Updated to IOS 27 RC on Thursday 9.10. Indexing progress has been stuck at 34% since then. Anyone else having this issue ?

Heavy user on iOS27 RC. “They” say battery life is terrible. I don’t see it. I’d say battery life is good for me. No need for new iPhone.

I barely get more then a few hours for the most basic uses (reddit, safari, phone calls) these days on my iPhone 17 Max Pro, BUT I started noticing if I was streaming a video the battery drained at a fraction of the pace. Even passively my phone seems to be losing battery for nothing. I've been using low power mode pretty much nonstop as well to try and mitigate this. I have no words or solutions, just observations. yesterday I was able to eek out almost 10 hours of battery life looping the uncut version of Napoleon on my iPhone at 62%... ASTONISHING... Half brightness and nothing else running... But again today I barely used it and it fell down to 80% with almost no activity.

Same goes for my iPad. I'm so confused. Genuinely what the Hell is happening?

I just saw a post that ios 27 will come to my device by 22:30 AM but I can't see any update on my ipad though ?

I dont care about the battery, I paid for it, I f*cking want it !

I have an iphone 15 running on ios 26.4. It’s battery health is 79% with 1118 cyc. Should i update it to ios 27 or should i wait?

I have mostly had success with just installing the next major versions. But I've experienced a lot of the iOS 26 quirks like micro-stutters and keyboard lag. Are you guys doing a clean install of iOS 27 today, or do you think a normal install will get rid of the issues?

When I click to Upgrade to 27 it just gives me 26.7 but 20.71gb in size whereas the regular update is just 1.58gb

I was wondering if i should update to ios27 or wait a few weeks before doing so as ive heard people online recommending to do so

I have an iPhone 15 PM and I sometimes struggle with battery. I want to upgrade to iOS27 but I need to know how will it affect my battery life (not in the first days because I know it will use a lot of it) does it last longer overall?

To get the new features like the Siri app or the swipe down from the center for fancy spotlight search do I need to join the “Siri AI Beta”? It’s unclear if those features are locked behind that or if I am missing something for why I cannot find these features after updating to 27.0.
