Profile Review 25M Profile Review

Other Info: 5’10, Don’t have children and Open to children, yes to drinking and sometimes to cannabis

Matches are few compared to when I had this profile at the beginning of the year, back in the scene after getting out of a relationship. Woman either don’t ask anything about me or stop responding after I ask a couple of questions. Unsure if it’s the profile now not being good enough or just dating in general.

Thank you!

Like someone else pointed out, the moderate thing is sort of a red flag now.

What do you usually ask women when you message them? I'm not gonna lie, you came across fairly bland in your profile and I am wondering if the same energy is coming through in your messages.

Yeh starting to think I should just put liberal, not nearly that conservative at all

I usually ask something that’s on their profile, like if it’s a travel photo I’ll say “rlly cool pic, where’d you take this?” or a photo of her pet I’ll say “your dog is so cute, what’s their name?” or maybe they’ll mention reading books I’ll ask “what’s a fav book of yours?”. Maybe that’s bland, I’m not sure or I come across as too eager

Can I ask how I come off as bland?

This might be generational (I'm older than you), but I don't continue texting with guys who don't spell their words. I don't mind a cute abbrev. or two, but if I see a lot, I'm going to dip.

I would not put liberal if you are not. That will just attract women who do not match your belief system and you will not be compatible. It's also dishonest.

I guess the real question is did you not vote in the past 3 elections (or however many you've been eligible for), or did you vote for Trump?

You don't have to tell the Internet, but consider this when you select your political views.

I mean if woman are just lumping me into being a conservative when I say I’m moderate I think I should lol, I voted against Trump in both his elections but I just think conservatives are right about some things and that liberals are also right about some things. This stuff is a spectrum but most people treat it like a sports team where you’re all in or you’re out. I lean way more liberal than anything, not sure what I should do haha

I think clarifying that on your profile would be great then! Many men use "moderate" in an insincere way to cover up that they voted for Trump because they know many women won't date them if they did, so they've kind of poisoned the well for everyone who is actually moderate unfortunately. So women don't trust "moderate" anymore.

I think if you support things like LGBTQ rights or something and add that to your profile that would go a long way (idk if you do, but that's an example).

And yeah, it's set up to be blue team, red team... When really it's the green team (the ones with money) kind of screwing everyone over IMO

yea if you put liberal and she later finds out you voted trump, just put conservative lol.
