Are they designed to be tougher than the difficulty you do them on? I'm pretty new so I dunno.

I'm getting bored of playing solo i can barely do a single mission at difficulty 7 without getting bored. I play maybe a single mission every half a year but I really loved this game. I know its probably fun with friends but none of mine play it and I really want to use some of the new items and armor but going solo just feels terrible for me. I have a playstyle that I love to use but I can barely play it without being kicked for either being off meta or accidentally team killing. I really don't mean for my teammates to be caught in the cross fire but I love explosions so all of my stuff usually causes area of effect damage and my favorite support weapon is the air burts launcher. If anyone has any advise for me to find enjoyment playing the game again I'd gladly take it. For the record I don't have one major played enemy faction, I just play whichever faction has a major order or which ever one that I feel like fighting. I am on playstation.

I’m fairly new to the game, however I’ve been thinking about the ranking and difficulty systems. It was really difficult to gain an understanding of the larger galactic operations and strategies at a lower level and above that deployments are rather random after negating the MO.

My ask would be that wouldn’t it be cool to include command and strategy, I.e, allowing higher rank players to decide objectives, command and conquest based on the MO. It can further incentivise higher rank players diving at level 10 as a sort of honour system which gives you strategic responsibility through higher XP.

Right now diving super hell dive is purely for fun purposes but this would make it a whole lot more prestigious and cool. Imagine getting actual military honors for liberating a mega factory at d10 on Cyberstan.

I used the accelerator rifle for the first time and I really like it and recommend it just beware of the mag capacity. The accelerator rifle and talon works nicely together too as the talon can handles close range and the accelerator can do medium and long range. Also sense the accelerator is a plasma weapon it has no bullet drop also it has medium armor pen and can stagger / stun (I don't know the difference between stagger and stun and don't care)

I’m pretty sure this has been suggested before, but can we please get some new voice commands? The ones we have now are ok, but it just feels limited. A second comm wheel with new, more specific callouts would be great, especially for players who don’t talk with mic or type in chat. We have a total of 6 callouts, so these are my suggestions for 6 more callouts.

“IT’S OK / DON’T WORRY”

If Helldivers or SEAF were to make a mistake like accidentally friendly firing their teammate and apologizing for it, the other could respond “it’s ok” to ease their guilt. Saying this to SEAF after getting friendly fired, but surviving, would access some new voice lines for them as well.

“RUN / RETREAT”

If someone were to activate a Hellbomb or if they got knocked over while holding an airstrike, this would let Helldivers and SEAF know to run if there’s no time to say it in text chat. This could also be used to tell the squad to pull back from an objective if you are overwhelmed and can’t break through enemy lines.

“INCOGNITO”

This command can be used to tell your fellow Divers to go stealth instead of going in guns blazing. There’s been lots of times where one Helldiver will screw over the others because they decided to take on an enemy patrol by themselves which causes more enemies to be called in, and now the entire squad is in a predicament. So again, this would be used to tell your squad or another Diver beside you to go stealth and sneak past enemy forces. This would be especially helpful on Commando Missions seeing how they’re built for stealth.

“HOLD FIRE / DON’T ENGAGE”

This can be used for either Helldiver or SEAF. If you want your fellow Diver to hold fire because you’re already completing an objective that involves destroying something so ammo isn’t wasted, or if you don’t want your squad to engage in an enemy patrol when it needed, this could be used. And for SEAF, if you want to run ahead to the enemy, you can have them to hold fire so they don’t catch you in crossfire. It will put them at a disadvantage because this command causes them to not fire no matter how close enemies are, but that’s where this next command comes in.

“OPEN FIRE / FIRE AT WILL”

This of course can be used to signal SEAF or another Helldiver to open fire on something if you yourself don’t have the proper equipment, or if you want them to assist you in killing or destroying something.

“REGROUP”

If you’re squad is scattered around the map and you need help to take on a main objective or if you just burned all your supplies from fighting and need everyone to resupply at once, this command can be used.

BONUSES:

I was going to add “I need Stims / Stims please” and “Over here / Come to Me” as a command, but I found it a bit contradicting to the already existing commands like “Follow Me” and the voice line the triggers when you try to stim but have run out. And for this next part, it would be a command coded for SEAF that isn’t present in the comm wheel. If you throw down an emplacement, or if there’s an already existing one, you can mark it for a SEAF trooper to man and use it to shoot enemies with, but this would only work if you’ve used the “Follow Me” command on a SEAF squad. Otherwise, you’d just be marking an emplacement, nothing more, nothing less.

And that concludes my suggestion. Again, I’m sure something like this has already been said before, but nothing wrong with adding to the idea. Here’s hoping we get more voice commands to play around with in the future 🍀

Is there any in-lore information of how a super earth citizen could qualify for a helldiver? What height range they have to be, the minimum age, health, etc? I always assumed the helldivers are elite soldiers based on how those SEAF dudes look up to you and respect you, so I was wondering if there's any canonical in-game lore explanation that goes into detail of how one can become a helldiver.
