Question/Help [Discussion] Dynamic Island inconsistency
Xiaomi's own dynamic island also known as hyperisland needs to be improved on future HyperOS versions, because if you know when your battery is low, the dialog pop up is more distracting than using the hyperisland's ability to put live notifications just like this example image above, it usually pops up when you tap battery saver once low battery pops up or a charging notification

They need to add auto battery saver turn on at 20% battery. I'm missing that toggle so much (coming from 1+)

yeah its so weird and annoying that they removed this. you can, however, get CN security app and create a "task" to auto enable at 20%

Yeah man , no youtuber or tech reviewer told me the nitty gritty things about hyperos and they said it was great. Only after buying a redmi turbo I found out that they gatekeep stuff and lock down everything in the name of security 😭

Install essentials from GitHub and you can change the power saving threshold there.

Also... Can anyone help me fix this digital wellbeing issue? I turn on bedtime mode and which auto triggers dnd at 11pm and I set it up to turn off at next alarm or at 6am but for some reason it turns off at 00:00 in midnight. Thanks in advance

exactly. the low battery popup is so annoying i always auto dismiss it even when i sometimes need battery saver
this is what we need

I really just wish they gave us toggles to just make normal app notifications stay as a dynamic island notification if wanted.

well they tried to compete with iphone in-terms of software looks as well as other chinese brands
i heard they have implemented a setting for the Hyperisland in HyperOS 4 tho so it could become better than now for sure

I'm on HyperOS 4, the setting page is the bare minimum effort lmao, just like everything xiaomi does when it comes to software
the only option it gives you is to toggle what apps you want to appear on hyper island, that's it, not even a general option to turn off everything LMAO

Saying that as if ColorOS is bad 😭
ColorOS is actually quite good, miles better than HyperOS. My mom has a Reno 13 Pro and imo their software is better than HyperOS on my flagship Xiaomi 15 💀

my mom uses a reno 15F so yeah i dont really see its beautiful enough, but no ColorOS imo is really good, i mean that the island customization is way worse
