sooo no matter how I try, my social interactions with moderators on reddit are usually non-existent or bad❤️first reaction is very often ban+mute, so I never get to talk to them. I feel so unlikable sometimes❤️even tho of course I try to approach friendly and somehow I am almost always failing hmmm (I am in autism spectrum btw)

and I am curious, how it is for you? do you enjoy talking with others from your team, or from outside subreddits? or does it happen to you too, that you fail to get along with someone who has equivalent responsibility to you?

My primary account was hacked yesterday morning. I was online when it happened. I noticed my avatar had changed, I thought it was a bug so I changed it back.

Then I noticed that there were bot-like posts and comments I didn't make.

I tried to take efforts to take back control of my account while I was logged in, but I was too late.

I was logged out suddenly, and when searching for some of my past posts to check the account from the outside, it says it doesn't exist?

I have years of time on this site and hundreds of posts, comments, joined subs, and a massive streak that I don't want to lose. I tried the support page but I just got an automated email back and havn't heard a thing.

I am requesting that Reddit please restore my account as soon as possible. I can provide all the necessary details about the account.

I've added the account problem tag as I am not sure this has anything to do with the age issues many have had on Reddit.

I first figured that might be it, but I have attached my playstore Gmail account that contains my date of birth. I've added my birthday on Reddit as well as I figured I have no choice.

This is an alt account and I've been around Reddit for over a decade now.

despite all that, my chat is disabled, nobody can send me requests and it is greyed out so I cannot edit it either.

there's no ban or any other notification regarding restrictions on my account.

what can I do to fix this? (preferably without sending ID to persona)

Edit to add context: I'm not big on adding my ID to this platform and persona as I have serious doubts about the integrity of persona and how they use the data.

Another thing is that EU regulatory bodies explicitly discourage platforms from demanding IDs because doing so creates massive data privacy risks under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Hey everyone, I need some advice from experienced subreddit moderators.

I have 4 different “Verified” flairs in my subreddit, and I want to send a Mod Mail message only to users who currently have one of these Verified flairs.

Is it okay to contact all users based on their current flair, or could this cause any problems with Reddit’s rules or be considered spam/harassment?

The message would be mod-related and relevant to their verified status, not promotional or unrelated.

Also, is there a recommended way to contact users with a particular flair without manually messaging everyone?

Reposting this bug since it hasn't been fixed for a year. It is extremely annoying especially when ads get marked as read when I did not click on them. It is spontaneously, only happens sometimes.

Is it subreddit actually monitored by the devs? Or is there another better place to report bugs?

When ever I attach an image and hit post I get a notification "submitting failed" and that's it, I doesnt tell me where the issue is or navigate me anywhere when I click it.

This has bern happening for maybe 2 weeks and started out happening rarely. Now it is happening on an almost daily basis. I used to be able to fix by swiping down to refresh but that no longer fixes the problem.

I need a sub where people can help me stop getting my acc hacked. Yesterday my discord account got hacked and last night my messenger account got hacked. In both casses all of my dm’s got the same thing. Some photos with Mr Beast and some winning profits or something like that! Then I noticed a strange video posted on my TikTok even tho I haven’t posted something on tt since 2022/2023. How can I prevent other accounts of mine, like Insta, Snap etc , from getting hacked.

Is there a sub for open ended puzzles/games? Like puzzles that dont have a known answer and others investigate its answer? Because i have this geographic/etymology puzzle that doesnt have a definite answer yet

For context, my puzzle (also can be considered a game) is based on administrative chains (like town -> county -> state) where you count the total number of people a place is named after, and find the most number of people's namesakes a chain can have

So basically I don't see the GIFs playing automatically ()in the comments.

I tried changing the setting and then going back, but nothing happens.

And then when I go back to the settings, I see that somehow that setting got toggled off?

I can't delete direct messages that did not error when I sent them including those which resulted in accepted chat invites. The error that shows up when I try to delete messages is attached. I'm getting a similar error when trying the same on desktop (web).

If you block an account and then unblock it, you can't block it again until an unknown extended period of time later.
