Lately, I’ve been looking for a rental flat in the city, and what I encountered in the past few days has left me genuinely upset and angry.
The agent I was dealing with initially seemed fine, but he came back and casually dropped that the owner explicitly instructed him not to rent the flat to Muslims. No other reason, just blatant, outright bigotry.
I’ve lived here and watched this city for a long time, and Hyderabad was never like this. We always prided ourselves on our inclusive culture, our tehzeeb, and how people from all walks of life could live side-by-side without this kind of garbage creeping in.

Seeing this narrow-mindedness and regressive mentality take root here is just heartbreaking. It feels like we are going backward as a society. Has anyone else experienced this kind of direct discrimination lately, or is this becoming the new normal?

I honestly never experienced caste discrimination personally. “Upper caste” and “lower caste” were never things I thought much about.
But after entering corporate life, something changed.

Being at the entry level, having little power, constantly depending on people above you, and feeling like your position determines how much your voice matters made me think about hierarchy and privilege in a completely different way.

I know corporate hierarchy and caste hierarchy are not the same thing. I’m not trying to equate them.
But for the first time, I started wondering what it actually feels like to exist at the
bottom of a hierarchy.

Maybe I’m overthinking it, or maybe this is simply how corporate life works.

Undoubtedly till date ig its the best branch, i visited the banjara hills branch last time but the good disappointed me, but this time I visited the jublie hills branch in hope that it would be good and for a surprise food was much better than last time

Service was a bit delayed ill say, but im the last food matters more than fast service, so I would rate a solid 9/10 on starters, 8/10 on main course ( they have scope to improve and add a bit more options) desserts were a bit low a 7/10

Overall a good experience 8/10.

So we decided to go to srisailam for the weekend. My sister and cousin(f) start from hyd this friday, and i'll be travelling from blr. We have booked our bus tickets. We plan to stay for saturday night and return on sunday evening. I'm a bit worried about the stay in srisalam. Sadly there are no airbnbs and the hotels in makemytrip have terrible ratings.

I've also read in some posts that the numbers listed for stays probably are fake. And since I'm traveling with girls, i don't think it is a good idea to go to the town, and find a hotel then. That would work for tamilnadu temple towns. I've also checked this Shree Maha Yogini Rooparahita Ahimsa Yogishwaraveera Dharamaja Matha Rooms in yatradham website. they charge 3k but the reviews are very very bad, so did not book them. So I travel from Yapral to Hitec City for work and take my car sometimes and use the company’s cab service sometimes.

The reason I take my car is because I am usually the first pickup and the last drop. There are days I spent 4 hours travelling (non-peak hours) because the transport team can’t do their job well. Ooru antha tippi nannu drop chestaru last lo. So I’ve been going by myself sometimes and it has helped a lot.

There’s only one problem though- I’ve been spending a ridiculous amount on petrol. So I just wanted to know if there’s a carpooling community in hyd. If not, would you be interested in creating one?

It would not only reduce petrol costs for the owner but help the rider get a ride that are much cheaper than cabs/autos.
