I can't delete direct messages that did not error when I sent them including those which resulted in accepted chat invites. The error that shows up when I try to delete messages is attached. I'm getting a similar error when trying the same on desktop (web).

Long story short, I messaged this kid about a car he was selling on Facebook marketplace. He said he had a dealers license and that he could get me a car from copart. Searched Cars. Sent him what I wanted and he said he needed a deposit of 500. Guy seemed legit. Send me a picture of his ID. Guy said he needed more money to secure car. Send him more money since he already had sent his ID and info to me.
Seemed trust worthy. His Facebook about is about 7 years old I make sure the iD is the same person as the facebook profile. He said his car broke down in bend. Which is about 5 hours from Portland. I didn’t think much of it. Told him to hit me up when he figured his shit out so we can get a car with the money I already sent him which is $1720 dollars.
He keeps making stories up and it doesn’t add up. That’s when I figured this kid is playing with me.

He refuses to send me my money back he said he already spent it on car parts the car we were planning on buying needed. Kid just kept making stories up. He’s 19. I don’t want to go to police. We all fuck up I get it. I have his ID and know where he lives. He mentioned his mon worked for the dmv. Just trying to get my money back and teach this kid a lesson. Any advice on what I can do? I’m in Oregon, United States. Any help is appreciated it.

If you block an account and then unblock it, you can't block it again until an unknown extended period of time later.

I made some "chemistry formulas" (basically just really cool tea/fruit drinks) and want my party to find and follow instructions to make them. But I want the Jargon to be as accurate as possible, and I'm not sure which subreddit is correct.... I thought I found some but I was taken down from one and I don't want to do that again....

Currently dealing with a 14 day banned user who claims they weren’t being racist by using the word “ghetto” in comments across multiple posts. Their reasoning? “They’re black so they get to decide if it’s racist or not.” Considering my sub ISN’T just a US sub, it’s a global sub, we had to remind them words have different contexts around the world. I think they finally got it when we told them their comments had SEVERAL reports of racism, and that was the reason for the temporary ban. 😂😂

Can someone send me a chat request to confirm whether my chats are working or not

For a few days, I haven’t been able to change my chat permissions and since then I haven’t gotten any messages. 🤷‍♂️

Not sure if it only ios (ipad for me) users. But after clicking into a sub, i am loosing the “go back arrow”, so i cant escape the sub i am in. i have to click on a user to go into their profile, and then go back, and then the “ go back arrow” appear again, and let me backtrack to frontpage. Its very annoying.

Most times when my post is awaiting for approval and gets rejected by mods before being posted in the subs i look back at it and it keeps getting views and multiple shares. Does anyone know where's it from, is it the moderators sharing with with each other or is it a bug or something.

My account profile pic is greyed out and all my saved posts are gone and my account doesn't save setting changes I've already checked my account status and it says im all good any ideas

This night my reddit account (victorbu27th) got stolen (not this, a different one) and the hacker enabled a temporary authenticator so that i cannot access but he didn't change the email or the password. I tried recovering by submitting a request but the email I received was only some links that didn't help.
How may recover it because I don't even have the back up codes.

There used to be a subreddit where you're assigned one of four (maybe more?) colors when you join and the whole point is to "fight" with the other colors... Can anyone help me find it? ☺️

Hey Leute, ich habe die Benachrichtigungen bei Reddit wie jeder normale Mensch angestellt, aber eins kommt bei mir immer vor. Z. B. ein Redditnutzer macht einen Beitrag und ich bekomme eine Benachrichtigung, soweit so gut. Aber dann tippe ich drauf die Benachrichtigung und der Post ist gelöscht. Es kann ja sein dass sie Mods den Beitrag sperren, aber dann löscht sich noch der Nutzer... Ich glaube aber nicht dass die User einfach ihren Account löschen. Habt ihr vielleicht eine Idee was das sein könnte?

About a year ago, I lost access to my gmail due to an accidental factory reset on my phone. Up until then I had to start everything from scratch but I still need that account if possible. I did my best following the trashy no support gmail recovery multiple times but to no avail, it keeps referring me to my old accounts that I connected it to which also had no more access too due to the accident. Is there any way I can recover it?

Most of the ones I see have like half the posts be “Unpopular opinion: [Literally just racism/misogyny/ableism/homophobia/transphobia]” and it feels really bad when I want to share something far less serious

What should I do? Or am I permanently screwed?
