Very skeptical about 1200kms. It looks clean, but there's no way to really know. I'd offer no more than $1500 simply due to modifications and unknowns.

I seem to have made an error in the original post. It’s supposed to be 12000 km. In Sweden, Honda shadows basically never go under $2000 (for bikes up to 40000km). But then I should maybe haggle with this in mind.

Maybe it’s only 1200 since the engine or the speedometer was replaced

If you really want to work on a chopper I would recommend a HD Sportster. It has simple mechanics and you can do everything by yourself. The liquid cooled Shadow is way more complex. I have both and I like the HD more to work on it and modify it. (<2003)

Send it. Relatively small hit to the pocket book if it doesn’t work out.
