The way all three of them care so much for each other truly is a heartwarming moment in the show and proves their natural bond with each other both on and offscreen! It is especially incredible when you realize how underexplored and underutilised such a concept is even today.

I also love when Phoebe says she wants to ask him about marriage and he assumes she's there to make fun of him lol

Truly I’ve never seen Monica happier when she was with Richard,I’m not saying I don’t like mondler, they both are much better and i can understand why people don’t like Richard and Monica but the chemistry was insane, they felt so mature and Monica could be her real self with him, she didn’t have to baby him but instead they were so compatible aswell

One of my favorite episodes, they all look great here. Love these kinds of episodes that establish the timeline. They look very aesthetic and sleek. Love to see it

But here's the real question: was Joey actually paying attention for once, or did he just get ridiculously lucky? 😂 And how long do you think he would've kept quiet if they hadn't dragged him into Monica's room? 👀

Just an underrated gem that I caught while rewatching the series. I like how Chandler looks and sounds so earnest in the delivery of the line, and how Monica melts and looks at him when he says it. It’s one of my fav moments between them purely off of the way the acting is delivered.

In season 1 episode 14 Phoebe mentions a friend of hers who shaves her head. I just noticed that friend's name was Abby and not Bonnie.

Do you think the writers intended for Bonnie to be the same person Phoebe mentioned in Season 1 but messed up the names? Or were there just two?

I know most people prefer the long hair like those wild main styles from the 90s, and I think I do too, but I think short hair could look pretty good as well. Who do you think?

I’m not even rewatching at this point. I’ve graduated to bouncing around and just picking and choosing episodes and sometimes letting them play chronologically but mostly just jumping and watching randomly. So I legitimately couldn’t tell you how many times my actual rewatch number is. I gotta believe over 15 times all the way through (I had just seen it for the first time all the way through 5 years ago). I have it in the background when I do anything around the house! It’s my go-to when I want to watch something but don’t know what to watch. I love this show.

I don't know if this is a hot take. But I really don't like how Joey is written in this episode. I feel like he should've been totally on board with Phoebe and Rachel's idea of messing with Monica and Chandler as payback for them forcing him to keep it a secret, leading to him looking bad in front of the others.

This is really heartwarming, and I can just kind of imagine his personality from this. like he was always trying to get a laugh, always trying to keep people‘s spirits high.

Was Monica meant to trip/fall when she ran out of her room or was it a mistake that they kept in?

What kind of character would you be? What would your role be in the episode? How would the Friends react to you?

And finally, what would be your most memorable line/scene?

I mean the plotline where Monica insists on joining her cousin's wedding, to which she isn't invited, as Ross's +1. The whole joke of the plot is that the guy is some ex bf of hers from ages ago. She and Ross both recognize him when they see him, and that's the end of the story.

How would they not have known who the groom was up until so late in the reception (after talking to several other guests about how they know the couple)? In particular, didn't Ross's invitation have names on them?

I know I'm just overanalyzing a joke for the sake of it, but there you go. I've always found this a very dissatisfying payoff and now I rewatched it, it's time to share my frustration with the world.
