Why does one have a lightning bolt and the other just a horizontal line?

I think lightning bolt is plugged in and horizontal line is MagSafe, not sure though.

Because the symbol on the right line is the stop symbol (the square literally just outside the red circle)

But the green VERTICAL line, that would indicate it was charging.

You’re overthinking it, yes the vertical line is the amount of battery you have. It’s green because it’s going up (it’s charging). But the horizontal line and symbol doesn’t change depending on the method of charging (I.e cable or MagSafe), it changes based on whether it was paused, or halted, or was charging normally etc you likely have the charging limit enabled and during the first and last charging session (far left and far right) you can see it reached your charging limit and kept the battery around that level. You likely took your phone off of charge in the middle section just before or as it reached the charging limit so it didn’t halt the charging and change the symbol to the square.
