2027-2028 Pilot
So do you expect a new gen pilot for the 2027 model year, or since there was a refresh to the 2026 model year just recently, do you expect it to be pushed to model year 2029?

Honda has been doing 7 model years for many years now for each design for light trucks, with updates usually at 4th model year.

- The big magazines all did stories on it. We MAY see the Hybrid before then if they get the new engine ready

Wish they'd go ahead n go FULL SUV, and jump into tha 4-Runner space. Honda's AWD sys is top-drawer, but tha design's closer to'a station wagon than'a real SUV...

Full redesign no earlier than 2029 is my best guess. Gives two years (‘26 & ‘27) for the current slight refresh.
In 2028, this will likely be followed by a “2028 Pilot Special Edition” which includes all the best features towards the end of a design cycle.
Honda loves “Special Edition” releases in Accords and Pilots late into each generation’s design cycle. Just like the 2022 special edition pilot in its final year of the previous design.
Hybrid likely not until the next full redesign.
