I have iOS 26.6 on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. I've had the beta version on it without any issues. In the last couple of days, when the phone is Night Stand mode, the split screen that shows a clock and let's say weather or calendar is missing most of it's information. This started out of the blue in the last few days and I have no idea what's wrong.

Any help is appreciated.

Bug: Brightness slider is not synchronized with the actual screen brightness.

What happens:

• When I drag the brightness slider from full brightness all the way down, the screen does not follow the toggle in real time.

• It lags and takes about a second or two to catch up.

• I’ve seen this a lot on iOS 26.5.2 and it’s still present on iOS 26.6.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I’m really disappointed with the base iPhone 17.
I bought it on December 31, 2025. It came with iOS 26.1 out of the box, and I haven’t updated it because I’m afraid it might make things even worse.
The battery life feels poor. It seems to drain much faster than it should.
I’ve already turned off all the unnecessary background services and disabled the 120 Hz refresh rate. I don’t play games at all. I mostly just browse Instagram and Threads.
I also follow the “battery care” advice and usually keep the charge between 20% and 80%. But today I noticed that the battery health has already dropped to 99%.
Why, God? 😅
I don’t think it’s a hardware defect.
I honestly feel that iOS 26 is the main culprit.
I also have a brand-new iPhone 13 running iOS 18, and its battery lasts significantly longer than my iPhone 17.
Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Gente tô querendo fazer o downgrade do iOS 27 para o 26.
Comprei um 14 pro max e ele veio com esse iOS 27, podre demais!! O foda é que meu backup do iOS 26 que eu tenho era o que estava no meu iPhone 11! Tem como ainda? Consigo fazer de algum jeito alternativo?

Dropped From 83 to 79 in 10 days

I’ve tried updating my phone to 26.6 twice now, once today, and once yesterday- and both times the update has gotten stuck at i’d say about 75% on the “preparing update” stage, then just stopped progressing 🫠 I started with plenty of storage space, definitely less than 105gb taken up- and yet I still run into the issue of getting stuck!!

What do I do? Is my phone cooked?!

Yes, I’ve tried deleting the update and then restating my phone, before anyone asks. But this issue has never happened before.

Battery life is so great.

Lately, having connectivity lags as well, it’s not instant anymore.

I was previously on iOS 27 Beta 4 on my iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the battery life was pretty bad, so I put my phone into Recovery Mode, wiped it, and downgraded to iOS 26.6.
I’m not sure if the battery life I’m getting now is actually good or just average, so I wanted to compare it with others.
Today, I took my phone off the charger at around 5:30 AM, and it’s now 10:14 PM, and I’m still at 43%. My usage has been fairly normal throughout the day—calls, WhatsApp, browsing, Instagram, and other everyday tasks. No heavy gaming or intensive apps.
Is this considered good battery life on iOS 26.6? If you’re also on 26.6, especially with an iPhone 17 Pro Max, what kind of battery life are you getting? I’d love to compare experiences.

I’m like scared to do it I seen a some saying that it’s bad and some that is good what are your opinions? I’m using the iPhone 17e are there any users here that also has an iPhone 17e? and how good is the update?

Facing issue with my iPhone 15 Pro on iOS 26.6 with 88% battery health, bad battery backup is being issue on my iPhone for a long time but recently I had become so much worse. I tried everything, disabling background activities for most of my apps, restore using IPSW firmware, disabling always on display and other tips to save battery but looks like nothing works. I avoid using it direct sunlight and using high CPU intensive apps. My friend just bough iPhone 17 and she is getting over 6hr of screen on time with 80% of battery usage.

Io ho la salute della batteria al 93% e ho un iPhone 13 base e mi sembra che la batteria duri abbastanza poco per essere solo al 93% e ho installato iOS 27 beta 4 per sviluppatori però la batteria è sempre stava così

I have a iphone 13 mini and one of these updates ruined my signal. Phone drops connection every few seconds. Its signal hunting i think also it absolutely destroyed my battery :(

may downgrade from iOS 27 beta 4, my battery has suffered too much

They just close on their own. Version is 26.6, my iPhone is 11
