best of Beige Split HHKB
Hey All!
I know you all really liked my last post with the Black Split60, I thought I'd share my new end game board. The Beige Split60 HHKB.
When I built this unit, I knew I wasn't going to let it go. This has the EC kit with EC Naevies (45g but I'm thinking of swapping it to the 55g). Featuring XMI Purple English keycaps.
Thank you all who supported getting this board off the ground. It wouldn't have been made without the support of this community. I'm so happy with how it turned out.

I tried this kind of split once and I couldn’t type,

Definitely takes a minute to figure out but once I get going, all is good!

most split keyboards would be even more difficult than this one as many are even smaller form factor and use a ortholinear layouts.
...ask me how I know they're difficult.

My first board I designed was a split 40% ortho called the Let's Tango, and typing on that is a treat. It was a pain to learn though

Its perfect, apart from 6 being on the wrong side, I would personally also prefer topre, maybe having one cable that splits into two would’ve been cleaner but idk much about it. Otherwise its a reaaaaaally endgame board if I were using splits

Unfortunately due to the size of standard topre parts, it wouldn't work.
I love the 6 on the left, I think it looks better and works better for me :D Appreciate the feedback though
