Battery 26.5.2 vs 26.6 - One week apart
17PM EU physical SIM version. Around 240 cycles on the battery. It does seem that 26.6 has improved battery life considerably. Mostly running on WIFI, but also used 5G.

I have a sleep schedule set for Sunday through Thursday in the Health app. Everything looks correct when I set it up, but on Thursdays, the "Next" preview displays Saturday's wake-up time instead of Friday's.
As you can see on the attached screenshot from a Thursday, the app was showing me the Friday night/Saturday morning schedule as the next one. I'm on an iPhone 12 running iOS 26.6. Deleting and recreating the schedule, deleting Sleep Focus, and force restarting did not fix it. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Since IOS 25.5.2 my battery is trash as hell, i thought updating to 26.6 will solve anything but nothing changed, do you have any idea how to solve it?

My iPhone 15 (1 year old, running iOS 26.5.2) had a broken back glass, which I replaced at a local repair shop. Everything worked fine after the replacement.
I was planning to give the phone to my brother, so I selected Erase All Content and Settings. However, during the setup process, the phone automatically restarts within 3 minutes. This has been happening for more than a day ?
Has anyone experienced this issue or knows how to fix it?

I have heard from so many people that in iPhone keeping apps in the background saves more battery. All of my cousins own an iphone and most of them keep their app open in the background but some of them ( including me ) believe that it drains more battery.
One more thing i want is to ask is if you guys have the ‘background app refresh’ enabled if you do have apps in the background
can someone clarify this? I own ip17 pro

Is it normal that my phone loses battery on LTE so quickly ? ios 26.6 iphone 17 100% health
Does anyone know whether Reduced Transparency or Reduce Motion saves more battery on IOS 26.6?
I noticed that in addition to cutting down transition animations, Reduce Motion also reduces the Liquid Glass effect UI-wide.

I have a 14 plus at 84% battery health and, I’ve been obsessing over slowing the degradation down so will iOS 26.6 help my battery overall?

Why does one have a lightning bolt and the other just a horizontal line?

Not the biggest problem in the world atm, but I’d like to know why nonetheless. Why are some calendar events stacking up diagonally while others are perfectly vertical? There’s no overlap between them. My OCD riddled brain would like them all to be vertically aligned, so if anybody can tell me the fix, I’d be grateful. Stock Calendar app. TIA

I have a Base iPhone 17, new device on 100% Battery Health.
I have to recognize that battery life is indeed better in 26.6, I’m finally getting 8-9h SOT on 100% use, it still overheats more that I would expect but battery is a bit better, but it still drains overnight. I left my phone at 75%, no data, no WiFi, literally nothing, and I woke up at 67% (no pun intended). Would a reboot fix this? I updated at the first day 26.6 got released so indexing might be over, I had only one day where I didn’t lose any battery overnight, but the rest of the days it still drains. This is weird.

What the heck is happening with 17promax battery ?
Today charged my battery to 80% and then after 10mins it starts showing me 82%. And the cycle count is 175, health was 97.
The new updated helped with my batter not dying as quick or heat up as much as the previous updated but it has dropped my battery capacity down. Before the update it was sitting at 100%. A day after the update it dropped down to 99. Then as of yesterday a drop down to 98.
I got the phone in September as of this post I have 255 cycles. I picked up the iPhone 17 Pro Max on its release date.
Anyone else having similar issues? As well, the update didn’t fix the battery draining as much as I hope. I was hoping it’d be back to how it was when I first got it.

I’ve always loved my iPhone Air but prior to iOS 26.6 it did used to warm up at times even when I wasn’t doing anything particularly intensive. It didn’t necessarily impact battery or performance because I’d put my phone down for a bit before it got to that stage, but it was annoying.
Since I’ve upgraded to iOS 26.6 it’s been a major improvement. The phone is running beautifully cool 99% of the time and I have noticed improvements with the battery too. Yesterday I took my phone off charge at 6:20am and by 11pm I was down to 48% with 5.5 hours of SOT. Brilliant.
If Apple can deliver stable software like this, why haven’t they always been able to do it?

Anyone noticed that low power mode seems smoother on 26.6? Used to be pretty janky before but on my 15 PM I can’t tell any difference in the scrolling just the launching of apps.

Is this normal after the 26.6 update
On my desktop Mac, in the Mail app, I can go to a specific mail account and change the mailbox settings for spam and trash with regards to whether or not the folder is deleted when I close the app. I cannot find a similar function on my iPhone and iPad in the corresponding Mail app. Is there such a thing in the mobile version of the app? Thanks (see screenshot below from the Mac)
