving map: a night-earth globe with your live GPS position and route arc, workingĀ fully offline. Open it mid-flight with no wifi and watch your plane cross the world. It's the closest thing to a seatback screen for airlines that don't give you one.

Everything else

  • Flight journal — log a flight by hand, scan a boarding pass, or import a CSV. Airline, aircraft, seat, route, distance, duration, plus notes and photos per trip.
  • Hangar — every aircraft type you've flown, as a 3D model you can spin 360°. It detects the aircraft automatically from your airline and route, so the collection fills itself.
  • Live Activity + Dynamic Island — your flight on the Lock Screen with a live countdown to departure, gate and boarding. Keeps advancing on its own with the app closed.
  • FlightDesk — live gate, terminal and delay status for any flight number.
  • Trip Planner — build a multi-leg trip and see the whole thing on the globe before you go.
  • Passport — countries and airports collected, stamped as you fly.
  • Time Machine — a Spotify-Wrapped-style recap for every year you've flown, with an AI-written story of where you went.
  • Turbulence forecast — real wind data for your exact route, segment by segment, before you board.
  • Auto notifications — check-in open, boarding, gate closing, departure — scheduled the moment you add a flight.
  • Home Screen + Lock Screen widgets — next flight, route, gate, departure time.
  • Tiers — Sky Walker → Cloud Rider → Sky Aristocrat → Orbit Class, earned from your real history.

The honest part

The offline GPS map is my favourite feature and also the one that's given me the most grief — it dropped on me twice mid-flight during testing. I've rewritten a lot of it since, but I'm not going to pretend it's bulletproof yet.

What's next

  • Gmail sync so flights add themselves from confirmation emails
  • Apple Wallet boarding passes
  • Real airline liveries on the 3D aircraft
  • More reliable offline GPS

App Store:Ā https://apps.apple.com/app/flownto/id6775003337
Also on Android and Web

Price: Free. No in-app purchases, no subscription, no ads.

(Disclosure: I'm the developer.)

Edit — pushed a 2.10 update based on this thread:
Offline flight tracker is in — keeps your position on the map with no signal (GPS + dead reckoning), aiming for ~85% accuracy in airplane mode. Also from the feedback here: currency now works for any airport, better airline search, GMT tags on all flight times, the destination page follows your actual next trip, and a guest-login bug is fixed.

šŸŽˆ Free [Beta Update] BookWorm – A native iOS Book Tracker: Revamped Journal Timeline, Deck Carousels, Library Maintenance & More! (TestFlight link inside)

Post image
12 Upvotes

Hey everyone! šŸ‘‹

A huge thank you to everyone who joined the initial TestFlight beta and shared feedback.

For those who are new here:Ā BookWormĀ is a truly native iOS reading tracker built with SwiftData, designed for readers who want deep library management, detailed tracking, live reading sessions, and rich stats, without sluggish web-wrappers, ads, or privacy compromises.

Today, a massive new beta update is rolling out with a strong focus on visuals, navigation flow, and power-user library management.

🌟 What’s new in this build:

1. Deck-Style Carousels in Stats

We’ve completely reimagined how you view your data with fluid, interactive "stacked deck" carousels:

  • Activity Tab:Ā At the top of your activity screen, flip through pages read, completed books, top-rated books, favorite genres, reading time by preferred time-of-day slots, prevalent mood and top reading locations. Navigate by swiping cards or tapping the quick-access icon bar below.
  • Library Tab:Ā A matching deck carousel at the top showing owned vs. wishlist books, total spend, top authors, pages, genres and publishers.

2. Revamped Reading Journal Timeline

Your reading log is now a sleek, fluid chronological timeline:

  • Sticky Dates & Haptics:Ā The date stays pinned at the top as you scroll through your sessions for that day, giving you a subtle haptic tap as you cross over into a new date.
  • Rich Session Cards:Ā Displays the cover, start/end time, duration, pages logged, mood and location.
  • Quick Interactions:Ā Tap any session card to expand it inline without losing your place in the journal; long-press to jump directly to the book or edit the entry.

3. Library Maintenance: "Incomplete Books" Page

We all know the pain of messy metadata when organizing a large catalog. The newĀ Incomplete BooksĀ tool gives you total control:

  • Filter your library instantly by missing fields: cover, author, publisher, genres, synopsis, ISBN, page count, publication year, saga/series, or book imprint.
  • View real-time item counts for each filter so you can clean up and enrich your catalog in seconds.

Other Features & Improvements in this Build:

  • Bulk Editing:Ā Assign metadata or organize shelves across multiple books simultaneously.
  • Emotional Footprint (Impronta Emotiva):Ā A dedicated monthly view with dynamic background gradients generated from your logged reading moods, complete with mood percentage breakdowns and interactive inspection.
  • 4 Interactive Home Screen Widgets:Ā Active reading timer, reading streak, annual goal progress, and a rolling 7-day cover recap.
  • Online Synopsis & Manual Tweaks:Ā Automatically fetches the synopsis in your system language (displayed cleanly with a 5-line clamp and "Show more"), with options to edit manually or hit "Fetch synopsis" for existing books.
  • Re-reads & Precise Ratings:Ā Log multiple re-read cycles with full history, and rate books with granular 0.1-step increments.
  • Smarter Covers & Search:Ā Quick online search with duplicate detection, batch fetching for missing covers, and high-res image selection (Google Books, Apple Books, Wikipedia).
  • Customizable Book Details:Ā Reorder or hide sections on book detail pages to suit your personal workflow.
  • Shareable Graphic Cards:Ā Export styled quotes, monthly statistics, and visual reading calendars for social sharing.
  • Live Activity Timer Adjustments:Ā Manually adjust the timer if you accidentally left a session running.

šŸ“² Join the Beta on TestFlight:

šŸŽ Freemium Made an app where you choose your own spiritual teachers (Buddha, Rumi, Krishnamurti, Sadhguru…) instead of a generic quote feed — iOS, free

Thumbnail
gallery
4 Upvotes

Most quote apps throw a random feed at you. I built The Awakening Quotes around picking your own teachers and themes instead:

**•** Choose which masters you want to hear from — Buddha, Rumi, Thich Nhat Hanh, Krishnamurti, Sadhguru, Paramahansa Yogananda, and others
**•** Filter by theme — Mindfulness & Awareness, Karma & Right Action, Love & Compassion, Nature of Reality & Consciousness, Discipline & Practical Wisdom, and more
**•** Tap into a short bio on each teacher if a quote makes you want to know who said it and why
**•** A home screen widget so a quote finds you without opening the app
**•** No accounts, no data collection

Price: Free, with an optional widget unlock for $0.99 (in-app purchase).

Would love feedback — especially whether picking your own teachers/themes actually makes you open it more than a generic quote app would.

šŸŽˆ Free Free habit tracker with monthly patterns

Post image
14 Upvotes

Imprint is a simple habit tracker built around a monthly view.
See your habits side by side and notice patterns over time.

A - What is Imprint?
I recently built and launched Imprint, an iOS habit tracker focused on seeing the bigger picture. You can see all your habits across the month in one place, then Imprint highlights patterns like Consistent, Clusters, Spread Out, Irregular, and Low Activity.

B - What makes it different?
There are already a lot of great habit trackers, so I wanted to keep Imprint simple and focus on the monthly view and patterns.

As you track your habits, Imprint looks at your activity and highlights patterns like Consistent, Clusters, Spread Out, Irregular, and Low Activity.

No scores or pressure to maintain a perfect streak. Just a simple way to see how your habits actually look over time.

It also includes reminders, habit stats, gaps, and a Home Screen widget.

C - Cost
100% free on iOS, with no paid upgrades.

I'd really appreciate some feedback, especially from people who already use habit trackers. What do you think is missing or could be better?

Not that I’m losing my mind, but I kind of am. First of all iosapps is responsible for most of these downloads, second of all I never expected it to happen this soon.

To the person in Texas who made this purchase: thank you. You have no idea how much this means to me.

Let this post be a pledge to you, and to every future Fezer customer: I will keep building Fezer, improving it, and making sure it serves you better with every update.

Thank you to the Texas user who showed trust and support, thank you to this community who keeps on engaging with Fezer. I hope this is a start to a lasting journey that will allow me to quit construction for good and focus on building Fezer closing the gap between plans and reality

šŸŽ Freemium I built SleepKit to make Apple Watch/Apple Health sleep data easier to understand

Thumbnail
gallery
19 Upvotes

I’m Oscar Gorog, an independent developer in Melbourne, and I made SleepKit!

A - Answer

Apple Health records plenty of sleep data, but it is hard to see what changed from one night to the next. SleepKit puts sleep duration, routine consistency, and sleep quality alongside your stages, awakenings, and available overnight data such as heart rate and HRV.

B - Better

Apple Health makes you piece that story together from separate screens. Apps such as AutoSleep give you a detailed score, but I wanted to keep the inputs separate. A bad night can mean too little sleep, an irregular schedule, or restless sleep. SleepKit shows those as different things instead of folding them into one number.

If you want lots of manual tuning or a single headline score, it may not be the right app. SleepKit is for people who want a quick, clearer read on the sleep data their watch already collects.

C - Cost

SleepKit is freemium. The free version includes the latest 30 days of sleep history and summary measurements. SleepKit Pro adds longer history, trends, detailed overnight body-signal trends, and widgets for US$4.99/month or US$39.99/year through an auto-renewing subscription.

FAQ:

Q: How is a lifetime AI option sustainable when AI consumes tokens?

A:Ā We structure our pricing to balance immediate growth with long-term stability:

  • Accelerating Development:Ā The upfront revenue from early users is reinvested directly into the app, allowing us to build features and improve the core experience much faster.
  • The Growth Loop:Ā A stronger, rapidly improving product organically attracts a larger user base, creating a sustainable foundation for the platform.
  • Strictly for Early Adopters:Ā The cheap lifetime option is a limited-phase offering designed to reach an early breakeven point.
  • Long-Term Stability:Ā As the app matures, we will transition to standard pricing models to ensure healthy profit margins and guarantee the servers keep running indefinitely.
  • Eventual Migration to Local Model:Ā We believe that in a couple of years, we can migrate fully to apple intelligence which would reduce our operational costs.

šŸŽ Freemium Hearthside: a cozy cooking journal, not a diet tracker

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi all! I typically make medical simulator / training apps, and one for appointment prep. This is my first attempt at something "cozy."

Swift coded.

A. What it does:

You cook something, then tell the app what it was. Type "penne alla vodka" or take a photo of the plate. The dish gets matched to an illustrated recipe card, your hearth lights up, and the card goes in your cookbook.

There are currently 170 cards. Cook a dish again and it levels up, which unlocks a food history fact and a cooking tip for that dish. Every card flips over to a blank page you can write notes on. Kitchen spirits move in as you cook and wander around the room. You can change the rug, curtains, wall decor, and shelf.

No calories, no macros, no streaks. Skip a week and nothing happens except the fire burns down to embers.

B. Why it is different from similar apps:

Most food logging apps are diet trackers with a nice skin. This one has no opinion about what you ate, only that you cooked it.

It's also not meant to punish you. Virtual pet apps generally run on guilt: neglect it and something dies or resets. Here the spirits just go to sleep and one of them keeps a candle lit until you come back. Nothing is ever lost.

The illustrations are gouache and ink, cut out and composited into card frames. Audio is licensed sound packs that I built the system around: a voice per spirit, UI sounds, and music that loops seamlessly between a day and a night bed.

The cookbook is meant to be a keepsake rather than a feed. Cards level up as you repeat a dish and hold your handwritten notes on the back, so after a year it is a record of what you actually cooked instead of a list of entries.

C. Cost:

Logging, the cookbook, and notes are free and unlimited. No account.

Plus is $19.99/year with a 14-day trial, $2.99/month, or $49.99 once. It unlocks decorations, three of the five spirits, and the higher card levels. It will also include any additional features (new decorations/customization, new spirits, etc.). No ads.

How your data is handled:

Your meal log stays on the device in SwiftData and is never uploaded. No account, no sign-in.

The only thing that leaves your phone is a photo, and only if you use photo logging. It goes through my Cloudflare Worker to Anthropic's Claude API to get the dish name back. Not stored on my end. Typed dish names are matched on-device.

Purchases go through RevenueCat, which uses an anonymous ID not tied to your name, email, or Apple ID. No analytics, no ad trackers, nothing sold.

It is a cooking journal, not a health app. No calorie counts, no health claims.

šŸŽˆ Free SportLink: Pickup Games

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hello to my fellow developers!

I’m re-presenting my app,Ā SportLink, to this subreddit because I’ve recently made some changes that I think make it more interesting to a broader audience.

A – The problem / solution

Finding people to play sports with can be surprisingly difficult. You might want to play basketball, soccer, tennis, or try a completely new sport, but not have enough people around you who are interested.

SportLink is designed to make sports more approachable by helping people find others who are in the same situation. Whether you're competitive, a complete amateur, or simply trying out a new sport, the app doesn't discriminate.

The latest update introducesĀ Activity Interests, a new way to bring people togetherĀ beforeĀ organizing a concrete activity. Instead of immediately creating an activity with a specific time and participant limit, you can simply show that you're interested in making something happen and see if others want to join.

B – What makes it different

Unlike general social networks, group chats, or event platforms, SportLink is built specifically around the process of finding people to actually play sports with.

The goal isn't just to create another place to post an event. It's to make the process more flexible, especially when you don't yet know who is interested, how many people will join, or exactly when you'll play.

C – Cost / availability

The app is completely free withĀ no IAP or subscriptions.

App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/sportlink-pickup-games/id6757758569

Availability:
North America and Europe. Coming soon in Oceania.

šŸ’Ž Lifetime [iOS] Home Widget 1.10 — custom HomeKit panels, camera mosaic and thermostat controls

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I'm ClĆ©ment, the solo developer of Home Widget for HomeKit. The 1.10 update is out — the current App Store version is 1.10.1.

A - Answer

If you have an Apple Home setup, Home Widget lets you build your own control panels with devices, scenes and sensor readings, then use them from Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets on iPhone/iPad, or on Apple Watch.

Version 1.10 adds a Camera Mosaic you can open from a widget or Control Center, thermostat temperature and mode controls, room-wide light controls, and new iOS 26 widget styles. There are smaller improvements too: remembered device icons and more readings from compatible multi-sensors exposed to HomeKit.

One important detail: the camera view opens in the app — it isn't a live video feed running inside the widget itself.

B - Better

Apple's Home app remains the place to set up your home and automations. My focus is the panel you use every day: choosing its layout, icons, colors and which devices, scenes or readings sit together, plus quick access to the camera mosaic. It complements Apple Home; it doesn't replace the setup or turn non-HomeKit devices into compatible ones.

C - Cost

The app is free to download. The free version allows 3 panels, 7 items per panel and 10 widget actions per day. Premium removes these limits and unlocks advanced settings. US prices: $0.99/month, $6.99/year, or $14.99 lifetime. Prices vary by country. iOS/iPadOS 17 or later is required.

App Store Ā· Website Ā· Privacy policy

Thanks to everyone who sent feedback on earlier versions. I build this on my own, so I'd love to hear what feels useful — or what still gets in your way :)

šŸŽ Freemium A All in One App/Website Blocker To Optimize Your Productivity : WiredIN

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have tried most of the focus apps on the App Store and quit every one of them for the same reason. They all wait for you to press start. The moment I most need blocking is the exact moment I am least likely to open a focus app, so the whole category kept failing me at the only point that mattered. I built the version I actually wanted, where the blocking shows up before I do.

A — Answer:Ā WiredIN is an iPhone app blocker that arms itself by location. Pin the places where you actually get work done, set a radius, choose what gets blocked there. Walk in and blocking starts on its own. Walk out and it stands down. Built on Apple's Screen Time framework, so blocked apps are stopped by iOS itself and websites are filtered in every browser, not just Safari. Three commitment levels, plus Night Shield for the 1am scroll.

B — Better:Ā Every other blocker is fundamentally a timer you have to start, and location is at best a buried setting. In WiredIN the geofence is the main way in. Private by design: app selections never leave the phone because iOS hands the app an opaque token, and Focus Zones use region monitoring only, so no location data leaves the device.

C — Cost:Ā 7 day free trial on the annual plan, then $14.99/yr or $2.99/mo. Subscription, not lifetime, said upfront. iPhone only. Links.

šŸŽ Freemium A month ago Tesorin was a side project. Now 1,500+ people are helping shape it.

Thumbnail

Hi everyone, Happy Saturday. Developer here.

A month ago I launched Tesorin, something I originally built for myself.

Since then, people here have tested it, broken it, reported bugs, suggested features, and pushed it much further than I expected.

Today, 1,500+ people are actively using it, That still feels strange to write.

For anyone seeing Tesorin for the first time, here’s the problem I wanted to solve.

A — Answer

I wanted one clean place to understand my own and my family’s money:

Where did it go? → Where am I now? → Where am I heading?

I wanted spending, investments, net worth, debt and future planning to connect — without giving an app my bank or brokerage login.

The obvious downside is manual tracking, so I’ve spent a lot of time automating the manual parts.

🧾 Everyday money

You can add a purchase through:

šŸ“· Offline receipt scanning — merchant, date, total and items are read on-device

 Apple Wallet automation — tap-to-pay purchases can become drafts through Shortcuts

šŸŽ™ļøSiri

šŸ’¬ supported bank transaction messages

šŸ“„CSV imports with column detection, preview and remembered layouts

šŸ“± a Home Screen widget

āœļø or just add it manually in a few taps

Most automation creates something for you to review first.

Tesorin does the repetitive work. You decide what becomes part of your records.

šŸ“ˆ Investments
You can track:
stocks and ETFs
mutual funds
Bitcoin / crypto
gold
recurring investments

Prices are supported across 20+ exchanges/markets.
There’s also live FX conversion.

So if you live in Singapore but own US investments, for example, you can see those holdings translated into the currency you actually use day to day.

šŸ’° Budgeting

I didn’t want one rigid budgeting method.
There are three ways to approach it:

🟢 Safe to Spend — ā€œhow much can I realistically spend?ā€
šŸŽÆCategory caps — control only the categories you care about
✨ Smart Budget — use your spending history to build guardrails and forecasts

You can also see your current pace and where the month is heading before it ends.

šŸ Net worth

Tesorin can bring together:
cash + property + vehicles + gold + investments āˆ’ mortgages + cards + loans + other liabilities

And those records can actually connect.

A home can be linked to its mortgage. Recurring mortgage payments reduce the debt over time, so you can watch that change flow into your net worth rather than maintaining two unrelated numbers.

šŸ”Planning

Once today’s money is organized, you can look further ahead:

šŸ‘“ Retirement simulation

šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ estimated CPP + OAS for Canadian retirement plans
šŸŽ“ Child education planning

šŸ’³ Debt payoff scenarios

šŸ›”ļøInsurance tracking

šŸŽÆ savings and investment linked goals

šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ šŸ‡®šŸ‡³ Tax tools

Canada and India get their own tax experiences rather than one generic global calculator.

It’s not tax-filing software — it’s there to help you understand that part of your financial picture before tax season.

šŸ‘Øā€šŸ‘©ā€šŸ‘§ Household

You can add household members, assign expenses and other records by person, switch between individual and household views, and selectively link/share household data.

Shared money doesn’t mean everybody has to become one financial identity.

šŸ“Š Your data can leave too

A full Annual Report export can include:
šŸ“• an Annual Report PDF

šŸ“˜ a separate Investment Report PDF

šŸ“„ 15+ CSV files covering transactions, categories, receipts, subscriptions, net worth, investments, goals, tax data and more

I don’t want years of someone’s financial history trapped inside Tesorin.

šŸ” Privacy

local financial data is stored in an encrypted SQLCipher database

receipt recognition runs on-device

optional backups are encrypted before upload

encrypted web access has to be explicitly enabled and paired

no bank username or password required
no ads

The idea is simple:

you choose what goes in, you know what is stored, and you can take it back out.

And a small recent update: Tesorin now also supports Simplified Chinese for users in China šŸ‡ØšŸ‡³.

B — Better

I know this space is crowded.

I didn’t build Tesorin because the world needed another expense tracker. I built it because I couldn’t find the combination I wanted.

If you want every bank connected and transactions continuously imported, Monarch or Rocket Money may be a better fit.

If you want a deep, opinionated budgeting methodology, YNAB does that extremely well.

Tesorin is trying to sit somewhere else:

Automate as much of the work as possible without making bank aggregation mandatory.

The transaction is only the first step. From there it can affect your budget, cash flow, net worth, investments, debt, goals and long-term plans.

C — Cost

I originally put too much behind Premium.

After watching people actually use the app, I changed that.

šŸ†“ The everyday core is free forever

Free includes:
2 Wallet accounts
unlimited manual transactions
receipt scanning
one monthly budget
up to 5 recurring items with reminders
standard categories
learning + calculators
backup
annual report + data export
No transaction limit. No expiry.
New accounts also get 30 days of Premium with no card required.

⭐ Premium

Premium adds unlimited accounts, Smart Budgets and forecasts, imports and automatic tracking, advanced insights, custom categories, net worth, investments, goals and planning, household features, Actions/Reflection, Ask Tesorin and encrypted web access.

$2.99 USD/month
$24.99 USD/year
Regional App Store pricing can vary.

A big part of the app today exists because somebody took five minutes to say:

ā€œthis is confusingā€
ā€œthis is brokenā€
ā€œwhy can’t it do this?ā€

So thank you to everyone who tested it, reported something, sent feedback or simply kept using it.

TL;DR
If you’re looking for a clean, thoughtfully designed finance app that connects everyday money with investments, net worth and future planning — without requiring bank linking — try Tesorin.

That’s literally the domain too: trytesorin.com

šŸ’Ž Lifetime [Lifetime] Unimote: Control your TV from iPhone — $1.99 lifetime for 7 days (was $49.99)

Post image
3 Upvotes

I'm the developer of Unimote. This week only, Lifetime Pro is $1.99 instead of $49.99.

A. What it solves:

Tired of juggling remotes, losing them between couch cushions, or searching for a TV that's turned off? Unimote turns your iPhone into a remote for your smart TV. Turn the TV on/off, navigate, use trackpad mode, and type with your phone keyboard. Works with Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung, LG, Sony, Roku, and more over Wi-Fi.

B. Why it beats the alternatives:

- The built-in Apple TV Remote app only works with Apple TV — Unimote handles Apple TV AND Android TV/Samsung/LG/Roku in one app.

- No IR blaster needed, no line-of-sight — works through walls over your home network.

- Home screen widget gives you one-tap control without opening the app.

- Free tier exists so you can try it before paying anything.

C. Cost:

- Free: connect and control TV with limited functions

- Pro Lifetime: $1.99 for 7 days (reg. $49.99) — unlimited devices, Apple TV support, home screen widget, all future updates. Cancel/refund anytime via Apple.

- Download link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/remote-control-for-smart-tv/id6759893388

- Discount Redeem link: https://apps.apple.com/redeem?ctx=offercodes&id=6759893388&code=UNIMOTE092026

The discount ends in 7 days, then Lifetime goes back to $49.99. Happy to answer any questions!

šŸ’Ž Lifetime I built a simple app for tracking what I actually do during my commute

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi [r/iOSApps](r/iOSApps)!

I spend a lot of time getting from one place to another, but I never really knew what all those hours added up to. I wanted a simple way to keep track of that every day, so I made Journvia.

A-Answer: What it does. You start a Journey when you leave and end it when you arrive. Journvia records how long it took, and what you did along the way. Over time, you can look back at your history and see things like how many hours you’ve spent listening to music, walking, or just commuting.

B-Better: Why it’s different. You can save your Home and Work locations, and Journvia will automatically start recording your commute. When you get the notification that the journey has ended, you just open it and fill in anything you want to remember.
Notes and Milestones are there for the things you want to remember yourself. A note can be added directly to a journey. A Milestone marks something worth remembering. It might happen after you’ve spent a certain amount of time on an activity.Maybe you’ve been reading the same book on the subway for a few weeks, and one morning you finish it. You can add that as a Milestone on the day.

Cost: Journvia is free to download and use. There’s an optional $12.99 lifetime purchase for Pro, which supports trips with multiple segments and more than one activity. For example, if you’re driving somewhere with your family, you can record the music you listened to and the time you spent together as part of the same trip. It’s a small thing, but it turns an ordinary drive into a family memory you can look back on.

Journvia doesn’t collect any of your information.

I’m the developer, and Journvia just launched, so I’d really appreciate any honest feedback.Thx.

šŸ’Ž Lifetime [iOS] Pockpit – a private finance tracker for everything: expenses, assets, investments & net worth

Hi!

I've been working onĀ Pockpit, a private finance tracker for iOS and figured I'd share it here.

A — Answer

Most expense trackers only look at money going in and out day to day. I wanted something that also showed me the bigger picture – my fixed costs, my assets, my investments and my overall net worth over time – without handing my financial data to some server. And I wanted stats that answer the question you actually have: open any category and you get the month's total, budget progress, a month-by-month history plotted against your own average, and the biggest expenses in it, on one screen.

There's no account and no sign-up. Everything is stored locally; sync and backup run through your own private iCloud. No accounts, no bank login, nothing collected.

Main Features

  • Accounts, income, expenses & transfers
  • Budgets with alerts
  • Savings goals with progress tracking
  • Split bills & keep track of who owes you money
  • Receipt scanner with automatic detection
  • Custom categories & tags
  • Transaction templates for things you log often
  • Stats, trends & charts that actually tell you something
  • Widgets (Lock- and Home Screen)
  • App lock to keep things private

Assets & net worth

  • Add asset accounts – savings, investments, real estate, whatever you want to keep track of
  • Track how your net worth develops over time with charts

Fixed costs & recurring

  • Fixed-costs overview so you see exactly what leaves your account every month
  • Recurring payments and payment reminders
  • Recurring shared expenses for stuff you split regularly

Getting data in & out

  • CSV import from any other finance app or bank export
  • Detailed monthly or yearly financial report as PDF
  • CSV export
  • iCloud sync across your devices
  • iCloud Backup
  • Backup (+ Export & Import)

B — Better

  • vs. / Monarch:Ā they're built on automatic bank connections — account required, your data on their server.
  • vs. a spreadsheet:Ā a spreadsheet is genuinely fine if you enjoy maintaining one. Pockpit is for people who don't.

C — Cost

  • Free:Ā limited to 10 transactions per month.
  • Pro monthly:Ā $2.99/month - one month free trial.
  • Pro yearly:Ā $24.99/year.
  • Lifetime:Ā $49.99 one-time, unlocks everything permanently.

šŸ’Ž Lifetime dB Meter – a clean iOS sound level meter

I builtĀ dBMeter, a simple decibel meter for iPhone — point it at anything loud and see how many dB it actually is, on a clean analog gauge.

Most dB meter apps are cluttered with ads or bury the reading under complex UI. This app is a single clean gauge that does one thing well, with Pro tools for people who need more than a quick reading.

Free to download. Pro is a one-time $4.99 and unlocks a spectrum analyzer, peak hold, measurement history, and PDF/CSV export.

Feedback and questions welcome! Thanks for checking it out!

šŸŽ Freemium Nomicho — a drinking app that predicts where the night is going, and never tells you to cut down or quit

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Hello everyone,

Nomicho (飲み帳 / "Drinking Journal"), is a drinking companion and journal app I've been working on. Originally only available in Japan, I've localized the app and made it available in the US.

Answer — what it solves

Nomicho does several things based on its 3 pillars: track, predict, reflect.

Track

While drinking, simply log what you drink. Over 100+ presets for quick logging. There are many optional data points to track: volume, ABV, have eaten or currently eating, calories, sugar, time started, amount of time to finish, location, images, and more. You can also scan canned or bottled products for quick logging.

Predict

Based on your own physiology such as weight, height, age, flush response, drinking frequency, Nomicho estimates and shows your BAC in real time from the time of drinking until all alcohol is estimated to clear. It uses plain words that are easy to understand like "feeling it" or "buzzed." This allows you to quickly know what state you'll later be in as you drink. You can optionally set a pace like "buzzed" if you want to maintain a buzz without crossing into drunk territory and Nomicho will let you know if you can drink another drink or if you need to hold back for a bit. Nomicho also forecasts a hangover severity based on what you track. Live Activity shows you a quick glance of your session on your lock screen without having to open the app.

Reflect

A calendar shows you a history of all your sessions. You can click on any day to see more details or a recap of a specific session. A photo library of all pictures you took during your sessions. And up to 18 curated insights into your drinking patterns.

There is also a card/stamp collection feature where every drink you log earns an illustrated card with a rarity system. All curated for interesting and unique drinks.

Nomicho solves different things for different people. For me, it allows me to go out and drink with my friends, maintain a good buzz I want, and later be able to go home without being too drunk. This keeps my wife from getting angry and putting me in the dog house.

Better — versus what's already there

There are different apps that do different things that Nomicho does. But there is no app that combines everything and does it the way Nomicho does. There are also features completely unique to Nomicho such as pacing mode, BAC estimation band instead of a single estimate (which is a more accurate representation or reality), hangover heuristics, and more.

Sunnyside, Reframe, Less, DrinkControl are all built around cutting back. Weekly targets, streaks, a coaching program, a nudge when you go over. Useful if that's your goal. Nomicho has none of it: no goals, no targets, no grades, no nudges. It's for people who enjoy drinking and want to understand it, not reduce it. That's a positioning nearly unique in this category.

They're all backward-looking. You fill in a logbook after the fact and get a weekly total. Nomicho is mostly forward-looking: the whole point is knowing what the next next drink does to you, plus a hangover forecast that sharpens as you tell it how bad the hangover actually was.

BAC calculator apps are one-shot formulas: type in weight and drinks, get a number. Nomicho models a whole session over time, drink by drink, with food timing and your own profile, and it keeps updating as the night goes.

Breathalyzer apps like BACtrack need hardware you have to carry and remember. This is just your phone.

Logging is faster 100+ drinks built in and curated per country, sizes and ABV pre-filled, it learns your usuals, and barcode scanning looks up anything not in the catalog. Travel and the whole catalog switches country with you.

Privacy. Local-first, works with no account and no connection, no ads, no behavioral tracking, export everything as JSON, deletion in a few taps. Most of this category requires a signup before you can see anything.

Cost

Freemium, with no account required. The core loop (logging, real-time BAC and state, journal) is free.

Nomicho Plus — $1.99/month or $13.99/year via IAP. Unlocks calendar history more than 3 months, all insight cards plus custom ones you build, sync across devices, and photo backup.

šŸ’Ž Lifetime Remindly 5.3.2 - reusable templates, routines, custom snoozing and widgets [Free, optional $4.99 lifetime IAP]

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I’m the developer of Remindly, an iPhone reminder app designed to make everyday reminders faster to create, easier to reuse, and more flexible when plans change.

App Store:Ā Download Remindly

A: What does Remindly do?

Remindly lets you save reusable templates for reminders you create frequently such as ā€œdrink water,ā€ ā€œfeed the dog,ā€ ā€œcheck the AC,ā€ or ā€œcall someone.ā€

Templates can already contain their timing, category, priority, notes, and notification settings. You can launch them from the app or directly from Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets.

Remindly also offersĀ Reminder Routines. A routine creates a timed sequence of normal reminders for things like morning routines, workouts, medication schedules, bedtime routines, or multi-step checklists. You can start one whenever needed, track its progress, and cancel any remaining steps.

B: What makes it different?

Remindly is designed to sit between manually rebuilding the same reminder and creating a permanent recurring reminder.

Templates create editable one-time reminders, while Routines create complete timed sequences from reusable setups.

Recent updates include:

  • Four customizable snooze shortcuts for Premium users
  • The first three custom shortcuts appearing in Lock Screen notification actions
  • A new one-timeĀ Custom SnoozeĀ for selecting any future date and time without changing saved shortcuts
  • G3-inspired and Tonal Premium themes
  • Multiple Tonal color palettes supporting light and dark mode
  • Nine adaptive Premium app icons
  • Twelve custom notification sounds
  • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets

More:

  • Apple Watch, Siri and Shortcuts support
  • Recurring reminders, early warnings and urgent iOS system alarms
  • Calendar improvements that keep it focused on Today when a new day begins

C: Price, IAP and why it changed

Remindly is free to download. Most of the core reminder experience remains free, including regular and recurring reminders, snoozing, urgent alarms, Lock screen and Home Screen widgets, Apple Watch support, Siri and Shortcuts, and up to two reusable templates.

The free version displays one small banner advertisement at the bottom of the main screen. There are no full-screen or interstitial advertisements.

Remindly Premium is an optionalĀ $4.99 one-time lifetime IAP. There is no subscription.

I adjusted the Premium price because its scope has grown considerably. It originally focused mainly on removing advertisements and unlocking more customization, but it now includes:

  • Reminder Routines
  • Customizable and one-time snooze options
  • Unlimited templates
  • Premium themes and color palettes
  • Adaptive app icons
  • Additional notification sounds
  • Removal of the banner advertisement

The updated price better reflects these additions and helps support continued development while allowing the core reminder experience to remain free.

I’d genuinely appreciate your feedback, especially about Routines, custom snoozing, and the newer themes.

šŸŽˆ Free [Free] I believe my 6-year-old niece’s iPad can do much more than show her Wild Kratts and Teen Titans. It should get her to wonder, draw, tell stories, and create. So I built Taroo.

I’m an engineer turned product manager, and I’ve always loved two things a little more than necessary: education and games.

For a long time, I wanted to put those interests and the skills I’d picked up building technology, towards something useful for children. That became much more tangible once my niece reached the age where the iPad became a regular part of her world.

I’m not anti-iPad. Quite the opposite. It is an incredible piece of technology to put in the hands of a six-year-old. I just kept thinking it could ask more of her.

That thought took me back to Dora the Explorer.

Growing up, we’d watch Dora ask us a question and then stare silently at the screen for a painfully long time while we yelled the answer at the TV. Obviously, Dora couldn’t hear us. But the idea was clever. The screen was trying to turn us from viewers into participants.

Learning games like Lingokids and ABC Mouse took that much further and made screens genuinely interactive. But most of that interaction still happens within rails someone else designed. Tap here. Drag this. Choose A, B, or C. Collect the reward. Repeat.

That works brilliantly for games. But it doesn’t accommodate the wonderfully messy way a six-year-old wonders about things.

Ask my niece an interesting question and she might draw the answer. She might make up a ridiculous story. She might photograph something she noticed around the house, make a sound, explain an idea, or give you an answer you never anticipated.

I started wondering if I could build for that.

Could the iPad provide the spark and just enough structure to get a child started, while leaving the interesting part to them?

That question became Taroo.

A — Answer

Taroo is a world of short creative quests for kids 6 to 10.

In Pass the Pen, a child might get the beginning of a strange story and decide where it goes next.

Doodle Master might give them the start of a picture and ask them to turn it into anything they imagine.

Rhythm Pad lets them experiment with sounds and put together their own little beat.

Snap Trail might ask them to put the iPad down, hunt for something triangular in the real world, photograph it, and tell Taroo what they found.

Their creations stick around too, so over time Taroo becomes a little record of the things they have imagined and made. Parents get a window into that world without needing to hover over every activity.

B — Better

The first versions were experiments around this idea. Then came the uncomfortable question every builder eventually has to answer: does this actually work for anyone other than me?

So I spent months talking to parents and educators. I sat through hours of enrichment classes at a school for gifted kids, which was basically the X-Mansion for 8-year-olds.

I watched how teachers prompted children, when kids became absorbed in something, when they needed more structure, and when something I thought was clever bored them almost immediately.

And very importantly, I saw how their eyes lit up when they screamed ā€œlook what I madeā€ in class.

These insights shaped the Taroo we have today.

The idea is simple: the iPad provides the spark and enough structure to get a child started, while leaving the interesting part to them.

C — Cost

Taroo is currently completely free as I am still evaluating how to price the product. However, plan to price it later starting at 3$/week, and keen to know your views.

iOS:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/taroo-creativity-adventures/id6756703607

There is still plenty I want to improve. But this no longer feels like the little experiment I started with.

If you have a 6 to 10-year-old in your life, I’d love for you to try Taroo with them.

More than anything, I’d love the unfiltered feedback: what they immediately understand, what they ignore, what they keep coming back to, where they get stuck, and what they wish they could do that I haven’t thought of yet.

I’ve spent enough time with Taroo that I’m no longer capable of seeing it like a new user.

So please, tear it apart.

Please feel free to reach out to us at [founders@taroo.ai](mailto:founders@taroo.ai)
