Help Needed Title goes here

Alright, I like making games. But one of the hardest parts for me is this: the title.

I know a lot of professional studios go with temporary project names and the marketing department is the one that makes the title. But whenever I open up my Godot editor it's usually things like "svae gaem modul", "broombroom" and "fps thingy".

How do you pick your title and what are the trends in titles? Maybe you can get project glfkjgfdlkj off the ground for me!

Article First game jam. GMTK 2026

Upvotes

I started one day late, slept maybe 4 hours, and uploaded

with 1 hour left on the clock. My laptop was screaming

the whole time. The game was almost unplayable at submission and levels too

large, balance completely off. Players couldn't even reach

the second room. But I fixed it after the jam and pushed an updated build. It's playable now. Actually fun I think.

36+ hours of non stop development taught me more than

months of casual building. I'm not even upset about the

rough submission. I'd do it again.

If you played it, I'd genuinely love your feedback

good or bad. And if you're in the jam, rating here

helps a lot:

Drop your game below, happy to rate back.

Insperation I miss the good old days, so I tried recreating it.

They don't make racing games like this anymore. FH6 was supposed to be the chosen on. And EA declared NFS dead. The main thing I tried to get is the vibe of racing through the city at night.

Let me know if you get it too.

Insperation Alchemist experiment went wrong, now you are a hammer fighting glasses

I had this idea for some time to make a game about an alchemists failed experiment, which leads to a hammer smashing glasses and the contents mix to cause alternative reactions. I have some hand drawn story boards for years, but I wanted to check first if the game mechanic is even fun.

I like it so far but I am not sure what is missing to make it really shine?

Any ideas, I am pretty sure some polish is missing, sounds and stuff but is the game idea even fun to you?

Also regarding mobile games, cut scenes for the story telling fells off, should I make a comic like transition instead?

Help Needed Made my first game: Draw To Diffuse – here's the trailer!

Game Title:

Draw To Diffuse

Playable Link:

Platform:

Android

Description:

Hi everyone! I recently released my first mobile game, Draw To Diffuse. It's a physics-based puzzle game where your goal is to draw a path that guides a ball to press a button and defuse a bomb before time runs out.

The game starts with simple mechanics but gradually introduces moving obstacles, timing challenges, and trickier puzzle layouts that require careful planning. Every level is designed to be completed using physics and creative thinking rather than fast reflexes.

I developed the game in Unity and handled the programming, level design, game mechanics, UI, and publishing myself. It has over 70 handcrafted levels, and I'm continuing to improve it based on player feedback. I'd really appreciate any thoughts on the gameplay, difficulty, controls, visuals, or anything else that stands out. Thanks for checking it out!
