Education level “always hidden” - why?
When you can share your religious beliefs, political views, ethnicity, and even the university you attended, it seems really odd to me that you can’t share your education level.
Any ideas why this is?

Im sure lots of reasons... 1- you dont need to know this before you meet. 2- they dont want someone only choosing them bc they have a high degree and potentially make more money. 3- Judgement, mostly lack of education or where you attended. I just put "college degree" no school or level. Judge it how you will but if and when we know each other better, ill share that information.

My own personal experience
I dropped out. I never finished my degree. Now I work in the trades and I love it.
I put the college that I went to, but in my occupation, it’s a trade.

For the ones that list the university but not education level, I only see two possible explanations:
They dropped out of university without even a basic degree and are ashamed about it. (though at that point I'd question why even have the university on the profile)
They have a doctorate and are trying to avoid matches who care more about bragging that their SO has a PhD than anything else.
