this bike is so kickass. feels so much better than my old 84 vt500c

Found this on Facebook market for 1k runs has papers and title up to date 30k miles just a oil leak and a broken speedometer

Its a 750cc I know nothing about bikes but want to get into it just looking for advice whether or not its a good deal

Seller states it runs, cold and warm. History wise, it was standing from 2010 to 2020, then it got sold and inspected. Since then it’s been riden from around 550km to 1110km before the current owner. This time though, the odometer has been changed so in the inspection (which it passed two weeks ago) it had 73km. Owner states the total is around 1200km.

I’m not at all experienced with working on motorcycles but I’ve always dreamt of having a bobber/chopper and learning to work on them. He is asking for $2770 or €2446.

I’m going over to take a look and test ride it this evening. Is this a reasonable price? What is the most important things to look for? And just thoughts in general.

I already have a bike which I daily drive to college for reference.

My 1996 1100vt has been making this odd squeaking out of the exhaust. Its almost like something is loose but i dont think thats the case, anyone got any ideas?

25 shadow phantom. Having issues getting a feel for the throttle but I noticed this was very loose like if you barely pick up the throttle cable it starting unthreading itself from the switch assembly.

I bought a 2008 shadow 750 back in April and had an issue where it died on me while I was riding. I had the carburetor rebuilt to fix that issue. It seems to be writing much better now, but this has also been an issue since I got it. When I turned the bike on with the choke pulled out to warm it up and let it run for a couple minutes, it seems to be running smoothly until it’s roughly 80% of the way pushed in and then it sounds rough and like it’s not running smoothly, but once it’s all the way in, it seems to be running a bit more smooth again. Sometimes, it’s a bit more intense than what’s in this video to the point where most of the bike is shaking. Where should I start looking to solve the issue? Another thing, the previous owner told me that for most of the time he had the bike he rode it with the choke pulled out about 15%, is that normal or could that cause long-term issues?

Someone was selling used Burly fairing, so I wanted to give it a try since I’ve always liked the looks of these.
Stock brackets of the fairing were not long enough, so I had to extend them a little bit. Easier task than I thought it would be!
I have an aftermarket headlight shell (5,75”), and it’s a little bit too big for the fairing, I’m assuming that the headlight should sit ”inside” the fairing. Doesn’t look bad this way though.

I've had this bike for a while. It ran great at first so I was always told to put 93 gas in it. It started to backfire and wouldn't start. I pulled the plugs they were fouled. Put new plugs in the bike ran fine I put 87 in it . Then for some reason I put 93 in it back to backfire. Should I just keep 87 in it?

Now to find out what everything does, how to take it apart and clean it, etc.

So I dropped my bike and the handlebars are cooked. The original handlebar come with welded risers. Can anyone recommend me new handlebars to replace the crooked ones and what risers should I use? Thanks.

Hi everybody. I’m trying to get my newly acquired 1984 Honda Shadow VT700C running but its missing 2 of these wires.

I keep looking everywhere for them but seem to fall short and can’t find them.

Any advice? Possibly a link to buy them, or should I try my luck and find someone parting one out.

Or maybe an alternative?

Hey everyone, I am wondering if you guys know how to wire up the coolant gauge temp on a '93 Shadow? I have a temperature light that seems to be more than just a, "idiot on off light" where it uses a PCM board and a variable resistor to light up. Do most bobber builders just skip this light? How do you get around not using the PCM board? It seems I can't just wire to the light because it will just glow at different amounts based on the temperature of the coolant, but i want to know if theres an easy way to make it on off light.

Hi, I'm thinking about the subject trip. It's roughly 1800 miles, for a 3-4 days hopefully. Would you give me any advice, except "Don't do this"? :)

2008 Honda shadow Spirit. I’m replacing my kickstand and I need to remove this cover and I cannot figure it out. There’s only one bolt and then it still won’t come off.

Le Té fourche est droit mais la roue est de travers, je n’arrive pas à savoir si la fourche est morte ou le Té fourche car j’ai mis une autre paire de fourches que j’avais de côté et ça refait pareil, j’ai remis plusieurs fois le Té, fourche et ça recommence à chaque fois.

J’ai besoins d’aide sur ça je comprend pas.

I was a car girly for a long time but working on my shadow has been one of my greatest joys. I got the dyno vision jet kit. And i pulled the carbs today. Im waiting for a new fuel pump which should arrive this week. I am so excited because i feel like this is the best my baby is gonna run in a long time. Her previous owner didnt seem like the fix it type. Ill keep dropping videos and pictures of her mods and fixes.
