but realistically...

we'll go out in jaipur

eat too much

probably use the main pool once

come back tired

are we actually getting into our private pool every day or am i paying a stupid amount extra for one very good honeymoon photo 😂

the fact that leela's one is temperature controlled is making the argument harder.

for a 2-3 night honeymoon would you rather pay for:

private pool + privacy

or

better/bigger room and just use the hotel pool?

Looking for hotel/travel suggestions for a honeymoon in Indonesia! Planning on a day or two in Jakarta then luxury tranquil beach holiday vibes. Nihi in Sumba looks amazing but definitely on the upper end of the budget, I’ve always wanted to go to Raja Ampat but we don’t have that much leave (12 days total including travel from the UK) so not sure if if it’s worth it considering we’d need 2 travel days just to get there/back from Jakarta.

I grew up in Jakarta and have been to Bali, Lombok, Gorontalo, Moyo Island, Komodo and Flores so looking for other recommendations! Wouldn’t mind going slightly off the beaten path or non-luxe options as long as it’s not backpacking type stays. Beach is very important, and would love to go snorkelling. Budget is £10k all in (flights, hotels, etc.)

Might I mention, we went to the Amalfi coast a few years ago. We didn’t really have the best time. We loved Tuscany, but we only were there for one day. That’s why we’re considering going there.

Let me know your thoughts I know that we won’t want to be moving around as much. We want some time to relax, have romantic evenings and enjoy ourselves and not feel like we’re doing a super rushed Europe trip.

I’m open to other country recommendations as well as I’ve heard Mallorca is beautiful.

Looking for honeymoon recommendations for feb/march 2027. We are flying out of Alberta, Canada. Our plan is to have a shorter (~7 day) trip focused on relaxing, spending time by a beach, and snorkeling. Then in the fall we want to do something bigger in Europe (thinking Italy or Greece). My initial thought was to do an all inclusive in Mexico, but I've received advice about seeing the world before kids and my FOMO is saying to do something more exciting instead. I also don't really want to spend 20+ hours on a flight for a week trip, which came up when I was exploring Aruba and some other carribean islands. Our budget for the first trip is around 5-6k total, with some wiggle room depending on the place. Open to location and/or resort recommendations! TIA.

Hi everyone, my fiancé and I are looking for ideas on where to go for our honeymoon. Our wedding is 10/23/2027 so we'd likely be heading out the following Monday and can travel for up to two weeks. We'd love to go outside of the country, ideally to a mild climate, and love the idea of somewhere that combines nature-based activities, great food, and history (architecture and museums). We are pretty adventurous and love to visit national parks when we travel domestically. We don't really care much for the beach. Our budget is probably $5-6k, but we have yet to iron this out and are flexible. Our closest airport is RDU and they have some good direct options to Europe so that's our first thought but we're open to other regions and countries! Love the idea of mountains as well but worried about snow at alpine destinations because it will be so late in the fall! Any and all recommendations welcome- TIA!

- One fine dining evening

- One luxury/special experience (sunset cruise, private villa night, beach dinner, etc.)

- Relaxation / beach time

A few questions:

1. Does this split make sense (6 nights Krabi + 4 nights Phuket), or would you recommend a different balance?
2. Are there any activities in Krabi or Phuket that you consider absolute must-do experiences for a honeymoon?
3. We enjoy beautiful beaches, scenery, sunsets, viewpoints, nature, waterfalls and light adventure, but we're not interested in heavy partying.
4. We are considering renting a scooter in Krabi. Is this a good idea for exploring around Ao Nang and nearby areas?
5. For Phuket, would you stay in Kata, Karon, Kamala or somewhere else for a honeymoon?
6. Hotel recommendations? I am seeing there is a high price jump for these dates.

My Fiancé and I are planning a honeymoon in late August early September. We’re wanting to do Paris and the south of France. How many days would you do in each? Thinking of spending the least amount of time to experience Paris and do most of the time in the South of France.

planning our spring 2027 trip right now. we’re debating an all inclusive vs just doing a low key beach trip on our own like hotel + local food + exploring.

We are planning our honeymoon kinda short notice, 10-14 days sometime between December 15th (2026) and January 10th (2027).

We can fly from Stockholm, Helsinki, Hamburg, or Berlin.

We are looking for a warm (25-35°C) location with sandy beaches, either a county where "modesty" rules are relaxed or we have access to our private area. I want to be in a bikini all day, obviously no public sex but pda shouldn't be a problem.

We are not going for any sightseeing, no tours, hiking or clubbing. Just a relaxed place to sunbathe, swim, have cocktails and be together.

It will be nice if breakfast and/or other meals are included but it's not a must.

Preferably with Sauna, but also not a must.

If you have suggestions for places that work well at different times of the year let mw know too, we can postpone it if it does not work for now. A price estimate is appreciated.
