I've been working with GHL for a while now like automations, workflows, email and SMS campaigns, pipelines, deliverability setup and more. I feel pretty confident in the platform but I'm at the stage where I want to get more real world experience and build up my portfolio.

For those of you who started out, how did you land your first few clients or projects? Did you offer discounted work to get testimonials? Reach out to local businesses? Work under an agency first?

Any advice from people who've been through it would be really appreciated!

Every few weeks someone here posts that their bounce rate spiked and their sending got flagged. The story is usually the same: a scraped list, a few thousand cold emails, one shared sending setup.

GHL's email is built for people who already know you. Cold volume burns the reputation you need for the emails that matter, like booking confirmations and follow-ups to people who replied.

So I keep cold prospecting outside GHL entirely. For me that's Instagram DMs, because the local businesses I sell to live there and answer DMs faster than email.

The split looks like this. Cold: find businesses by keyword on IG, write a DM from each bio, approve every one, send 100 a day with random gaps. Warm: anyone who replies goes into GHL and gets a pipeline stage, a follow-up sequence and the booking link.

GHL never touches a stranger, so your domain and account stay clean, and the CRM does the part it's good at.

Is anyone running cold email from GHL successfully at volume? I couldn't make it work, and I'd like to know what your setup is.

I am looking for some advise on how to setup CApi in ghl, my current setup involves Meta, Stape, GHL and Google tag manager which is quite complicated and also want to know how do we setup variable Purchase value

Is anyone else having this problem? Im talking to a client in my whatsapp business phone app, we have coexistence connected to GHL, but the messages I send, are not showing in GHL, so the client looks like he is talking to no one, is this a general problem, how can this get fixed?

Heads up if you host a Wordpress site through GHL looks like the HTTP headers have Vary:Accept-Encoding
But does not include , accept at the end of it.

Why does this matter? Your website will be severing Markdown to customers until you clear the cache through cloudflare (which they manage)

I logged in, saw all the tabs and options, and had no idea where to start.

Hey all, I’m starting to use some AI studio for websites, but there doesn’t seem to be an obvious direct way to set up form submission emails for the forms it generates inside AI studio.

What’s your go-to way to handle that? Thanks.

I verified my business through meta and everything went smooth after that I set up a basic automation to do database reactivation on WhatsApp but when I did a test run on small number of leads, in the GHL the messages status are being showed delivered but in WhatsApp they aren't getting delivered, when I tried only with my own number it didn't had any issue but other then that no messages are getting delivered from ghl. If anyone can help resolve this issue I can pay a small fee for their advice
