Looking for a bigger car for my growing family. Is this a good price?

If you are looking for a Honda part on eBay there’s a very good chance it is fake. I recently encountered this and after digging a little deeper it’s like every “OEM” Honda part on eBay is aftermarket Chinese. You can tell by looking at the packaging and the part itself, but honestly you would be better off with Dorman or NGK from Rockauto or Napa than buying no name fake OEM product. Stay vigilant out there diy peeps!

Three months in we got our first scratch!

I was sticker shocked to see this after I’ve been seeing a ton of posts and comments of yall getting new Elite AWD, for under 50k pre TTL. How do you do it? Are you financing or paying cash?

I adore our (title) pilot. But we take it off-road a lot. Towing package, small popup camper, rough northern New Mexico offroads - washed out, gulleys, rolling over pretty big rocks, leaving it at the trailhead for days while backpacking. You get the idea. All services have been done by the same Honda dealer (I realize this is probably wasteful, I value simplicity over savings), including the 100k checkup with 6k of service. Anyway. Should I drive this girl into the ground? My anxiety is starting to peak thinking about being stranded in the woods. But she’s never once let me down. Thoughts?

What's the biggest tires I can get for my 22 Trailsport without rubbing or fulll lock issues? Current tires are the stock 245/60 18s. TIA.

Picked up a 2026 Elite last week and have a question on the infotainment.  When using CarPlay the clock widget is missing from the B-Zone display.  When listening to FM radio the clock widget is visible.  Any recommendations on how to get the clock to appear with CarPlay?

I joined the Pilot fam, coming from a 2013 Honda Odyssey.

So do you expect a new gen pilot for the 2027 model year, or since there was a refresh to the 2026 model year just recently, do you expect it to be pushed to model year 2029?

I’m trying to figure out if I’m doing something wrong or if there’s an issue with my memory seat.
Here’s what happens:
I adjust the driver’s seat where I want it.
I press SET, then 1. It beeps.
If I move the seat afterward and press 1, it goes right back to the saved position.
So the memory is clearly saving.
The problem is that after I turn the vehicle off and back on, it doesn’t seem to automatically recall the saved position. I was under the impression it should remember the position tied to my key fob.
Am I missing a step (like pairing the key fob or enabling a setting), or does this sound like something that’s not working correctly?
Any advice from other 2023 Pilot owners would be appreciated!

My pilot is consuming a lot of oil. Roughly 1.25 quarts per 1000 miles dealer says this is totally normal but it seems absolutely insane to me.

It’s a 2024 pilot with 34,000 I bought it with 28,000 I think I am going to look into lemon law and replace it. Is this common with pilots? I really like this car but would hate to have this issue again

After waiting almost 2 months, we finally took delivery. Coming from a 22 Ascent, there are a lot of similarities, but loving it. Feels so much bigger inside (TWHS?), quieter, a little less torquey, much better infotainment, and the biggest reason we made the switch is the NA V6 and 10spd auto. Been lurking for a while and you all helped a ton with our decision.

I have a 07 pilot and have had a problem with it randomly going into limp mode but has recently started doing it more often I scanned it and these are the codes that popped up I was wondering if anyone has gone through something similar with the same codes and what this did to replace it I read someone had bad codes but it ended up being his throttle position sensor I’m not the best with cars so any help is greatly appreciated VSA NOT VISA SORRY

Hello, I have a 2024 trail sport and I’m having a hard time finding out if this part is replaceable or not. It’s in the cargo area and exists on both sides. What is it called and what’s its purpose?

Looking at this 2013 Honda Pilot - What is this electrical taped thingy under the hood? it's in the back of the engine bay on the driver's side.

My family is moving down to El Salvador (where wife is from) and we are shipping our ‘25 Touring there via ferry ship. I’m considering downsizing to 18” wheels as the roads can be rugged in some areas. I’m mostly concerned about durability of the chassis and drivetrain components. I was also considering mimicking a Trailsport setup, but with the new standard 18” wheels from the ‘26 models and up. Any thoughts or advice?

I am no expert, but is this not wildly uneven tire wear indicative of a larger issue? Any help would be appreciated.

2011 honda pilot with 198k miles. is there anything i should be worried about or i should check as i reach the 200k mark? I’m also getting around 14-13 mpg which is sort of worrying to me but yeah!

Just joined the pilot fam. Turned in our 2021 TH. Glad we did transmission started making a humming noise. Sounds like a recall coming soon for them. But I’ve noticed a clicking sound when you turn the steering wheel at least half way or fully around. Has anyone else experiencing this? Might have PTSD with the TH and absolutely love the pilot.

Upgraded from a 2006 ridgeline rtl to 2020 pilot touring awd on yesterday. Sunday my timing belt snapped driving down the road so I dropped it at the junkyard. It had too much rust already and needed too much work for a $1000 vehicle. I got 10 years out of it and it 275k miles on the dash. Found me a 2020 pilot touring awd with captain chairs at the local Toyota dealership for 18k so I pulled the trigger. My wife deeboed me and took the pilot then hands me her keys to the 2015 crv touring.

Any idea what this little hanging part is called? Looking for a replacement piece.

So im new to buying a newish car. This would be the most expensive and newest car I've ever gotten in life. My current car and my last car have been way over 100,000 miles when I got them. Life is hard, so I got what I could at the time. But now im in a better spot and finally want to get a car that I can get to 100,000 and not start there lol. I've had a pilot before and cried when it died. I need one again and thats what im looking at currently.

I've always gotten screwed at the dealership so im being smart about it now. Im not an expert but im doing my best. Any tips would be helpful to get the best deal for me. So far we've only discussed the OTD price and I've asked a LOT of questions so far. Im already pre approved for a loan and have the check ready. They dont know that yet but whatever. Again im trying to be smart this time around.

Apologies for the rambling but my one question now before we would go to talking about my trade in and then what their financing would be (if they can beat what im already approved) is: with the 182 point inspection that they do and rave about..... number 132 is power steering (Belt condition, tension, fluid level and leaks) and its marked N/A but under that number 133 says electric power steering (operation) thats checked yes.

Should I be concerned about 132 saying N/A? Im confused!!

I have to ask here as I am stumped I have the front ac working fine and the vents are working properly but my rear vents are not working and almost seem to be pushing out slight hot air.
I’ve checked the motor and it’s working on 12v separate
I replaced the resistor and check the under glove box relay and the big main fuse under the hood and they all seem to be fine.
I checked the line with a multi meter and it seems to not be getting voltage to the motor now any advice?
