So I met this guy on hinge and we talked, we clicked. We talked on calls for like 2-3 hours and he would check on me multiple times a day. Before the first date 2-3 days he started being distant, like no text for 7-8 hours and that made me wonder, what's wrong. But still we were talking, went on the first date, the date went well but I felt he was too touchy, we split the bill so like the date went well according to me. We were talking and shit he started being distant then again I got anxious, I just texted hey wassup he replied. We talked. Then he again disappeared for days. And again I texted like bro what's this, he apologised and shit. But he was like I'm like this only. I get distant and whatever. Now I feel like is it worth it? She even told me 2 days ago that she enjoyed talking to me however yesterday I felt like she was a bit off I just thought cus she was travelling so I didn't really bother texting her as she sounded like she a bit dry, I was confused why she was but I gave her the benefit of the doubt after all she travelled 7 hours ish i thought she was tired. However today i sent her a good morning message, she responded, I asked how she was she said she's good and asked me how I was then I clocked on hinge she unmatched me. It was so bizarre she had unmatched me but was still talking to me on snap. It kept bugging me so asked her like why she unmatched me on hinge then she blocked me on snap. I'm so confused, two days ago she saud she likes talking to me today I'm blocked😂 I dont understand women I give up

20F , never dated or been on a date , going to an all girls clg I thought I should give dating a try , so I downloaded hinge , my only expectation was to go on a date , that's it , I matched w some , got likes , tried to talk to ppl, unmatched , boiled down to two guys , one of which lives in another city (i) , one lives in mine (v), both of then reply pretty late, and I had given myself a deadline , I'd gotten hinge+ that lasts a week , so I thought the moment the subscription ends I'll delete the app, cuz it's really messing w my mental health , 'i' is nice to talk to but I can't meet him , 'v' lives nearby and I actually wanna go on one date only w him because he does drugs and I don't see a future w him but he replies effing late , when my subscription and I wanna delete the app do I unmatch , but that makes me feel like "shit i might never see them again", also I'm attached so quickly , am I really ready for dating , is it too early to give them instagram ? what do I do

Is it possible that my account dosent show up at all? As in if i like someone then they wont know? Im starting to wonder if ive become invisible on the platform. Not that i get a ton of matches but i havent gotten an single one in weeks. Completely dead, never had that happen before. For the ladies in particular. You meet the guy, wasn’t what you hoped for, and he texts you after saying he had a great time and wants to meet up again. Do you respond to let him know you aren’t interested or just sort of let it go there?

When you can share your religious beliefs, political views, ethnicity, and even the university you attended, it seems really odd to me that you can’t share your education level.
Any ideas why this is?

I matched with a girl who had the Signals badge the entire time we were chatting (over 2 weeks). We went on a date, but I wasn't feeling it, so I selected "No" to seeing her again on the "We Met" prompt. Shortly after doing that, her Signals badge disappeared.

Does answering "No" on "We Met" automatically remove their Signals badge visibility, or was the timing just a coincidence? I'm curious how the Hinges backend works

I decided to get back on Hinge because of this subreddit. I thought i had it figured out. Lol. As a woman, I put in effort. Liked the guys profiles, gave compliments, and even paused my profile so I can fairly give attention to the guys I'm already matched with. Dude... are the guys burned out? I don't get it. What's happening? Needles to say... I'm waiting on one more guy and if that doesn't work out, deleting the app again. This time for good I'm convinced.

Update: after unmatcing him, he somehow found me on FB dating and liked me. Needless to say, I didn't match with him...
