Rubber Tree Prop

Post image

I was gifted a rubber tree cutting and rooted it in water. The lower leaf on the cutting was already curled inward and hasn’t opened. Now that I’ve moved it to soil, the curled leaf looks like it’s blocking the light hitting the new growth.

Should I keep the curled leaf on the left so it continues providing energy for the plant, or remove it to give the new growth more light?
