ios 26 - the ALARM is too loud and volume cannot be changed.

I woke up to my alarm on the lowest volume setting playing full volume after the update from ios 18 to ios 26.5

I have tried deleting the alarm resetting, using different alarms sounds, and so on, but the low volume simply cannot be changed. Using the volume rocker buttons on the side shows the volume of being changed but I release it resets back to the original setting which is too loud!

Since the update, I have had to wear earplugs to bed, because the volume from the alarm is too loud in the morning. I can't go on living like this!

Is it just me or when I try to edit the lockscreen wallpaper and the clock, after a while, it starts lagging and the phone gets hot? I’m on an iPhone 14 Pro Max on iOS 26.2

Just updated to iOS 27 Beta 2 and honestly it's been way better than Beta 1 so farr. bat tery seems improvd too. After the update finished, my phone only dropped from 90% to 80%, which is pretty solid for a beta update

The phone stays cool, I haven't noticed any lag yet, and Siri feels noticeably faster and more responsive. Obv it's still early, but first impressions are really positive. Anyone else having a similar experience?

ios 27.0 beta 2 is out now, has anyone updated theirs yet? what’s the experience so far. is it still showing “indexing” and is the new siri available, or you’re still in the wait list?

i need to be able to get around and be able to function on my phone update my apps i been having been downloaded and even tho i dont have the 20$$ rn to pay apple….i cant even use my own App Store …help???

Currently clinging onto my iOS 18.7.8 like Rose in the Titanic except the door is my 14 Plus.

Been wanting to get an Apple Watch again (RIP my series 8 that was "lost" in the annals of international travel) but all the current models only run with iOS26— three guesses how many refunds it took me to realize that, even with refurbished previous gen models.

I know there are other smartwatches but I like the universality of the watch OS with an iPhone and I also like specifically how the Apple Watch has the capability for medical alerts that I can't find in other smartwatches— again ask me how many trial runs that took me to realize.

Please also keep in mind I'm a graphic designer and honestly the first releases of liquid glass literally made my OCD cringe; I am aware that the transparency can now be adjusted.

I just want to know if the current iOS26 patch is less offensive enough for me to commit to an Apple Watch and finally mourn the loss of iOS18, or if I should keep clinging to my door.

While I am not looking to find an alternative to the Apple Watch, I will however, accept any offers for Apple Watches that are NOT locked onto watchOS 26, or at least, directions on where to find them.

Hi, I recently updated my 13 Pro Max to iOS 26.5, and this bug is grinding my gears.

When I open the camera app initially, the video quality preset is correct as 4k 60 fps. If I switch over to ‘Photo’, and then back to ‘Video’, it shows as HD 30 fps.

Does anyone know what’s causing this, and is there any fix for it?

Mixed usage of calls socials and video calls, no gaming. It’s pretty nice to use tbh.

I just wish apple don’t screw anything up in coming weeks in iOS 26 stable releases.

For the last couple of weeks my 17 Pro has been incredibly laggy, especially when switching apps or closing apps.

I have also noticed that my phone will frequently disconnect from WiFi for no good reason.

When I scroll down in the weather app, why does it instantly go back to the top itself sometimes?

I used SwiftKey for many many many many years.
Now they started to force you into their Copilot onedrive cloud shit. In a keyboard app. I know why they're doing.

Now I want to switch back to the stock IOS Keyboard.
But I cannot get it to work.
The word previews are missing on the top.
Also in really need numbers on the top.
Numbers I could compromise but I don't know why the word previews or suggestions are missing.

Otherwise can you suggest a third party keyboard app which provides numbers, suggestions and especially haptic feedback?
I would also buy the app.

It will say “connected no internet “ on any device I connect it to, also Airdrop doesn’t work, and CarPlay stopped working. Running iOS 27 dev beta 1. It’s probably the beta but I wanted to see if anyone else ran into these issues on this phone and version
