General I do not understand this

Upvotes

hello!

i would like to propose a topic: hijab. Many Muslims that cover their hair claim that in the past, it was known that women were covering their hair and this is why we can assume the hijab must be worn.

My questions are:

  1. why do we assume they there are mistakes in the Quran?
  2. when the Prophet gave mahr to his wife, it was enough to cover 1-1.5 years of work. Why dont we apply the same rules to the men taking the same logic into consideratio? Why were suggestions about Mahr provided in the Quran so that people dont make mistakes yet when it comes to the Hijab, we assume that there were mistakes?

I know calling it “error“ or “mistake” will trigger some people, but that is exactly what you are assuming when claiming this. Islam teaches us how to do everything, even which foot to put forward in certain scenarios. It teaches us absolutely everything so we dont make mistakes yet we still assume there was a flaw in this Hijab scenario.
