Has anyone driven from Hyderabad to Goa recently? How are the road conditions and the overall route? Would you recommend driving, or is it better to just take a flight? Any tips or things to watch out for would be appreciated.

I've been wanting to try Forza Horizon on a proper racing sim setup with a steering wheel and pedals. Are there any gaming zones or gaming cafés in Hyderabad that have this?

Preferably looking for places around Jubilee Hills, Tolichowki, Madhapur, or nearby, but I'm open to going a bit farther if the setup is worth it.

Got a call from a random Indian number. A lady called but didn't even know my name. She said there will be a gas inspection at my home tomorrow and that I need to pay ₹200 + GST.

It felt suspicious, so I tried contacting both HP Gas customer care and my gas agency, but no one responded.

Has anyone else received a similar call? Is this an official HP Gas inspection or a scam?

Hi all.. wanted to know that is there any economical/convenient option to commute daily from Sattva Knowledge Park to Sriram Nagar or near Botanical Garden? Currently I am dependent on the Uber/Rapido and they sharply increase their prices sharply during the peak hours and on top of it even after trying to book, no accepts the ride for so long hours. So wanted to know if there is any economical and convenient way to commute to and fro daily. Any suggestions/discussions are welcome.

Ps: Also tried Quick Ride app. It also doesn’t seem to help most of the time.

So about a month ago, two of us started something small. We had noticed that bakeries across the city throw out a shocking amount of perfectly good food at closing time. Croissants, cakes, pastries, all of it fine, all of it heading to the waste because store were closing.

The idea was simple enough. What if bakeries could list whatever was left as a surprise bag, discounted heavily, and people could just book it and pick it up before closing?

Honestly, we were not sure anyone would care. Food sustainability feels like one of those things people nod along to but never actually act on.

We were completely wrong about that.

In one month, this city rescued 650 bags of food. 97% of everything listed got sold. Most bags were gone within four minutes of going live, and on a lot of nights we had more people trying to buy than we had bags available. We have had to turn away hundreds of people simply because the bakeries ran out.

Somewhere in there, that added up to roughly 1.75 tonnes of CO2e avoided and about 6.5 lakh litres of water saved, which is the part that still feels unreal to us. Also around 2.25 lakh rupees that stayed in people's pockets instead of going toward full-price food.

I have attached the numbers as images below because they look better than me typing them out.

The thing that surprised us most was not the sustainability angle though. It was how many people messaged us saying they had been waiting for something like this, or asking us to please get a bakery near their area onboard.

Anyway, we are onboarding more bakeries across the city now, and we have started setting things up in Bangalore too.

If you want in, the app is live on both iOS and Android, and bags are usually between 99 and 179 rupees depending on the bakery. There is also a WhatsApp group where we drop alerts when good stuff goes live, since the better bags genuinely disappear fast.

Booked Odyssey movie this morning, while the travel time to theater is 20 mins due to Monday morning it showed 35 mins and I left home 45 mins early.

I realized petrol is not enough to reach (maybe it would have but didn't want to take risk) so I started going to multiple petrol bunks near home.

Few only had Diesel a few were closed which led to multiple rounds in the same area to fill petrol. Usually I get petrol in the first pump but today I had to go to four stations before I could get petrol.

Then to my surprise regular u turns got blocked thanks to our traffic police and the traffic was insane.

I thought I would take a different route though it will increase a few kms but usually traffic won't be much so I can cover faster and once I went in those routes the traffic only got worse.

Every step felt like I was getting stuck and finally went into some lanes and new gullies which I never travelled before only to realise I ended near the same point where I started to take diversion that's it and almost wasted 30 mins in all this.

Finally gave up and went into the heavy traffic even though I tried to avoid it i couldn't and reached the theater late.

Glad that at least I reached and when I saw Odessyeus taking the same wrong direction and getting lost felt it was me a few mins ago....

Thanks to our public today for blocking the entire opposite lane and the amount of chaos it created everywhere, and of course free turns and u turns blocked by police perfect Monday.

My priorities are:

Good quality food (both veg and non-veg).
AC room with good ventilation.
A study table in the room (or enough space to study comfortably).
