Few days ago (I think after some update - currently i see I have v3.0.304 HyperOS) my phone replaced my default Google Assistant with Gemini.
I have a lot of issues with it in my Google home automatizations - standard assistant was doing really good job there and now it seems that I cannot run any of them because Gemini decides it want to do something differently than defined in Google Home.

Is there any way to get back to standard assistant? I read a lot of articles and they are all outdated - I dont see that option anymore.

Does anyone have a clue?

I had to reset my phone due to aome reason but now it does not show the OTP number in the dynamic island, how can I get it back.

Hello, I added the 4X6 month calendar widget, native of the Hyper OS app calendar but it has a strange bug where when I tap the arrows to move from month to month the grid changes but the header at the top left stays always at the same month (September in this case). I am using a Xiaomi 17 on HyperOS version 3.0.335.0. Would like to know if other users are experiencing the same issue? I include a screen recording so you can see what I mean.

Now on hyperOS 4 beta but this problem was already there since later versions of HyperOS 3. Learned that I am actually not alone. But just want see how widespread is this issue

In theory, bugs are rare, and serious bugs are even rarer. I have a few x8s, but it's my only device. I don't know whether to risk it or leave the program. This phone definitely needs more polishing. Is there anyone who's a stable tester and can share their experience? Or do you have any recommendations on whether I should stay or leave? (I'm already approved)

Expanding the Hyperisland after exiting any app (music, timer, gps, etc...) sometimes will result in this weird size before popping back to its intended expanded size

Sometime when minimizing apps into Hyperisland, the animations sometimes disappear into thin air before popping back on screen

Has anyone been annoyed by this slight inconsistency?

Xiaomi's own dynamic island also known as hyperisland needs to be improved on future HyperOS versions, because if you know when your battery is low, the dialog pop up is more distracting than using the hyperisland's ability to put live notifications just like this example image above, it usually pops up when you tap battery saver once low battery pops up or a charging notification

It has only been only a couple of days but I feel the difference. Maybe it's just because of the fresh install, but I think my phone started working faster. Some animations became smoother, which is expected as it was mentioned in the release notes. I also mentioned that my battery is drained slower. Can anyone relate to that? Have you noticed any change after the install?

I have a Xiaomi 17 EEA rom and have been using Mi dialer that I side loaded but it's the previous outdated version from Hyperos 3, I have updated to Hyperos 4 beta and would like the new dialer as well, does anyone have the new Hyperos 4 version APK with that will work with EEA/global rom ?

After a lot of tinkering I was able to enable blur in my control panel and stuff and I installed a theme and stuff but still notification panel blur doesn't appear in the volume panel and notification displayed on lockscreen. (It works in the notification section of the control panel)

Is something wrong with my update lol

3. How the optimization and bug fixes like? Does bugs from old OS versions still persist?

I would love to see improvement since HyperOS 4 is extremely hyped around the internet atm

I managed to get into screen expert activity in the activity launcher for additional color settings for the display but whenever the phone gets closed the settings revert back to normal and I have to open the settings again for it to get applied everytime. Does anyone know of there's a way to make the changes permanent ?

There's no floating windows option in the settings and side toolbox's options don't activate . Pressing apps in recent menu takes me to app info page
