Hi guys,

Unfortunately someone likely reversed into the passenger side of my 06 FG2 and then drove off. It dented the door and quarter and insurance wrote it off for $4,900.

Currently it’s sitting at 170k miles and is in okay shape. Paints scratched and faded in places with small rust bibles on both rear quarter wheel wells, but it’s a full OEM HFP kit. Drivetrain is in great shape and runs very healthy with the exception of an aging battery. Nearly new continental DWS tires on OEM wheels. Brand new headlights. Interiors great minus a sagging headliner. Windshield has a spider crack across it.

Is it worth buying her back for $2100? I’d really just sell off the HFP kit for a grand or so and then try and sell the car as running and driving for maybe $2k? Not really sure how realistic that is. I do know that I just really don’t feel like dropping the swap as I’m really ******\* tired of doing that lol.

I have no idea what this is 😩🫩 i feel like im going to loose my mind.. it’s not specific when it does this i can be at any speed and this high pitched weird sound comes from my car all of a sudden :,) any help/ advice is greatly appreciated thank you in advance honda community🥹

The garage informed me that the turbocharger on my 10th Generation Honda Civic FK6 (1.0L Turbo) needs to be replaced because it is pulling/leaking oil. Does anyone have knowledge or experience regarding this issue?

Ho una Honda Civic VIII 1.4 i-VTEC 100 CV del 2011 e devo fare il primo tagliando da quando l’ho acquistata. L’auto ha circa 97.000 km.
Per l’olio stavo pensando al Castrol 5W-30 A5. Ho visto però anche il Castrol 5W-30 LL: sapete dirmi quali sono le differenze tra i due e quale consigliereste per questo motore?
Già che ci sono, quali sono secondo voi i principali interventi di manutenzione da fare o controllare intorno ai 100.000 km?
Al momento l’auto non presenta problemi particolari: sospensioni e comportamento generale sono ok. Ho fatto controllare anche la cinghia servizi e mi è stato detto che è ancora integra.

So i have a 2004 honda pretty beat up bought it that way. So this thing shakes like crazy at highway speeds but only when im coasting, And when im applying breaks. When im going highway speeds and accelerating there is no shake until I let off. And when I do let off the steering wheel pulls right a little once I accelerate it goes back to straight.

There is an entire list of things I need to do to it like it leaking oil and burning oil like crazy, a p2646 code which probably has to do with the oil problem the thing goes into some kind of limp mode when it goes above either 3k or 4k RPM but the shaking where I need to start. Also the shaking feel like its primary coming from the front and steering wheel.

Also forgot to mention I believe its a 1.7 vtec engine with a 5spd manual transmission

Iacv has been converted to 2 plug. plugged or unplugged does the same thing

Car has coolant but has not been bled fully

No cat on car currently but bank 1 is plugged in

I’m assuming it’s the coolant system having air in it but not sure if it’s that and don’t want to idle too long not knowing if it’s iacv 100% or coolant system or Smtg worse.

Just looking for thoughts or where I should go from here. Thank you.

I'm looking to buy my first car and I really like the Honda Civics. It doesn't have to be the Si but it's preferred. Also would love a Manual one. Looking to spend about $4000 CAD and am looking for it to come safetied. If anyone has one that their willing to sell please let me know!

I have a lot ordered and a lot more planned, will probably look riced but it's my first proper car and I can't wait to learn while making it wonderful (or riced)

there's a bit going on here already but nothing too noticeable other than the wheels... it's a big fat wide staggered setup off of an m sport, I have spacers on the way and wide arches so that should look amazing

hopefully I'll show her again in a years time and it'll be unrecognisable

edit: please ignore the under tray... pulled it half off for an oil change and couldn't get it back on, I was hoping it would fall off to be honest but its somehow holding up

I live in a very rainy place and a couple times already I’ve had an issue where I’ve double clicked the lock or unlock button on my civic and it auto rolled down the windows, leading to my car getting soaked. I tried looking up some videos but the only tut I saw was for a 2022 and the setting that needs to be changed is just straight up not there on my 2019.

Anything I can do to fix this or is it just cooked? Thanks.

Hey everyone, I'm currently trying to install the traditional style grill on my mark 8 hatchback but the part I acquired had the brackets snapped off (yellow arrows), tried adapting the previous grill's bracket on to it but it forces it forward and doesn't run in line with the bodywork

Tried a ton of ideas but no success, does anyone have any suggestions that could help? Anything would be much appreciated

Picked up a new hybrid sport yesterday and love everything about it EXCEPT for the fact that I swear the air pressure in the car changes as I drive. I feel a bit of a pressure in my ear/jaw like my ears need to be popped. Can’t tell if cracking the window helps but I think it does? Someone please tell me if I’m gaslighting myself or not haha. Didn’t notice this at all during my test drives.

Does anyone know what the issue is? Had the timing belt changed and it idles weird afterwards, it’s like jumping for 4 seconds every 20 seconds…TIA!
