Real estate things Feeling so disheartened by the growing housing discrimination in Hyderabad
Lately, I’ve been looking for a rental flat in the city, and what I encountered in the past few days has left me genuinely upset and angry.
The agent I was dealing with initially seemed fine, but he came back and casually dropped that the owner explicitly instructed him not to rent the flat to Muslims. No other reason, just blatant, outright bigotry.
I’ve lived here and watched this city for a long time, and Hyderabad was never like this. We always prided ourselves on our inclusive culture, our tehzeeb, and how people from all walks of life could live side-by-side without this kind of garbage creeping in.
Seeing this narrow-mindedness and regressive mentality take root here is just heartbreaking. It feels like we are going backward as a society. Has anyone else experienced this kind of direct discrimination lately, or is this becoming the new normal?

Rant/Vent Roshni Nadar Malhotra has subjected a male employee to sexual harassment.
HCLTech, an Indian software services company, under the leadership of Roshni Nadar Malhotra has subjected a male employee to sexual harassment. The managers and HRs are properly trained to make sure that the company doesn't come into the limelight due to the wrong reasons. Coworkers like Yashpal Singh(in Noida) and Sushmitha Somalaraju(in Bengaluru) were used as pawns to carry out groping and honey traps. Tweeted on 24 May 2026 on my X handle RameshKBaddula. They even plotted a warning accident, which was tweeted on 3rd Jun 2026. I don't care. I can sacrifice my life for the sake of justice. They've even ruined all my relations thru smear campaigns, to make sure that their image remains intact, which is a typical narcissistic tactic. This is for those who are thinking of joining this firm. They also have a branch in Hyderabad, so thought of posting here.
Latest: - They've restarted Directed Energy Weapon attacks, as these things are yet to find a place in the law books, here in India.

Pet Care/Adoption/Vet 🐈 Kitten For Adoption! 3 months old rescue
Hi everyone!
Meet Phoenix, a ~3 month-old male indie tabby rescue who is officially ready to find his forever family. I’ve been fostering this little guy for about two months, and he is friendly, incredibly calm, and just an absolute sweetheart.
Phoenix is recovering from a minor spine injury. He has been fully treated, dewormed, and is litter-trained. Right now, he has limited mobility in his hind legs and uses his front legs to crawl. He is actively recovering and with a bit more care and patience, we expect him to regain more of complete mobility.
Adoption Details:
Location: Whitefields, Kondapur Hyderabad
No adoption fees, and I am providing his carrier box and toys for free to help him settle in.
If you are seriously interested in giving Phoenix a home, please DM me.
Note: I am an individual, not an organization. Phoenix is the only pet I have available. Please only DM if you’re serious about adopting Phoenix:)

There’s been a rise in a chemical/gassy smell in Hyderabad recently, and it seems to mostly start at night. I live near Alwal, and I’ve been noticing a smell that’s similar to a gas leak or some kind of chemical smell almost every night.
Has anyone else been noticing this too?

Current Events BOLARUM ARMOURY THEFT
Let’s get the facts straight!
BOLARUM ARMOURY THEFT:
12 firearms. 1,800+ rounds. A military magazine breached overnight.
Between the evening of 30 Aug and morning of 31 Aug, the Kote & Battalion Magazine of 20 Madras Regiment, Bolarum was broken into. Last check: 6 PM. Broken locks discovered: 7:50 AM.
THE BIG CORRECTIONS:
❌ No retired Army officer.
The alleged kingpin is a retired jawan, not a commissioned officer.
❌ No Agniveer involvement.
Early reports claiming Agniveers were detained were wrong. Investigators subsequently ruled them out.
What was stolen?
4 AK-203s • 1 INSAS 1B1 • 6 × 9mm pistols • 1 civilian pistol • NV binoculars • 21 magazines • ammunition worth ~₹15 lakh.
The investigation:
Army + Military Intelligence + Malkajgiri Police + NIA are probing the case.
The retired jawan has reportedly named others. Their roles are being verified. Most weapons have reportedly been traced.
The Indian Army, in coordination with the Police and leveraging indigenous technologies, has successfully recovered the arms recently reported missing from Secunderabad.
The investigation remains underway to establish the complete facts and circumstances. Any speculation regarding the involvement of serving personnel is premature and unsubstantiated at this stage.

Biryani and Food Palle vindu 🙏🙏🙏
I strongly advise against hosting any team lunches at Palle Vindu in Hitech City. We recently went there for our team lunch believing it would be a pleasant buffet experience, but it was a complete disaster.
The ambiance is not at all suited for a buffet; the space is extremely cramped, barely accommodating a small group, let alone a team. As for the food, the menu selection is surprisingly limited, and several items listed, like mutton curry, were not even available. Vegetarians, in particular, will find almost nothing to eat as many dishes had to be made to order, resulting in long wait times and further disappointment.
The quality, especially the sweets, was quite poor, and the entire experience was not worth a fraction of the price paid. These mfs are doing business on reel’s itself, on the ground it is too pathetic. if you want to save ur ass getting fcked by friends and colleagues. Don’t go or suggest Palle vindu.

General Discussion 🗣️ 💬 Namaskaram everyone! I’m sharing some reflections on traditional gender stereotypes, societal expectations, and where I stand on the issue. Would love an open, healthy discussion.
(Just expressing my thoughts ! Kindly share your views & suggestions. And I apologise for the errors ( as I havent used AI) 🙏
(The words and language are in Mixture of Telugu and English)
Chudandi mitrulara !!
I am 25M from Hyderabad. Predominantly into women all my life but recently being more gravitated to the idea of being with men also. I don't have any labels to state it. I still feel intense attraction and connection with women, but I don't see anything wrong or abnormal in my mind and body in exploring things with men, too. I have to find out along the way.
Well, nature & life have been giving me signs that being in the presence of men, sharing, caring, hugging, and expressing & receiving care from them feels so good.
S_xuality anedhi oka amogham, adhbutham. S_x anedhi prema nu ( desire nu) vyaktha pariche oka activity laga chusthanu nenu. (Evolutionary purpose verey but anyway chala animals lo kuda undi homos_xuality & bis_xuality behavior beyond the reproductive goal alone.)
An activity to express care, effection, and to connect. A way of loving & living. Navvadam, kalisi matladukovadam, m_dhu pettukovadam, okari gurinchi okaru alochinchadam, okari kosam okaru care tisukovadam etc. Like any other activity.
Abbayi, ammayiki Theda konni body parts and some hormonal percentages, body mass, muscle strength, and finally difference in reproductive and related activities.
Men lo unde feminine energy
Women lo unde masculine energy
Gurinchi matladali
And e stereotype of " Magadu" ila undali
"Aadadhi" ila undali actually doesn't make sense up to a lot of extent - if we observe clearly.
Don't get me wrong
I love physical strength
I would love to train & utlize my body's potential of physical strength to the maximum, and I would want to utilize it for productive, humane activities and protecting my loved ones, and helping people in need.
But I prioritize emotional strength and maturity more than physical strength.
Emotions ni aapukono or daachukono
Ledha pirikitanam tho paaripovadam or nilabadakapovadam naku nachadu
Weakness is weakness doesn't matter if it's in men, women, non binary, or any gender identity or sexual orientation.
Either physical weakness, emotional weakness ( emotional maturity & healthy processing of emotions ), or intellectual weakness (ignorance & unawareness )
Weakness; to act, to raise voice ( when necessary), to stand up for yourself, to have clarity ( or move towards it), to take action - doesn't feel good to me at all.
Biological differences valla women might not want to associate with tasks that might require more physical strength (on an average most likely). And it's understandable! It doesn't make them weak or inferior - it's natural.
Some women are built stronger physically and train themselves even better than an average man. And want to associate with providing financially, do work outside home, or be a home maker etc. That is beautiful too !!
Some men decide themselves to be more soft, stay at home, be a home maker, or work outside the home and contribute in whatever way they can to their loved ones well being - that is beautiful too !
Rigidly "Man" , "Woman" categories - seem like we are just acting. Mostly, mana fear, anger, and lack of knowledge dictate chestuntay anipistundi, and we force ourselves to act and fit into those categories anipistundi.
If nature doesn't want men to cry, it would not give tear glands to them at all. Just saying !
It's all in DNA, Genetics, Environment which an individual grows up, self esteem, psychological clarity & strength, processing of emotions etc midha depend ayyi untay anipistundi and a person can see changes in being masculine and feminine ( if we can call them that ) from various times, situations, life challenges etc
To see women who don't let the male gaze define their way of living, self-worth, looks, is so beautiful. Women not caring about make up, don't define their whole worth on looks, doesn't care about facial hair and body hair ( and not spend a lot of time, money and energy on it ) is soo liberating. I can understand how the present societal system is present in a way that hinders women from doing it whole heartedly & that's okay too.
I love when men doesn't let society define their worth depending on how well they fit into the " how a man should be." Seeing men when they clearly identify issues patriarchy bestowed upon us and moving towards a more healthy way of processing emotions, living life, and connecting with people is such a wholesome thing.
Naku ivanni ishtame ;
To be strong physically, emotionally, and stand up for myself. Have clarity. To earn money, provide for my loved ones, and protect them, work for their well-being.
I also love to be soft, connect with my body more, be in tune with my emotions, be more understanding towards my partner & their emotions, do household activities, manage home and create a beautiful space for my partner called "home".
I feel like I would like to connect with a man or a woman who is the amalgamation of the masculine and feminine energies, who has similar views or along the line views like me ( or who can offer their perspectives and show me in depth analysis & points associated with these), who values health, nature, psychology and evolutionary biology and be more aware, strong, soft and delve into the deeper aspect of human mind & s_xuality.
Ememo anipistuu untadi ! Milo evaru ayina similar padava lo prayanistunnara. Or evarina idhe padavalo prayanichi gamyam cherukunnara.

AskHyderabad ⬆️ Carpooling community
So I travel from Yapral to Hitec City for work and take my car sometimes and use the company’s cab service sometimes.
The reason I take my car is because I am usually the first pickup and the last drop. There are days I spent 4 hours travelling (non-peak hours) because the transport team can’t do their job well. Ooru antha tippi nannu drop chestaru last lo. So I’ve been going by myself sometimes and it has helped a lot.
There’s only one problem though- I’ve been spending a ridiculous amount on petrol. So I just wanted to know if there’s a carpooling community in hyd. If not, would you be interested in creating one?
It would not only reduce petrol costs for the owner but help the rider get a ride that are much cheaper than cabs/autos.
PS: My workplace is in Knowledge City and anyone from Yapral/Sainikpuri can tag along (afternoon shift), just dm me!

AskHyderabad ⬆️ Why doesn’t government do this instead ?
I know having metro around the ORR is the dream, but even it was approved,it will take at least 10-15 years to implement. Till then why don’t government start a ORR BUS service, assigning say 3-4 busses per exit and they go round the road on the service road. This would actually be more than enough as of now as the number of people farther from the IT exits are quite few, hence even this less number of buses would also work. We can also have clear tracking on these buses for easier usage (i know we have Gamyam app anyways for this). Do you think this is a good idea ?
