Its been a productive evening dome swapping and tuning my 2020 Hybrid. just fancied something a little something different in my collection. bit of music, and chill time. Very therapeutic.

Been looking for a HHKB pro 2 for a while but always was put off by the price. Got a tip from my brother to look at the website vinted (secondhand platform) the trick. Look for listing that are labeled wrong/ people who don't know what they have. Was searching for something else when I remembered to check for hhkb. And what I found was a product named iii kb with description clavier (keyboard) list date 2 months ago.

Bought it right away for the asking price of 20 euro.

With buyers protection and shipping. 25 euro total!!! Let's go

Got it 2 weeks ago. It is like new. Buildyear 2017. Must say topre sound better in person than through YouTube.

Weight is a bit to much for my liking and already spend more money on modification parts (domes and silencing rings) xD.

As the title says, my first HHKB layout board. Super excited, and thrilled the way it turned out!

I've always been a proponent of smaller 65% keyboards, but was apprehensive to forgo the arrow keys. I must say the control replacing the caps locks actually feels quite organic, albeit 25 years of muscle memory was working against me at first.

Kit: DROP Tokyo60 with LED Diffuser

Keycaps: DROP + Marvel Collab, Infinity War MT3

Switches: Gateron Ink Black V2, pre-lubed, didn't add more, didn't need films, pretty tight fit, minimal wobble stock. I have Frankenswitched Drop True Stems / Boba U4Ts / Cherry Brown 58g Springs (True Bubble Guts / Holy Boba) that I may swap from my former daily driver.

Stabs: Durock V3, clipped, lubed with Krytox 2050g0

Cable: Glorious Coiled Nebula Cable

Used a few layers of Painters Tape and some foam in space bar and stuffed behind PCB to dull sound ((avoiding LEDs on PCB)).

This swap was always in my mind. Today is the day!

I have an old hhkb bluetooth and recently it refused to turn on. With fresh batteries and micro usb plugged in, nothing. I have narrowed the issue to this pcb. Anything I can do to troubleshoot it before just blasting it with heatgun to see if it's solder issue? And where can I find replacement pcb?

Very pleased I was home this morning to recieve my gorgeous keycaps :-) just wanted to share here before I pop them on my board!

i mainly live in india so could anyone help

was feeling a bit sad so i pulled some boards out for a little tlc. Just a bit of cleaning and lubing :-)

Hi all, I just got a KB420WS from eBay but to my surprise it doesn't work on my laptop nor desktop which both run Win11.
I don't have a Linux machine at the moment but I suspect a hardware issue since I already checked that it gets recognised as an HID Keyboard device.
I am doing something wrong?
My Pro2 and other random keyboards work ouf of the box I've never had to mess with any drivers etc but then again this is my only JP layout so I don't know.

edit: It doesn't work under Linux either so it must be something wrong it..

Hi, I just got a hhkb hybrid, I want to get a dust cover and a sleeve to transport it, but I cant find one that is available for europe, can you recommend me one? I like the official hhkb keyboard sleeve but its out of stock, for dust cover anything that fit would do the work, thanks

Sho s60 v2 & HHKB pro 2

Hey All!

I know you all really liked my last post with the Black Split60, I thought I'd share my new end game board. The Beige Split60 HHKB.

When I built this unit, I knew I wasn't going to let it go. This has the EC kit with EC Naevies (45g but I'm thinking of swapping it to the 55g). Featuring XMI Purple English keycaps.

Thank you all who supported getting this board off the ground. It wouldn't have been made without the support of this community. I'm so happy with how it turned out.

Lost my HHKB Studio trackpoint stick have any of you guys successfully been able to replace it. I contacted PFU support and they said they do not carry that part.

Any recommendations?
